I wish I could give zero stars, I made an appointment on the Walgreens website to get my free Covid 19 shot under the bridge access program, I have no health insurance. I went in and was told that I had to pay $184.99 for the shot because I wasn’t covered. I told the staff there that it shows no cost to me from their website, not to mention when I checked in with Londa (pharmacy staff) she had just told me that it was no charge. The staff that there was so rude, and the one woman (I believe her name is Ashley, Caucasian woman) walked off while I was in mid conversation with her. They have no customer service skills there. Needless to say I went to CVS and got my free shot. I’m very disappointed with this Walgreens pharmacy, I will NEVER go back there.

When we first moved here in 2020 we hated this was our best option but let me tell you they have turned this around this past year! More staff, happier staff, helpful pleasant folks. Efficiency has improved exponentially and the store is always clean and well stocked. Well done guys we appreciate it!

I went here the other day and purchased 3 bags cough drops and a bag of candy which were all suppose to be on sale. The clerk ran it up and it came to 34.99 I said to my husband I don’t think this is right then looked at receipt in car and saw they charged me twice for one of the bags of cough drops and they overcharged me in the other items. I went back in and the clerk that overcharged me was busy so I got a different clerk she argued that the prices were right then she finally noticed I was charged twice for cough drops so after much arguing she gave me most of the money back but I still think she shorted me by 3.00! Every time I’ve went here the sale items never ring up the sale price. I will never go there again.

We waited for over an hour for my wife’s prescription to be filled after her surgery, then they told us we have to wait another two hours. We live an hour away and the lady stated “Not my problem”.

I have been to this Walgreens many times. The employees are friendly, the store is clean and well stocked. They had my prescriptions ready and filled quickly. When I have called the pharmacy they have been very helpful and kind.I used to work in a pharmacy and I know how difficult this job is.I feel like many of these reviews are ridiculous and the reviewers have unrealistic expectations of the employees.Do not let them dissuade you from going to this store.

Tried to do the right thing and properly discard old prescription drugs at their safe drop box. Waited in pharmacy drive through line behind one person for 20 minutes. Not sure why it took that long to serve one person. When I got to window they said I had to come in and walk all the way to back of store to drop off. I had a dog and sleeping baby in the car. That wasn’t possible. She said she couldn’t help but didn’t offer to explain why that may be policy or anything. I was not able to do what I set out to accomplish and left.

This lady at the pharmacy was so rude! She was an elderly African American and she was not civil and kept raising her voice. She did not want anyone to ask questions and she behaved like you should already know all the answers. Not good customer service at all. I use to work at Walgreens. This location needs corporate to come down and do some retraining.

Have u ever seen so many 1 for a store? I think you need to have retraining for all staff members especially pharmacist! Had wrong meds and blamed it on MD The attitude was so bad by pharmacist and wouldn't even make an attempt to reach MD. She was so rude the nice girl at counter told me bring prescriptions back within 7 days esp when SHE is not here I thought you could not return medications?...

The photo section was awful. First there was no one there,. I asked the front to get someone to help me. She said she already did. Waiting and waiting. Finally I see this red hair woman I recognized going down the isle into another room. I walked to the room and was about to open the door to get help. She comes out, I ask if she could get me my photos. Annoyed she walks up to the photo area hands me my pictures and say to take it up front!-Now the only register was packed. Before i could ask her if she could ring me up she turned and walked away. This isn't the first time this happened at the photo counter. This woman is rude and should not be working like she is doing customers a BIG favor. I stopped going to the pharmacy, very under staffed. I jow go to Preferred Pharmacy by Jersey Mikes. They are the best customer service. Just like years ago. You can keep the big box stores.

DO NOT get tested there for Covid. I went to get tested and they never sent the samples to the lab. I called the lab and they told me that they haven’t received any samples from that pharmacy in a while. I called Walgreens to make sure that they sent the samples and they told me they “probably did” because they send everything at the lab at 5PM everyday. Well, It’s been almost 7 days and I still don’t have my results and just went to take a test somewhere else. If you need a PCR test for travel purposes go somewhere else because chances are that you won’t get your results in time.

My husband had surgery today. Before we left the surgical center in Beaufort his pain medication prescription was called in. By time we drove to the pharmacy (about 45 mins later) I was told it wasn't ready and that they had just gotten it. She said it would be an hour and a half before it was filled. I told her my husband just had surgery and that was his pain medication. She then said she would try and rush it and get it done in 30 min. Two hours later we call and it's still not filled and again told another hour and a half till it will be filled. This will be the last time we use Walgreens

Pharmacy is understaffed and I can understand their frustration being overwhelmed, however poor customer service and human interaction skills are truly lacking on their part. To put it simply, avoid this place. Go somewhere else. You will avoid ruining your day.

I’ve used Walgreens for a very long time for all my prescription needs. I moved from MD and this Walgreens is the closest to my house. Terrible customer service at the pharmacy. Very short when responding and not friendly. Pharmacy staff makes you feel like you’re bothering them and having to help you is inconveniencing them.

They gave me an empty bottles! I was first in line this morning for my medication waiting for the store to open then I get all the way to my doctor's for a procedure and no pill! This is outrageous I would strong never use this pharmacy again!

I went here to fill a prescription for the first time I normally use the piggly wiggly but Im at work so i figured i would get it filled here to save time. I walked up and the lady at the counter you could tell she was not in a very good mood. I asked about my prescription and she said "you know you cant get that till its yo time." what she meant was that i had to wait until a certain time to pick up my script. She was very very rude the whole time. I understand waiting or it to be filled but they should call you if i have to wait till a certain time i should be told the time i need to be there. this is no way to keep customers!

Took them well over an hour for me to get my shot. I get that there's a worker shortage, but there was no organization to combat it. They skipped over me probably 2 or 3 times for people that came in after me. Horribly inefficient, and absolutely terrible, go to another walgreens or CVS, definitely not this one.

Needed my pain pills, after waiting at home for several hours , I began to call over to Walgreens Okatie. It’s all automated and you have to follow prompts and eventually disconnects. Getting frustrated I drove over ,this was at 5:00.They said the pharmacy closed earlier because of accident.!

Tried for an entire week to get my medication. My dr sent them refill approval three times and even called them. They still claim they don’t have it. You have one pharmacist doing everything the rudest girls ever not caring to follow. Will be looking for a new pharmacy.

They have the WORST customer service for a pharmacy I have EVER encountered. The photo department is usually #awesome, but tonight was the first time I've been told their machine was down and they had NO idea when it would be fixed. When I called again to see if it had been, several hours later, I asked to cancel my photo order via my iPhone app and the woman acted like I had spoken to her in Spanish. #ridiculous

Daughter and boyfriend tried to pay for purchases, first on one card and then the other, and the cards did not work. The manager was called over. Both my daughter and her boyfriend looked up their accounts to assure the money was there in the weird chance that both accounts were being declined for cause, but there was money in both accounts. Despite this, they were treated disrespectfully, as if they were trying to do something underhanded. They next went to Publix where the cards worked fine. Maybe check your machine or your cashier?

Quite literally the worst Walgreens I think anyone’s ever going to go to. They blame laziness and incompetence on “short staffing” or “technical difficulties” 9 out of 10 times. Recommend going…anywhere else.

They have a yong girl working in pharmacy department - always very rude and very disrespectful. Always making very rude comments. For example, I greeted her, she looked at me and Lough. She told me in a very rude manner that part of my prescription is not covered, then she told me its not in stock and finally she said they have it and it's covered. What?

Absolute worst customer service of any chain/retail pharmacy(or store in general)I have ever seen. If anyone at all is rude to you or doesnt provide you with a quality of service you should expect or atleast hope to expect at a national store with a large customer service center such as walgreens, their supervisor(s) will relentlessly take up for them and do absolutely NOTHING about the problem, even when i was on the phone with the national customer Service line ,On top of the cashier and assistant manager turning down a valid form of government id (in date and valid NC drivers license that has every single piece of relavent and even irrelevant info pertaining to my age and name including (2) seperate photos on the same id, PLUS a college issued valid id with my name and color picture just for reference), and due to the license being SLIGHTLY faded i had to walk in almost 90 degree heat without any drink due to the rudeness and refusal back 15 miles to where i had to be. On this particular occasion, not even one of my SMALLEST expectations of atleast halfway decent customer service and kindness walking into a national chain were even closely met. Between the cashier at the front, 1 asst. Manager, and the store manager ( whose name shall be left anonymous due to myself having atleast the decency not to be rude to ANYONE the way he was to me, with myself on the customer service phone number needing to provide his name to cocorporate. The cashier flat out refused, and the STORE manager walked up to me and had his name tag hidden turned around on his managers vest to purposely block it for some reason, then handed me a card with a name, not knowing whose it even is! If i was talking to a customer, (such as myself), who at my store, spends in excess of $800+ on JUST a SINGLE product each month, not counting the numerous other products and also prescriptions i pay them for) i would have tried to fix the problem politely and peacefully, but he chose not to and that is why i am reporting my experience today. And to say the least they have been reported to corporate and i will not be spending my HARD EARNED money there anymore! I will personally make sure corporate makes note and correctly deals with this discraceful store, and some of its managers and employees!

So we scheduled my kid for an appointment for a COVID shot at 350 got there 15 minutes early did all the paperwork and then waited for 45 minutes before some asked us what we were waiting for and had to start the process over providing all the information we had given them.

Can't tell you how many times I have dropped off prescriptions at the Okatie location and then went to pick up and then told they are out of stock and unable to fill. Your phone number is on the prescription. It would seem that someone would call you and let you know so that you could I have the option to wait on it, or pick that prescription up if need be, and take it to another Pharmacy. Instead they wait until you drive there and then tell you they don't have it because they are out of stock and can't fill it.
