Unfortunately this Kroger location is going downhill faster and faster. The store stinks when you walk in, it is visibly dirty all throughout the store, the bathrooms are the worst, the employees are rude with the exception of a few young men who work the front and GP (sweet/helpful lady at the Self checkout).Tonight (8:30), the only available options were the self checkout lanes. Several of us with our groceries for the week were having to utilize this. We had 95 items to scan, while this is not a problem so much with two of us, one scanning and one bagging, it is time consuming. The bags are falling apart or either you cannot separate them while trying to bag your items so that's additional time.Sad thing is there were three ladies, two were in the motorized wheelchairs and the third was not. Luckily the one was not so she could bag for them because if not, after we were finished we were going to help them. Not one employee came over to open a register nor did they offer to help them.I see from previous reviews we are not the only disappointed customers. We have also sent several emails over the past year with no response. Perhaps, someone will start taking accountability and responsibility or at least we can hope so.

Unfortunately there have been several occasions with rude employees. Don't ask for help because they'll roll their eyes and act like you are bothering them. Ladies at customer service are not friendly at all. My husband and I were standing in line not even paying attention to what the employee and customer were doing. We were having our own conversation. The employee told us to back up we were too close. We did this and I said to my husband that nobody has ever said anything before( I get it's for privacy, but I always have people standing next to me and nobody says a word) and the employee rudely says "well the lines starts down there." That's when I noticed the sign that states to stand there. New sign, never seen it before. She didn't have to be rude. I was talking to my husband about not seeing the sign before and that it must be new, I didn't say anything to her. Honestly I wasn't paying attention to how close we were, because my husband and I were talking about other things. It wasn't intentional. Another time an item rang up wrong. Sign stated buy rotisserie chicken and get Pepsi mini cans for $1.00. Rang up $1.00 off. I showed the lady at customer service the sign stating for $1.00, no where did it say $1.00 off. She told me I was wrong and it was $1.00 off. Manager did fix it, but it was a very unpleasant experience. The employees need more customer service training. Customers shouldn't be made to feel like they are bothering the employees by asking questions and it wouldn't hurt to be a little friendlier. I have always loved shopping at Kroger, but lately I feel like the attitudes of the employees have been off.

I enjoyed going to this Krogers. Yesterday, on 03/18/2024, I had an unfortunate incident. The clerk overseeing the self checkout lines, located near the pharmacy, was rude when I had problems checking out. The self checkout machine was malfunctioning and the clerk took it out on myself, a customer. Furthermore, the grocery bags were set up wrong making it difficult to retrieve one. They were all stuck together and could not be separated. You would think the clerk overseeing the self-checkout machine would have done something about this beforehand. Instead, she was just smug and rude. It was a very unfortunate and frustrating visit I hope to not have to go through again. One final thought, where is the manager of the store in all this???

Cayla at the seafood and fresh meat counter was very pleasant & very efficient! Nice to talk to & made the visit excellent!

This Kroger almost never has my pickup order ready in the timeframe they say. They will also wait till you are either on the way to get the order, or sitting in the parking lot waiting to call and let you know it won’t be ready for another hour or so, and even sometimes till the next day. My bet is it is due to poor management, because for a long time we did not have this problem, but for the last half year or so it has been an issue, so I know it can be done in a timely manner, but someone is dropping the ball.

Displays block every aisle, too many personal shoppers blocking aisles, front door theft alarm sounds every 2-3 minutes, bathrooms are filthy, and self checkout requires assistance every minute or so.

I usually like Kroger as a grocery store. This time was a true shock and a disappointment. Had to use the restroom as I was passing through town, just to find out it was not only dirty but truly filthy, yuck 🤑. The toilet was dirty but the walls gave me the impression they have not been washed in years 😡. Come on Kroger I expect better of you.

If I left a review a few weeks ago it would have been 5 stars but lately I’ve been doing the pick up (they offer good coupons with pick up only). Every week I’ve had to go back/request refunds because they’ve left out multiple items. Usually around $30 refund.I hope they have a system that doesn’t over load them when shopping that causes them to have to go so fast and miss items. Management should really look into this so these employees aren’t pushed past their limits. By no means am I blaming anyone because I do appreciate the pick up option and I do understand mistakes happen but it’s become pretty consistent.

I shop here at least three times a week for my business and at home. Lately, going in after 9 is not the way to go. Always seems to be a young lady named Akira working the only lane open. If she had no customers she is laid out on the table on her phone. When you walk up, she acts like you just disturbed her peace. Rolls her eyes and says nothing. Then, she acts like she doesn't want to bag your groceries. They're not paying me to do it. If that's the case, I'll go through checkout and do it myself. There needs to be a night manager around. And not one who wants to flirt with everyone.

I can't say much about this Kroger besides they had a huge selection of items, stayed open passed 12am, and had the candy I wanted to buy. I haven't been to South Carolina's Krogers besides this one but they seem similar to the ones in Georgia so there is that. I was happy with my experience and would come back when back in Augusta in Georgia or South Carolina.

Stopped at this store while traveling. This is the first Kroger I’ve ever been to and I really liked it! I liked how clean the store was and the vast selection. The staff was also friendly.My one critique is the store should have tap payment options. Otherwise the store is great!

Apparently they are taking lessons from Walmart. Bought blackberries and strawberries 2days ago. Both have already gone moldy. Called this morning and no dept, including customer service will answer. Not manager, nothing. Can't leave a message. The day I went the bathrooms were completely out of everything, a employee was in a handicapped cart laying down and using her feet to steer with. It was on the dirty side. What the hell happened?

Great store! I swear they've got the fastest people working the pickup area. And their pharmacy staff is very dedicated and willing to help you get refills from your doctor's office. Nice!!

I enjoyed shopping at this North Augusta store. Theybakery always have fresh cakes, bread and croissants daily. They have the best deli meats. They also have important sweet cheese that I enjoy as a snack . I also enjoy their sales. They staff is very nice and assistance me when in need of assistance. I will continue to shop at Kroger.

I’ve never had a issue with Kroger. Employees always nice. I’ve been a customer for years but employee in Pharmacy this morning was so rude and unprofessional. Complained to management but seem to careless stating employees at the pharmacy ain’t with them but isn’t KROGER pharmacy? If only I could’ve gave ZERO stars! Do better KROGER!

I frequent Krogers all the time, great customer service and the store for the most part, except the rest rooms. Almost every time we've gone to Krogers this year the bathrooms are filthy. Come on with all the business you need to do better.

11/15/2022 went to the store got in by 10:56 pm before closing one of the reps blocked my sister with arms out bumping her saying they were closed, they allowed us to get our items as I couldn't find the salad shrimp the manager on duty as I was told told me I had to take my items to the front and checkout I said okay may you please help me find it so that I can get to the front he kept repeating we're closed head to the front and would not help me then another employee bombarded and said if we don't close the registers at 11pm the police will come so I gathered my party as we headed to the front they had closed down the registers we could not purchase our items. In all the 25 years of customer service that I have the way tat they handled closing on this night was incorrect. If you have customers in the store at the front we should have been able to purchase our items as we were still in the store. Money lost for this business and they were standing around like they did not care about their jobs this behavior needs to be addressed by the store and district manager and training needs to be addressed especially when it comes to servicing the public everything is on camera and I also filmed as well

You can't find frozen turnips with roots anymore nor frozen okra. Had to purchase turnips then buy roots separately . Had purchase fresh okra. But I tried 2 Walmart 's and Food Lion & they didn't have nothing at all.What's with the lack of turnips and the root and lack of okra in these other stores.Oh use to have vegetables for soup in frozen section. None of the 4 places I shopped that day had it. Have they been discontinued!

They're horrible. They'll search your buggy 2-3 times before you leave. If you get tired of it & refuse they'll call the police just to be shown you didn't steal them they'll trespass YOU. I shopped there 4 times a week, spending thousands a month, but I guess my looks were all some seen. Horrible management.

I have to say how much I admire your cashier Anita at the NA store. I watched her be so patient and attentive to some older customers ahead of me in line. She had a smile the whole time. We need more Anita’s in this world !!

We've been using Kroger's order online and pickup services for over 2 years now and the service staff have all been positive and helpful. Several times they had to work in the rain but they keep a positive attitude. I'd be willing to pay extra if it meant a wage increase for these workers.
