I am stretching for that second star - only because an employee tried to help. Went in for standard size replacement windows - showed two in stock and location on website. Of course, they weren’t there. So… had to wait for employees helping other lost customers find what should be easy to locate. Finally, after an hour and a half (part of that was waiting) the windows could not be located - despite the fact that they supposedly just finished inventory! I asked if they could order in at least one for me. They said that they could not as it was a stock item and they were showing inventory on hand. The system is broken, Lowe’s! I have a number of large purchases still to make (though the windows should be enough to care a little more), but will be looking for other sources that don’t require as much effort on my part to separate myself from my money. I have my own business, and cannot imagine making life so frustrating as this store does to its locale clientele. If you controlled your inventory better, your employees could be less and more available. Horribly managed, inadequate training and missing inventory. How can it get worse? Only this store could answer that question in a number of ways.

This is the worst Lowe’s I have ever seen. Employees don’t care. Employees busy talking to each other, if you can find them. Had them drop my door and tell me it may be broken when I get it home and open it. Oh and please be careful in there they have RATS! I called corporate who had the manager of that store call me, waste of time. Trash everywhere, can’t find anything. The list goes on. Unfortunately there is nothing else close by so they don’t care. I will personally drive 2 hours to go somewhere else. I will never shop somewhere I try and pick something up and see a RAT looking back at me. If you need a fork lift, they had left theirs in the parking lot with the keys in it with no employees around. I was told when I went to the front for help everyone was getting buggies. Well the buggies don’t spend money. Save yourself the hassle, take the time and drive somewhere else. They do not care.

We have had enough of this poorly ran store. Customer service is absent here. We've had too many bad experiences to go back. It's like they don't care that you are a customer who is paying their paycheck. We once had to try and return a pressure washer that didn't work. We never even used it. My wife bought it for me last year for father's day. She bought it a few Weeks before father's day. Then gave it to me on father's day. Because of working it was 2 weekends later before I tried to use it. It didn't work!! So we take it back and they said it was over 30 days since purchasing and there was nothing they could do. But they could send it back to be repaired, but it would cost me !! The attitude from this employee was. Oh well, take it or leave it. I've spent a lot of money here, like most of the people in orangeburg. Since then it's been one poor experience after another. Today the experience really upset my wife so bad, she came home in tears. I'll drive the 40 minuets to Home Depot before I go back there. And I promise nothing but harsh words will be said to all my family and friends about this business. Home Depot Please come to Orangeburg.

I am currently at Lowe's and can not get the items I need due to the staff using the forklift to move product. This should be done during the closed hours. The other items I need are twisted and low in stock even though there is a bundle on the top shelf.

If there is a worse Lowe’s on this planet I haven’t found it yet. To start with you have to wait for someone to die just to get a lumber cart. They do have plenty of employees to watch you load your cart. There is as I write this 4 employees standing around the checkout area in lumber and 1 running a register. There are ten people in line.

I used to be a huge fan of Lowe's and shopped there often. The stores are all self check out now and I despise that. I can order what I need online and will from now on. I won't shop at stores that have all self check out. Shame on you Lowe's. I hope that move costs you a fortune.

Well, if you need anything from Orangeburg Lowes, you may want to make a trip to Columbia or Summerville. Even if it shows that they have what you are looking for online, 9 times out of 10, if you go there, they don't have it, and most of the time their employees are too busy communicating amongst themselves to help you out! It seems that it is very bothersome for them to even look at you, let alone help you out.I can't say that about all of the employees there, but a good portion of them are that way.

I have an order for a shower door. I have a tracking number that says it was delivered to Lowe's of Orangeburg. Lowe's of Orangeburg claims it has not arrived but they are also doing NOTHING to solve the issue. I have called this Lowe's directly and the only answer I can get is that I've been "rescheduled" for delivery the following Saturday even though they know they do not have the shower door! Its been rescheduled 6 times now. I've tried to call the manufacturer of the shower door with no response. Lowe's corporate has sent a formal request multiple times for this store to resolve my issue and they continue to SUCKKKKK. My only hope now is to complain here, the BBB and Lowe's Corporate to escalate.

Very large store and stock. The store is decently clean for what kind of store it is. Plenty of shopping carts and staff . Everyone was friendly and polite. Eager to help out in any situation. They gave plenty of parking. Handicap parking and restrooms. The restrooms were fairly clean and functioning. Signs are large and clear with simple instructions to find what you need.

I buy alot at Lowes. A great inventory of supplies for all my project needs. They do need more blue lumber carts that roll properly though. The last visit I tried 5 and the 6th cart was usable.

Worst Lowe's experience ever. I've been inside this store several times now and I can't tell you how much I wish there was another option for a hardware store nearby. Half the time I can't find what I need because the shelves are not stocked. When I need assistance from an employee I have to search half the store only to find them huddled in a group laughing and joking while playing on their phones. None of them provide any real assistance or knowledge. The average wait time at a register is easily 20 minutes regardless of how many people are in front of you. I've been sitting here for almost 15 minutes waiting for someone to unlock items in the parking lot so I can load what I paid for and be on my way.

in October, my wife and I purchased a Genrac for our home with a 10 yr. warranty, after getting confirmation that we were accepted for this warranty, we get a notice that we were rejected. installation is scheduled for next week. we are not happy with lowes, or salesman Scott Parker. efforts to reach anybody at Lowe's in Orangeburg have been fitule. we. need your help getting this warranty through Genrac or Lowes before installation happens next week or deal is dead. Enough is Enough!

Well laid-out branch of the Lowes franchise. They had exactly what I needed. Staff was polite and helpful.I go to Lowe's often; and, I appreciate how they place seasonal-demand items out-in-front of the store or just inside the doors. Even though the self-checkout is pretty convenient & quick, I do wish they would staff some additional check-out registers.

I have tried shopping at the Lowes in Orangeburg for the past three months. I now drive to Columbia or Mount P. In Orangeburg employees are always on a phone and they go out of their way to avoid people.

This Lowes is by far the worst Lowes we have ever visted. Over and over, it the employees are unfriendly, they act like it is a big inconvenience to help a customer. They do not say two words to anyone. It like they are lethargic. The prices are hard to find on things and it is messy. We are now going out of our way to go to the Lowes in Columbia, just because this one is so bad.It just keeps getting worse. Have you run into Fay? We were taking some lumber back as we were heading to customer service, barked at us, that we had to take it to lumber, no I am sorry or kindness in any way. We go to look for the lumber we needed and as usual the don't have what we need. Foud something suitable and we were trying to head to check out and there she was in the isle talking to someone. She saw us but didn't move. Just kept on talking. So we had to walk out of our way to get to check out. When is Lowes just going to get that they need to hire people who are not so rude?

This Lowes in Orangeburg, SC has the WORST customer service of any commercial store I have ever had to interact with!!!!! I have been trying to get a pallet of concrete retaining wall blocks returned to the store for 12 days now and have been met with nothing but incompetence, outright lies, many phone hang ups, refusal to connect me to a manager and other delaying tactics. I’m disgusted with the way they treat a customer.

Lowe's has just about everything you could ask for. I mean literally I have never not found anything I went for. The only thing is if you need help and they page someone you better sit down for a while.

Worse run Lowes I've ever been to. No carts were available there was a huge line of people trying to check out near contractors desk and right out side there was a huge argument and yelling and the door was basically blocked I gave up and left wont be back

My primary reason for the visit was to purchase additional edging stones for my flower beds and the store didn't have the type I bought on the spring. A few other items I was looking for, I found something that will work, but not exactly what I was looking for. Customer service doesn't seem to be the goal of the company.

I don't get there very often and I was there with friends. The employees were very friendly and helpful. I have a friend who works at Lowe's in Tennessee, Savannah I think. I sent him a photo of me standing in the lighting department. He couldn't believe it.

Can't ever get someone with any knowledge on the phone. They always have you on hold for a long time, and then you get transferred to customer service over and over again. A manager is never available to speak with. This lowes is horrible when it comes to customer service.
