Located off 248 on State St in downtown Ninety-Six, you’ll find this hidden gem. I’ve had a craving for a pimento cheese burger and wanted to go for a ride on the bike and ended up here. It’s truly a place that’s set up like a hole-in-the-wall place…but don’t let that deter you. Plenty of parking.Let’s get into the food…everything is a la carte..but it’s well worth it. Pimento Cheese Burger was excellent and huge. Can tell the pimento was made in-house and the burger has excellent seasoning to it.Second thing I had…a chili dog..but if you don’t tell them that you want the wiener aka hot dog..it’ll come without it..the chili was sweet and tangy and no beans..which is a huge plus.I’m from the North originally…I love a good gravy cheese fries.All in all…this is a great place with friendly staff and will give 9/10.Parking: Tons of parking on both sides. Handicap area in the front.

Something tasty and different off the beaten path -- the hamburgers are delicious and messy, and the chili dogs have a distinctive meaty "chili" mix I have yet to find elsewhere. The hamburger steak is absolutely fantastic with the grilled onions, mushrooms and gravy. Friendly staff and welcoming small-town atmosphere. Note that it's presently cash-only, but they give generous portions for the price.

A very tasty and delicious cheeseburger! However, I really couldn’t eat it or pick it up without the burger falling completely apart. Besides that it was a very good cheeseburger! The chili cheese fries, not so much! The fries weren’t seasoned, didn’t really get chili, just unseasoned ground beef & shredded cheese. Very disappointing. The burger was best part of the meal. Definitely worth a visit if your hungry and wanting a good cheeseburger.

Man this is a great burger. We got the double, this is a big guy. It will fill you up to the top. Half hand half onion rings and tots and you won’t need anything else. Great place. It has been here since 1971. 51 years of grease is where the flavor is coming from. They use real meat, making hand rolled patties.

Come for the burgers, not the friendly service. We stopped here twice during our trip to Lake Greenwood SP. The burgers are very good and worth the trip. (10 min from SP) The counter staff seemed disinterested, at best. 2 different people went in to order and both came away with the same feeling. Burgers were big and prices were great. Fries were ok. Fresh cut fries and friendly staff and this place could be huge!

If I could give them no star I would first I get there she forgot my poppers I said can take it off the bill if you not giving them to me and they forgot it I told her Order four times on the phone she gonna tell me sorry we forgot how did you forget I ordered it you charging me for it than said we’re trying catch up on orders now than get home my plates horrible hamburger burnt dried out always loved this place not anymore

Great food with fast and friendly service. Prices are very reasonable also, only drawback is the food is so good it's easy to overeat.Parking: Large lot right beside the restaurantKid-friendliness: Kids can get a cheeseburger pic to color and they will hang it up so they can see it on their next trip.

These are the best burgers I have ever tasted. Pattied right then and there when you order. The French fries and tots were perfection! The staff was nice and checked in on the meals. Please try and make it here. We drove 40 minutes and it was well worth it. Keep up the good work! Check out the pictures posted.

I been eating at Johnny's since I was in my teens, stopped by today and ordered three cheeseburgers, I was shocked at the price! Almost twenty dollars for three burgers, and way too much mayonnaise! And they didn't offer napkins, not the same as when Johnny run it, it's under new management. They no longer have up front pricing, like most everyone else, price gouging, it was a to go order, next time I go thru Ninety Six I'm going to keep on going, I'm done with Johnny's cheeseburger house. Saddens me to see this happening! Johnny I miss you and the way you ran your business!

Ate here for lunch on our way to Ninety Six Star Fort. It was the first hamburger my mother has ate in a restaurant in over 20 years and she absolutely loved it. Each one of us loved the burgers so much, I even saved the very last bite of food to be the burger. They are definitely made with love and care by the chef. She was happy to be at work, she even was singing and dancing while cooking up our burgers. She had the radio turned up loud enough we can hear and the chef and my mother danced and sang together to the songs. It was a great atmosphere, with kind people and good food.
