Great experience from start to finish. Girls are sweet and Dr Dixon handles my Chloe with kid gloves. Very busy but no long wait time...efficient and organized and pleasant waiting room, fully stockedwith food and fun.. Left with shots done, full exam, new vax tag and all paperwork. We are in Hilton Head on a part-time basis and recently needed vet attention for one of our dogs. She had a UTI and it could not wait until we returned home. I was able to get her a same day appointment at Hilton Head Vet Clinic and she received antibiotics. I am so grateful that she was able to be seen quickly. I would highly recommend them.

Dr. Michael and his staff are wonderful. They are kind and professional and get us into a room in a timely manner. My dog is very anxious and this is the first vet who has been able to trim his nails! I would highly recommend them!

I could hear my little wiener dog screaming and I ran out of the exam room to save him from a vet tech hurting his anal area with rough handling. Two minutes later the vet squeezed his anal glands with not even a squeak. Don't let the vet tech hurt your dog.A Wall Street consortium has bought this practice to add to the 150 they already own. Now the people who work for their bosses on Wall Street will do all they can to squeeze every last cent from you through deceit and hyperbole. Told by "Ashley" that they would not see my dog for his appointment the following day without a rabies shot I asked the price - $49, and how long the shot was good for - 3 years. The next day I looked at my bill and I called to ask Ashley why the shot they gave my dog was only good for one year and cost $10 less than she had quoted. She told me I was being disrespectful to ask these questions but I think because she was caught in a lie she was embarrassed. She denied being so and told me the vet would call me because she could not explain it to me.The vet called me today to tell me that now my dog needs to get another rabies shot next year and the year after that before the vet will use his 'medical discretion' to sell me the less expensive shot that lasts 3 years. It took insistence on my part but finally the vet admitted that there is only one rabies vaccine and it is up to him as to how many years he will say it's good for. I told him to be sure to inform Ashley as she is ignorant. In this regard.During this call he told me how my dog had done on his heartworm blood test when the only blood test I needed was for his liver enzymes to see if he could continue his previcox. I had had to argue strenuously at my appointment two months previously that since heartworm meds work in reverse and my dog had never missed a dose it would be literally impossible to have heartworms. The vet slipped that test in knowing how I felt - to make the bill as high as his owners require.Sure, no one likes being lied to but when it's done by a professional it seems worse.Two months earlier the staff told me with a straight face that it was "against the law" to sell me heartworm meds without an up-to-date rabies shot. Who in the world would believe that? When I told them it was not against the law ,the woman hopped up and said "I can't deal with her". She won't have to again.Find a vet who owns their business and makes their own common sense decisions, and one who isn't being told by Wall Street what tests to bilk the customer for.

I was at the Hilton head location. Went in because cat was shaking her head more than normal. Vet checked ears , gave drops, and also gave shots that I was coming back for in 2 weeks for to save time and money! Great service

Just moved here and needed a vet due to my dog getting sick. The clinic was able to get us in the same day and took loving care of my dog. My dog was really stressed upon entering the clinic and they were gentle and loving to him. Instantly made me feel at ease as well. Would highly recommend this clinic. They are awesome!!

If there were no stars, they would not have any. I had been taking my 2 dogs to the doctors there for 3+ years. One of dogs has a concurrent skin issue. On the last visit there, I had left the 2 dogs for boarding for 10+ days durning the Christmas holiday. I had given detailed instructions written and verbal for feeding. 7 days into the boarding, I received a phone call stating one dog had run out of dog food. How could this be?? There was plenty of supplies left for there stay. On my return, my dogs were not properly cared for, over fed, and skin allergies were much worse. After bringing these issues up to one of the doctors, he dismissed my concerns. His response to me was "we are the cheapest in the area and we are not a normal boarding facility that provides lavish care." What does this mean? This is my dogs vet, and told me they basically do the minimum care needed. Never will I take my dogs back to seek care or boarding. I would not recommend to anyone. No star rating for me.

So my vet here is trying to charge me $25 for a heart guard prescription pad so I don’t buy it from Chewy. This vet is the only one I know that requires we go pick up the papers and mail it ourselves. Funny thing is.. COVID… Yeah… $225 for nexguard and heart guard from here but $125 from chewy.com…. I pay $500 for two dogs each visit and you want $25 for me to go in person, pick up the mandatory prescription papers, then go mail it myself? Everything is digital now, stop scamming the older generation in Bluffton/Hilton Head

Took us on time. Vet is very knowledgable and explains what's going on with your pet. Prices seem high, but I have not checked what other vets charge. The do have a frequent customer discount, so that helps.
