Jamie and her staff are great. They treat our boys like their own.I let them do the total grooming because I can’t anymore.The shop is always clean!And the shampoos they use are good products.It’s also good to have a place that allows you to bath and groom your pet also.

Stopped in to discuss having my long haired German Shepherd groomed. Informed Jami that he is very skittish in new surroundings. She told me to bring him in at the end of the day, so that he was her last appointment. They were soooo good with him. They took their time to introduce themselves to him and let him get used to his new surroundings. They didn’t rush the process, taking breaks when he seemed to be getting a little anxious. Her price was very reasonable for the time and effort they put into removing his undercoat and making sure Bolo was comfortable. I could only get him to sit for a half hour whenever I bathed him. They worked with him for an hour and a half and took off about 10 pounds of undercoat. He looked phenomenal when they were done, and I think he knew it because he seemed to walk out with his head held high. I definitely recommend them and will definitely be bring my dog back to them…..

Awesome staff -very helpful. Tolerated my dogs excessive hair. Also attempted to trim his nails (which he doesn’t do well with) they succeeded to do one paw and returning next week for the others. More then anyone else has been able to do ! Definitely will be a regular

The owner is so sweet and accommodating. I took my foster Bigsby for his first ever groom and wasn’t sure how he would do, and she was so sweet and told me he was okay and welcome even if he did behave poorly (he didn’t tho!). If you have nervous dogs I 100% recommend taking them here because they’ll always work with you and won’t turn the dog away.

Extremely disappointing experience today after having a very positive previous experience a couple of months ago. I was excited and hopeful to find a reputable and reasonably priced groomer in this area. I called the owner, Jamie, yesterday to discuss cost of grooming my 22lb bichipoo mix and she stated cost of $65-$70, which was my absolute max since I’m paying $55 in Charlotte suburbs. I arrive at 0900 and the shop is not yet open and someone arrives shortly to open. Waited for Jamie to arrive to take a look at my dog to grab details but ended up having to discuss with other groomer since Jamie did not arrive by 0915. I arrive at 2:30ish to pick up my dog and he is shaved, a known possibility due to mats but also charged a dematting fee which was a bit surprising since no dematting is required if dog is cut close with clippers as he was. She mentioned something about their clippers getting dulled and the fee was for that. That is a cost of doing business when your business is Dog Grooming! They stated that they gave him a $20 oral flea medication without a phone call or authorization from me, despite him being on flea/heart worm preventative. Most reputable places would never give an animal a medication without contacting the owner for permission due to risk to the animal. So, my $65 dollar groom ended up being $100. Groom was basic as heavy use of clippers to take off most of his fur. Increased time with scissor work typically increases cost as expected but this was not done in this case. I have never been charged extra in this way before and certainly not without communication prior to it being done. It is fine to have business policies but they need to be clearly communicated to customers before the fact not afterward, especially when it increases the cost by 25%. I would NOT recommend this business for full dog grooming due to poor communication and pricing practices as well as potentially putting animals at risk giving oral medications without vet records or owner permission. The grooming was average at best with heavy clipper use and certainly nothing to justify the exorbitant surprise price structure.

Anyone looking for a groomers, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Dirty Dawg Pet Wash and Grooming! I had the best experience taking my puppy to get groomed for the first time! The owner was absolutely amazing and so was her assistant, Rachel. When I first walked in I felt immediately welcomed. I was asked many questions to make sure the groomer knew all the ins and outs of my pup which I loved and appreciated. They have a beautiful set up with four bathing areas, two being stations to wash your pup your self. They had one grooming table which is ran and done by the owner which I loved because it allowed for all of the attention to go to the puppy getting cut. My puppy, since it was her first time, needed me around and that was no problem for the owner. She cut her with me holding her and petting her to make sure me and my pup felt as comfortable as possible. Even during the cut, if i decided to change something in her cut or shape, she happily granted my request. The cutting experience was amazing. After, they were just as excited as I was to see my beautiful pup with her new haircut. They were so kind and accommodating to me and especially my puppy. I genuinely could go on and on about this place but then I would type forever. I couldn’t have ask for a better experience! Will be coming back!!!

This is the worst place to take you furry kids to. They leave your pets unattended on the tables risk for a strangulation and injuries. I witnessed a dog jump off when the technician walked away. My dog was infected with conjunctivitis from the filth and the lack of sanitary precautions. She also suffered a knee injury at the Dirty Dog the name fits the conditions of this establishment!

Friendly staff, great flexibility with scheduling. Sent me a short "progress" video of our dog that detests being bathed & groomed. Groomer devised a great solution to keep him calmer... a "happy hoodie." Basically a soft cloth wrapped around his head, which covered his ears. They went above & beyond. Highly recommend this grooming place!

I can't say enough great things about this place. I called ahead as my shepered was sitting in a creek and mud to make sure they weren't busy as she can be a little nervous and fearful in new situations.Jessica (I think) was so so so sweet and understanding and even said "it's okay if she's barkey, you guys are important too."When we arrived my girl was a lot better than I thought she would be and everyone was so sweet and welcoming. My shepered even allowed Jessica to pet her which is not her normal reaction.I had been here years ago when she was a pup, but after today's visit they have my business from here on out!!!!!

Took my two huskies in today for a bath, blowout, toenail trim and ear cleaning. They were so patient and great with my dogs. One of my pups even went to sleep in their very active shop. Every dog was handled with love, care and affection. Nice job Dirty Dog. My pups will be back.... but we will give you time to catch your breath.

I recently moved from Murrells Inlet to NMB and had to find a new groomer. My dog hadn't been to groomer in 2 months. Jamie did an amazing grooming on my pup, who is almost 15 years old. I will be a regular with them for sure. Already scheduled his next visit!

We need our Frenchie DaVinci washed while on vacation andy wife had just had surgery and had cancer removed and wasn't able to do it we looked this place up and we were blown away with their kindness and customer service highly recommend them for all your pet washing needs. Best grooming and pet washers in the beach area.

Seriously unbelievable facilities. The girls there were so helpful and friendly. I have two huskies and this was a first experience for me at a self-grooming dog salon. It was ridiculously easy, but well thought-out and user friendly. I tend to have issues with appliances and the staff was so patient with my awkward use.They let me spent as much time as I wanted and kept offering to help. These peopleLOVE DOGS!!It was a blast really. I loved having the opportunity to groom my babies with equipment that blew my mind with its efficiency.The dogs turned out better groomed than ever before. They had all the undercoat blown and bathed out and look amazing!!I loved this experience and will be a repeat customer.

We used wash your own dog, reasonably priced. Both the owner and the assistant were super nice. Great explanation of the wash equipment made our first time super smooth and really easy. I don't speak dog, but I felt like my dog was happy the whole time.

Our pups loved their bath at the Dirty Dawg Pet Wash. The Dirty Dawg was clean and it was easy to put the two little pups in the tub and wash them. They had several types of dog shampoo to select from and all of the equipment was easy to use. Friendly staff and a great service. We will be back.

Let me first say that my 4 year old Golden/German Shepherd mix is extremely nervous in new places, and around new people. I called Dirty Dogs today and they were able to get my baby in immediately! We walked in and my boy was immediately comfortable! Rebecca, who did his grooming, came over and got down on the floor with him. She was talking to him and petting him, making him (and me) very comfortable and relaxed. The whole experience was wonderful, and my Atlas looked and smelled amazing! I just bought a house in Conway, but I will definitely drive out to North Myrtle Beach to get my pups groomed by Rebecca! Thank you for a great experience!
