Dr. Von is the best vet ever, in my opinion. He and his staff were our biggest and best support with our Sadie. The compassion and love that they had for her and the rest of our babies plus us as a family. If you need the best vet ever and don't call them, you will be doing a disservice to yourself and your fur babies.

Honestly the most caring vet I've ever been to. I've been to countless different places & had the worst possible experiences. Experiences so bad you're scared to leave your animals. But on the contrary, PET Care of Newberry exceeded any & all expectations. I treat my animals like they're my children & they do as well.

I adopted a sweet abandoned kitten through Saving Saluda Strays. Pet Care of Newberry gave him all the necessary medical treatment - age appropriate vaccines, deworming, and a few weeks later, I returned him for neuter. He is a lovely kitty and he received loving care while in Pet Care. They believe he had been hit by a car before being abandoned.Excellent clinic, staff and care

I called to make an appointment for my pet and I was caller number one in queue on hold for 31 minutes. I hung up called back and the lady answered the phone right away and then said that they had a lot of check-ins for surgery. She didn't say sorry for the long wait. I needed to make appointment for shots, nails and ears to be done. She advised the next appointment would be 2 weeks out. After advising her that my pet can't wait that long for her nail trim she said to bring her the next day. And I don't know why my baby is shaking her head all the time. I guess we will have to wait 2 weeks and hope she doesn't get a hematoma from all the head shaking. I like bringing my baby to Dr Von because he is a caring vet but I am disappointed in how my situation was handled.

I can't thank Pet Care of Newberry enough for all they did for me and my Wyatt. It was one of the worst days a pet owner has to go through. The entire staff was beyond comforting and helpful during the whole process. I even recieved an email with resources about grief and their loving words. I also recieved a card in the mail with love and condolences. ❤️

Love our new vet. The only thing I have to complain about. Is there extremely small parking lot. But the way the doctors and staff interact with the animals makes up for it. They do not mind when our pup jumps and tries to lick them to death.

Hello, this was my first visit to this veterinarian. A month ago an appointment was set up to get my five month old kitten spayed. The receptionist was so nice, polite and patient with me as I asked a lot of questions. I arrived after 8am and people were coming in back to back and the employees kept their composure and calmness at all times. They sent a text after the surgery to let me know my Sofie was doing fine. I cried when I dropped her off because it felt like I was leaving one of my children behind. When I went back to pick her up, the young lady took her time explaining everything that took place, the medicine, instructions and what to look for that would raise a red flag. When I bent down, looked into the crate and Sofie heard my voice, her mild purring, eyes fixed on me as she tried to stand up made me smile. Its three days later and yesterday she played a little bit more and ate pretty good. I received a phone call Wednesday because they wanted to know how Sofie was doing. That to me is priceless. Thank you PetCare for taking care of my new addition to the family. May the Lord continue to bless you all. I do recommend your service to pet owners 🌟🌟🌟🌟

Horrible experience - called to as if they were open and asked if they took new patience - I was informed they don’t take walk-ins I asked for an appointment and was told that they were not taking new patients and that I could be added to a waiting list for when a spot becomes available.I will continue taking my dog to Irmo - what is one to do when all Newberry vets don’t accept new business 😔

We were visiting from out of state and my dog required an emergency visit. I called the vet and they were immediately able to see him, within minutes. The staff was incredibly professional and shared a genuine concern for my pet. The cost wasn’t nearly what I expected, so an added bonus on a great experience with this office.

My precious, Daisy was treated for an ear infection today. I was very impressed with the service I received, from the receptionist, the veterinarian asstistant and the Veterinarian. I felt they did their utmost to keep my little dog comfortable and well cared for. Dr. Wilkie was great in explaining everything she was doing and what to expect in the next few days. Instead of overwhelming my sick dog with her annual shots, she was thoughtful in suggesting they be done when she comes in to have her ears rechecked in two weeks, when she is feeling better. The exam room and waiting room were clean and tidy. Their appointments were punctual. Their price were reasonable. The best thing was you felt like they really cared for your pet and weren't just all about making money. I am so relieved to finally find a good animal hospital and a caring Veterinarian.
