For a company that pays $500,000 for a ceo the prices at this Goodwill reflect that. I had over $30 worth of items and one did not have a price tag. They refused to sell it. It's a coffee mug! 99 cents maybe. I waited in line for 15 minutes. One cashier while a lady just stood there beside her . I handed everything back . I refuse to contribute to a organization like this. They are nonprofit but need to be taken off that list. Everything they get is FREE including from Target, Ross etc. Tax right offs . They will have a come back of we help the community bla bla bla. I have yet to see this. They employee people at the bare minimum wage while the higher ups eat well.

This store needed to be more organized, far as just items go they look to have been thrown on the shelf. The floors looked very dirty as well as some of the clothes and items that had not been cleaned. Idk if they just take the items as they come in and throw them on the shelves or they do anything with them or not. To me presentation would sell the items, instead of just filthy items laying on the shelves.

One of the cleaner, well organized Goodwill locations I've been to recently. However - what other reviewers has said is true. I had a vintage Cabbage Patch doll in my hand from the floor and they couldn't find a price tag on it and said I could not buy it - that I would have to come back later to buy it once they put it out on the floor. I offered $10 - but the cashier freaked out and acted like I'd tried to bribe her, that she was on camera, etc. I said I wasn't trying to do anything shady - just to pay the store!! Then they took the item in the back and came back with a $17.99 price tag. They could tell it was valuable and it had slipped through, so they went in the back to look it up. Was an unpleasant experience!!

Dropped items off in the back of the store & was informed they didn't take drop offs in the rain. It would have been nice to know this "made up" rule before we brought our stuff there. This will be my last drop off at Goodwill.

When y’all put prices on stuff animals and there more than .50 or a dollar that’s what to much for used stuff animal I was going to buy one yesterday but for 3 .00 I said heck no they should never be over a dollar y’all get things for free and the prices are getting higher and higher on things a used cup too 3 dollars is crazy

This store is a joke they had Pyrex with a price tag & when I got to register they said oh no we can’t sell this it has to go to the back and refused to sell it to me, this happened to me once before with a pair of shoes same location

If these employees noticed you have something of value they say they can’t sell it to you even if it has a price tag on it we will never be back once she noticed we had some dishes she refused to sell them to us

I am truly amazed at the comments stating that this store is cluttered and unorganized?! This is hands down one of the cleanest, most organized and friendly Goodwill stores I have been in!!! I am a reseller so I visit MANY Goodwills and other thrift shops, so I am very familiar with how they can look! If you are in the area and looking to shop at a Goodwill, I highly recommend this store!! I don’t live in Newberry and have no connections to this store other than my recent visit. This store will not disappoint!

Prices are too high for donated items. If prices are lower they would sell more items and obviously make more money to help more people.I've seen items there that still had the original price tags on from the 1st store and Goodwill s pricing was higher than the original.Also items I've seen that came from Dollar Tree for $1.25 and Goodwills price was twice that.

This was a smaller store. Not much of a selection for my wife, but I did get 5 pairs of men's shorts for $17.

Every single employee that works here is very disrespectful. I went in there and wasn't treated with respect . Sandra gave us extreme attitude and YELLED at my mom while attending another customer. I would have talked to the manager but last time we did talk to the manager she was “unable” to do anything. I have had very bad experiences coming into this goodwill. I will no longer be shopping here and will try and spread this to any and everyone I know of. If I could give this Goodwill zero stars, I would.

Employees be trying to correct my 4 year old and I be present trying to train him then I had a staff tell me he was glad my son was taken out of the store because it got on his nerves, I had to correct the employee also.. My son get overly excited about the toys. He doesn't try to destroy or be disrespectful. He is a toddler and staff need to stay in their place.

Great selection! Friendly, helpful employees! Wouldn't hurt to have another cashier there though...just a thought... or a strong suggestion... lol :) not a deal breaker though. I will be back!.. soon. :)

I just got yelled at by an employee across the parking lot for putting items in the donation box (literally yelling at me). I had 4 small boxes with clothes, kitchen items and toys. I did not realize only clothing went into this donation box.. We'll be taking our donations to a local church, where they are friendly and actually help people from now on. No more GOODwill after the BADwill from today.

A couple of months ago, I was greeted by the rude worker as I was trying to donate blankets, clothes and other items. He made a comment that they didn’t take donations if it was raining. My previous visit he was mad I asked for a receipt and said it was junk. One other visit he was mad I asked for help with a heavy box. Since this was the third time, I told him to get the manager. I was able to speak with the manager about the horrible customer service you get when you are trying to donate. I will never go back because I just don’t need Goodwill trying to make me feel bad about trying to help. I will find another place to donate items in the future. Stay away rain or shine!

Very bad customer service. Went and with my three boys so they could pick out a toy. As they are picking out a toy the lady comes over the intercom to make an announcement that kids should not be playing with toys while they are looking through them and that to please keep your kids with you at all times as I'm standing right there with them. I immediately grabbed the kids and go to th the front and ask her why she is making the announcement if I am the only one with kids in the store and I am right there with them. They are looking through the toys so they can pick out which one they want.she tells me that a customer said something to her mind you we haven't been in the store a total of 5 minutes and no one has walked from where I was standing to the front to say anything. I tell the lady that I don't appreciate her making my kids feel like they are a nuisance when they are looking at toys to spend money in their store. She says nothing else so not even a apology. Will not be returning there ever againAnd it's a shame because we used to go there all the time

I'm so thankful for the bad experience I had at Goodwill. I asked the donation attendant for help, he said he didn't have to [censored] listen to me, I asked him if that's how he talks to all customers, and he told me to go to [censored]. There was no manager on duty, the phone number was disconnected, the regional office was not helpful, and this matter was unacceptable. Overall I'm very thankful that this location helped me realize: I will NEVER donate to or shop at Goodwill again. Thanks y'all!

Whoever the frizzy haired lady was who closed today august 12th told me and my sister she was not checking us out at 7:56. We came in and literally grabbed what we were there for and she was loud for no reason refusing service at 7:56. Whatever, no wonder nobody in town likes to donate to this location.

i shop this place at least once a week. their prices on some items are great, but others are waaaaay overpriced. recently i wanted to purchase some bangles and they had several, but were asking $3.00 per "bracelet". tried to explain to them that a bangle is by definition NOT a bracelet but they would not back off their insane price. i went to wallmart and bought a set of 18 for $4.88. The same number of bangles at Goodwill would have cost me $54.00 ... The person who waited on me said she didn't even know what a bangle is. if you are going to sell an item at least know what it is before you ask a crazy high price. I shop a LOT so I know my prices!!!

The employees are very nice. This election is very poor and sloppily displayed the prices are ridiculous when I pick something off the shelf and I know it's from the dollar store you know where you buy stuff for a dollar and it cost to 2 99 on your shelf shame on you

Depending on the one u go to,where i live,was very disappointed by there pricing, and ,the personnel basically, acting as u put all 15 price tags on the toys,waiting for the man in back to confirm, he priced them.smhVery sorry Rude Place..

Whoever decides the prices on stuff here needs to be slapped. This is a thrift store not a retailer! Lots of beat up stuff here labeled for very close to new prices. Sometimes I'll find something decently priced but not usually

Over priced on some items...some items have defects and should be thrown away. Need more people on the register when they have a long line at the register....to long waiting in line...geesh.

They're prices may have gone up some, Tuesday senior day is a great day to go...very friendly, helpful and fun.
