Definitely love bringing my dog here to get groomed by TAYLOR. She’s been grooming my dog since I got her. She’s always been calm and gentle with Meila. She treats Meila as if she’s her own and she’s very professional as well. I’ve never been disappointed at all from the experience from Taylor.

I come to this store quite often and I've never had a bad experience so far. I take my Rottweiler to get groomed sometimes when her fur gets wild and she loves going. I also love how organized everything is as well.

I have a 3 year-old Border collie/German mix. I typically take my dog to the Augusta Store for grooming but this location had an open spot on short notice. They notified me they were charging me a “special handling” fee prior to even taking my dog back because they stated my dog seemed hyper and also asked about his weight. I’ve never been asked that before and he’s been going to PetSmart for about 2.5 years nor have I been charged extra fees. It was apparent the groomer seemed to not be comfortable/accustomed to dealing with bigger dogs. I elected a Deluxe upgrade and it doesn’t seem like that was done. His teeth didn’t seem like they got brushed, no cologne scent noticed nor did he get the bandana like he typically would with that package. I would have brought these concerns up with the groomer upon pickup but she wouldn’t bring my dog out when I came to pick him up. Another groomer had to stop with the pup she was grooming to bring mine out. I’m glad the PetSmart app shows the groomers name because I won’t use that person anymore, if I ever consider going back to that location.

I am so upset and disappointed in the service we received from Taylor in the Grooming Salon on June 13, 2023. When I dropped off my 2 year Miniature Schnauzer named Onyx @ 9:30 am, I was told that it would take 3-4 hours. At 1:30, my husband and I came back to check on him but she said that he was bathed and dried, but had not had a chance to groom him. Unfortunately, it took almost 6 hours where he was caged in the kennel barking and scared. After 6 hours (around 3:00 pm) she rushed to cut him as I kept coming back to check him, since it was well beyond the quoted 4 hours timeframe.Onyx did not receive the haircut I wanted, after I showed her a picture and described what I wanted. Instead, he was scalped and nicked all over his body. Not only did Taylor not give me the haircut I asked for, but she cut his hair so close to his body that you can see his white skin underneath his black fur on his neck and around his ears. I asked for her to give him a low cut all over but and a rounded schnauzer face. But she cut his hair so low that he looks naked with and unfinished tire around his bottom part of his body. The schnauzer skirt that she tried to give him looks unblended and shaggy. Onyx, has marks on his left ear, and on his genitalia, his buttocks. Lastly, his left eye is extremely irritated.When she finally called to let me know that Onyx was ready to pick up, she informed me that he had bitten her when she was grinding his nails and she only did 3 paws instead of four. Of course I apologized immediately, because maybe he was trying to tell her that he had gotten hurt. However, she failed to mention that she had constantly cut him while grooming him. Needless to say, he will never return to this butcher shop and Taylor is the absolute worst groomer we have ever encountered!What a waste of $72! 😞

I went in looking for a coat but saw the sign for baths no appointments necessary. I went in to talk to my groomer Kaitlyn and she explained to me I was bathing Maggie too much. I was bathing her weekly and not drying her. Maggie has dry spots on her and I was also told that was probably from not drying her. The moisture builds up and causes this. Wow I learned a lot.I then left there and went in search of a coat where I was greeted by an employee who told me exactly where to look. They were out of size small girl coats so I bought a size small boys coat, she looks adorable. Bottom line is she is warm.

If your dog has undergone any type of treatment make sure you have clear proof when you *think* you're bringing that animal to the grooming area. Good luck finding all the fine print of their grooming restrictions. Absolutely disgusted after wasting my time 2x in oneday. Didn't realize I'd need to show proof or rabies vaax, first time dog owner. I understand the policy and that groomers have to enforce that. I returned with proof of the vaax, only to then be told they won't see the dog without a confirmation that she is heartworm free. Again, I understand all the policies, but how is someone supposed to just know all of the this or thats that will have them turned away and refused service, disgusting treatment. Also, how on earth do people have to jump through hoops to get a dog's nails trimmed? God only knows what other issues a person will have. I guess they need to see the full health file on every dog before a basic nail trimming service. Stupid. Better ask your vet for their files before you walk in for a casual nail trim. Also, the condescending tone of the groomers was just a cherry on top. "Have a good day" 🙄

My daughter took her Australian Shepard here for a shampoo, brushing and trim around the backend of him and when she picked him up they had completely shaved 3/4 of his body and shaved all but the tip of his tail like he was a poodle! This is so unacceptable! They tried to say he was too matted to do anything else but that is not true! He had a lot of areas that new fur had just grown back due to some surgeries he had and there was absolutely no reason for them to have done this except that the person doing this didn’t want to take the time to brush him out and decided to shave him instead!! The way they did this was unacceptable!! He has no way now to regulate his temperature!!!! I don’t think anyone would be happy about picking there pet up from the groomers and him being returned in this manner!!! This is so bad that all I could do was cry for this poor guy!!! The one photo is what he should look like!!!!!! The other two are the hatchet job that was done to him today!!!

Our cashier was a total gem! She was helpful and kind! The store was far better than Petco in Aiken. We have 6 new neon tetras 😍 They didn't have the Zebra snails we needed and the water test strips were very expensive but, I still give them 5 stars because they deserve it!

I went to the website and it said that I had to sign in for prices. So I created an account. Then it said that I had to create a profile for prices. So I did that the best I could since the cat took up here. Then it said to contact the store for prices. I called the North Augusta store and the girl told me that for a bath and brushing it would be around $70.00. THEN, AFTER ALL THAT, SHE INFORMED ME THAT THE NORTH AUGUSTA STORE DOESN'T DO CAT'S!!! NEEDLESS TO SAY, I WILL NEVER GO BACK IN PET SMART AGAIN! CUSTOMER SERVICE ONLINE WAS VERY NICE, BUT WHY DIDN'T THEY TELL ME? You find this at a lot of places. Customer Service is great, but when you deal with the business in person, they SUCK!!!!!

Had an issue with the grooming department at PetSmart in Aiken which was immediately remedied in North Augusta by the salon manager, Katelyn. They recognized my dog in North Augusta and took good care of her.

I have two Australian Shepherds who go to Petsmart North Augusta for grooming. They like it and are happy to go back, which has not been the case with other grooming salons. I like the professional grooming that they receive. One has a particularly heavy coat, which the groomer laughingly describes as "epic". And it is! Nevertheless, she does a fantastic job and I have two beautiful dogs as a result of the grooming services there.

The groomers are disrespectful and like to tell you what to do with your dog when all you came for was a hair cut like you don’t know how to take care of your dog. I didn’t even get the haircut I asked for and they cut my baby save yourself time and money go somewhere more professional.

My experience yesterday evening was phenomenal. It’s a priceless gift when anyone willingly helps us unprompted and whenever helpful professional strangers go to great lengths to make us feel as though we matter it can be a game changer. We can be reasonably assured that genuinely kind, considerate associates who eagerly and willingly share their knowledge with us also treat great numbers of people in their orbits with that level of care or better. And that’s money well spent. Suddenly the brand takes on new meaning. They worked to make my process effortless. They’re among the kindest people I’ve ever met in my lifetime. We absolutely love taking trips to petsmart! My dogs love to go see the little “squirrels” they have 😂. They love squirrels….. I personally appreciate the fact that I can place an order online and have it brought out to my car. Very convenient.

Not worth the money I paid and asked repeatedly for them to trim the hair under lady my beagle nails and they failed me the Athens ga location did better new to the area and I won't be back !!! Here's a picture of all the hair sticking out of her paws which she is chewing on so I'm not impressed and won't be taking her back there

All of the employees were very nice and helpful. I went in looking for a betta fish and left with almost everything I needed. They were pretty low stock on alot of items, but I got probably 90% of the items I was looking for. Also, I got a beautiful new Betta fish, they all looked healthy and happy.

This review is based on my experience with the grooming department. They did not stay in contact with me and had to call multiple times to see about picking my dogs up, my dogs were extremely off when I picked them off, they weren’t as clean, trimmed or nails cut like they should’ve been, and was charged $40 extra because they said my dogs have them a hard time. I’ve never had a hard time with any groomer as I’ve heard nothing but amazing things when picking them up. I will never use this service with this company ever again. I didn’t hear good things from other customers or online so I should’ve listened to them.

After going to two different stores and calling every where.looking for birds for my daughter. Nobody had them. There is a male named Adam who works here and he is the worse!! I was waiting to pick up my dog and he was screaming at a perfecting still good dog! He has cut my labordoodle and said she was no longer to come back because she growled at him. That’s a complete lie she has been there several times and never any problems! This man needs to go!!!!! He does not treat your dogs right at all!! I will be reporting him to the manager and head quarters!! Everyone else there is great but Not Adam!! If anyone else has experience this please report him as well he is not nice!!
