It's a good thing some grocery chains still make an effort to serve rural communities, so I applaud The Pig for that. The downside is that prices are much higher on many items because incremental operating costs are higher at low volumes. Rural communities are much poorer than their suburban counterparts yet they are being asked to pay more for the same groceries. There has to be a better solution.

Very clean and welcoming store ever. The crew will literally do whatever it takes to help you. My favorite is the meat department. Cody will make sure the meat is exactly what's asked for. Even if it takes a little longer he will bring it to you as you are doing the rest of your shopping. He is dedicated with everything from the perfect meat,, customers requests, and the price of the product is clearly recognizable, and even cleanliness. I haven't been able to find all of those things anywhere else. Also his personality is amazing. Always leaving me and I'm sure many others are very satisfied with a smile and a brighter day. Amazing employee. A wonderful grocery store.

Bought 3 tbone steaks yesterday. All of them were rank. One bad steak happens. 3 bad steaks is not a good look for the meat manager.

Drove from Prosperity to 96 just to go shopping here. It's one of the only Piggly Wigglys left. All the ones in our county closed and Food Lion replaced. I was not let down. The food prices and quality were as always... great! I just hate to drive that far, but I will. Also I can't leave out that the hometown customer service was wonderful as well. Friendly and helpful as usual! Please open a Piggly Wiggly back up near me!

Small town feel. Not a huge selection. Only what regulars have asked for. Has your basics. They do still load your groceries up and take them out and put in car for you. Thats a nice touch somedaysAll the workers are local kids mostly and are very well.mannered. The meat is the best part. Excellent cuts and the cheapest prices out of anyone around. Always my go to for all my meat. They do close at 7 during winter and 7:30 in summer. So keep that in mind if you plan on visiting.

I hate this I'd the only grocery store in ninety six everytime I shop here something is wrong. The people are never freindly and if you do have questions or concerns the manager just sits in the the pit at the front of the store staring at you with disgust never says anything just Stare at you. I brought some seafood from here and when I took it to the cashiers not only did she State the the food stink to high heaven she assured me if I had any concerns they would not care . The Month before that I brought 2 lunch able for my kids and opened it to see the cheese had mold in both package and the first time shopping there I brought milk with good expiration date and 2 days later it was sour . I just drive the extra 20 mins to Walmart I really wanted to keep the support in my own town but this last vist exceeded my boundaries especially because I realize my complexion on my skin really was not going to help

A horrible experience every time . You walk in the door cigarette Smoke will literally cause you to cough. People are very nice. I have repeatedly complained about employees smoking inside back of store instead of going outside. I thought there was an no smoking ordinance inside grocery stores. Also like the lady above said you better check the dates on stuff. It’s like no one cares. Produce looks really rough at times. We have brought this to their attention several times. I talked to both lead people in store they really just look at you and you can tell nothing is going to get done. Back when Steve and Danny ran the store is was a great store. They cared about our Community getting good fresh food and vegetables. They seemed to care about the store. I tried to shop to benefit local business but there is a limit of my tolerance to this. My grand child coughed all during my visit here Wednesday January 25 around 2-3 pm in the day. We need our store have guild lines to up hold. What will happen to customers if this continues… a good amount of the employees smoke there. That’s their preference, their life, and their business. When I can’t breath and taste smoke from 2nd Hand Smoke from someone else that’s my 2 yr old grand child’s health and my own! That’s a problem!I choose to have a clean environment to shop in! And from what others that don’t stand up for themselves, you may regret it later.

Piggly Wiggly to the rescue! I needed one item, at the last minute. It was a little more than I'm used to paying, but they had it and that's what counts. The store is clean and the people are very helpful and nice.

Just not the same store, it once was. Such small selection of anything now. No variety. Guess I should be glad we even have a grocery store at all here in 96. All of the youngsters working there are very polite.& If you go during the day you can usually find someone in the butcher dept.

The store looks great! The upgrade is awesome,what a wonderful selection of items to choose from! The prices didn't go too high either. I love all the new stuff they are carrying. Theshelves are so much better stocked n can actually find stuff now! A few of the employees are really nice n always very willing to help with anything!

I love shopping in this store, the always have some of the best prices on meats. They usually have a good selection of items in their store. The associates are always nice and speak...It is one of the best small home town grocery stores....

I'm Big on the Pig. Glad to see Piggly Wiggly still open somewhere. This location is clean and they are trying to keep it viable but the franchise is unfortunately going away. Go support this location. It's a good one and they have great service!

Expensive for such a limited selection and often poor produce, but it's close and does one pinch (if Dollar General, Shell, or Family Dollar doesn't have what I need) so I dont have to drive to Greenwood or Coronaca.
