If you are looking for an excellent quality dog food that is affordable, go to Country Boy Farm & Yard. Employees are very helpful and friendly. Very competitive prices. They are closed on Sunday and only open until noon on Saturday, so plan accordingly. Over the years I’ve gotten chicks from them that have all thrived. Just recently I was able to get a couple of Lavender Orpington Pullets that are beautiful and so loving! Sometimes they also have youth/adult roosters, hens, & turkeys. They are located across the street from the highway department, closer to the light.

Been here since I was a child and thought this was a better company than what I thought all these years. I when to pick up 12 chicks on Friday and now they’re all dropping dead because of an illness. They will not refund my money. It’s not the amount that matters it’s the principal.

I will never buy another thing from Country Boy. They shamelessly charged me DOUBLE price for 2.5 gallons of herbicide. I did not realize that until after I left and looked into it because the price seemed crazy high. I don’t know how places like this think they’re going to stay in business price gouging loyal customers. Country Boy had lost my business forever.

They are nice and polite laughing.I purchased a few plants for small beagle' planters, yellow cana lilies and 50lb garden soil.. I really need to ask someone to help me get that 50 lb bag of top soil in vehicle. I'm 72.

I love this place! My supplies are always available and in stock. I never leave with one item. I love stopping by to take a look at the new chickens and goats. Country boy is the best place for your all around garden and pet needs. The atmosphere was lovely with the outdoor smells of feed and livestock.

Polite, professional, quick service and if they don’t have it, they can get it! Don’t go to a corporate if box store. Shop family owned businesses locally! I’ve purchased chicken and rabbit feed, hay, straw, own materials, and garden plants from these good folks. Give them a visit!

What a great experience was this for me. It raised my belief in humanity. What a beautiful soul Mr. Melvin had. I came in hoping that I could purchase some biddies aka chicks to bring back home(Jersey). Mr. M told with they would not make the trip. I was so hurt but part of me knew this but I wanted them and said to him, can you think of a way for me to get them there? He said "nope, I could sell them to you but I know they won't make the trip." Thank you Sir for your honesty.

I love country boy. Their hay is always good. Their straw is always good and is sold at the best prices (compared in North Augusta, Allen, and Augusta). They offer a wide selection of flowers. Their horse food is better priced than Tractor Supply Company and their staff is always helpful and friendly and efficient...Can't beat'em....

I've been dealing with country boy farm for around 30 years they're always well stocked Marvin has been a great asset to this company like everything you buy you can get a better deal or online but when you need it and you need it now country boys is one of the best places to go

I went in the store today to purchase straw which is exactly what I asked for and was charged for by the lady at the counter, who I believe is the owner. My husband had it loaded on the truck by someone who told him it was straw, when I got home we had hay. Problem is I was not informed of this! I called the store to tell them and they informed me that I got hay because that’s all they had. Hay is feed, straw is bedding! There is a difference and the choice should have been mine whether I wanted it or not.

Friendly staff, they really go the extra mile for you, no matter if your a little buyer ( I get 1 bale of hay per week) or a huge one (stables/farms) they treat you like part of the family!!! I wouldn't go anywhere else, ever!!!

Bought centipede seed their in August they it was not to late to plant. Well zero came up. I tried to see if they stand behind there seed today they gave me some instructions that states see should only be planted in spring or in winter after grown is cold. They said i must have planted too deep i disc up grown and bearly covered it with my rake. I am very disappointed they didn't want to accept and responsibility for telling me it was ok to plant in mid August. If they would have gave me planting instructions when i frist was buying the seed based on them saying it was i could have read it was not ok. $120 totally wasted based on thier advice beware ( the don't back up their product or in this case thier word) hard education but lesson learned don't buy here or take thier advice on plantings you don't do regularly.

Mostly buy Diamond Naturals Dog Food and they have always been very helpful. The dog food is cheaper here than anywhere else and they usually have someone carry it to your car for you.

The hay quality has been getting worse and worse over the past few months.Today I show up right as they're closing and let them know that I'm out of hay.They wouldnt sell me one square bale to get me though till tomorrow, even though I've spent hundreds of dollars on the low quality hay. That was enough to make me find another place for my farm needs.
