Wish I took a photo but they have a very nice restaurant on the I side with super cheap prices. The food is amazing! I got a steak sandwich and it was absolutely amazing. The people working behind the counter were so sweet too! Would definitely recommend stopping here along your journey

I've probably driven past this place a dozen times traveling to my in-laws. Finally decided to stop and check it out. We've said several times, "A Pig? With a restaurant? We've got to try that!" Yesterday was the day. The menu is about what you would expect for a rural country diner. Hot dogs, burgers, corn dogs, chicken salad sandwiches...the like. I had the hot dog plate. Two dogs with chili and onions and fries and a soft drink. $5.88? And it was good. Everything we had was good. Service was prompt, payment (less than $30 for a family of four?!) processed quickly, in and out in less than an hour at noon on a Saturday.Definitely seems to be a social focal point of the community. Not sure what, of any other places there are to grocery shop or eat out in the area, but this place was packed. Everyone seemed to know each other and spoke. Some even to us. It was fun to be a part of the community for a bit.The grocery store appeared well stocked. Lots of local proteins that aren't available in larger metro areas, so that's good. Prices seemed in line with what one would expect in 2023.If you're passing through, plan to stop. It will be worth your time!

The restaurant experience continues to decline. You often have to sit at a dirty table, since there are routinely tables that aren’t being cleared, and hope it is cleared quickly. Waiting to be acknowledged by wait staff to get a drink order started at times exceeds 30 minutes. Wait times for food are often causing potential customers to leave without receiving their food. There are constantly attitudes and arguments behind the counter that customers have no choice but to hear. Most of the wait staff is inattentive to their customers when they have them. After you finish your meal, you are often standing in line for longer that 15 minutes as nobody is running the register so customers can pay for their food. Unfortunately, this seems to be the new normal for this establishment.

I enjoy shopping at this store. When I first returned to SC from living in NYC, the store manager ordered a product that I normally could only buy in NY. It's been several years and the item is still on the shelf. The reason for my low rating is that once when I ordered hot food from the deli it was some of the most bland distasteful food I've ever eaten. Not to mention the cooking staff looked inexperienced and disorganized. They even got my order wrong, giving me too little or too much of an item and charging me too much for the plate. The food was like hospital food needless to say I won't shop at that deli again for hot food 😫.

Restaurant has a hard time getting its orders right. Prices aren't bad and food is good enough. Shopping is fairly easy.A little more attention to detail would really help this place.

Let’s take a walk back in time and go to the Pig! Yes, that is what the locals affectionately call this one stop marketplace. Good grocery selection. Fax, copy, print, money-orders and more found at customer service. The restaurant boast of daily specials complete with sweet tea and dessert! Purely delightful southern food & people.

We dine here often. The cafe serves home-cooked food and great hamburgers. The specials each weeknight are hard to beat. Portions are good so no one should go away hungry. The plus to the cafe is that you can do your weekly grocery shopping after eating breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

Restaraunt experience sucked. I walked in stood at the counter as staff walked by me several times for a few minutes before even speaking to me. I was told to give them one second i sat there another 10 minutes as i watched them take 3 phone orders that called after id sat there 10 minutes and then as i waited patiently by the counter help two more people who walked up to the counter so i walked out. Very dissappointed customer service is a joke. People on here saying friendly staff Must be friends of staff because to everyone else you arent worth the air you breath is the vibe i got.

The place is very clean, very friendly and prices in the restaurant are very reasonable. The only reason it got three stars instead of five is the seating. There is plenty of it, but it is the older booth style seating and not very comfortable for bigger people. That is a huge factor in my rating of any establishment.

The Pig has it going on. Besides groceries, they have a bakery, a pharmacy, a restaurant, a laundromat, and a gas station. The restaurant has a special every night and a delicious Sunday menu. Great food, great price.

Staff is nice in store and gas station. But the gas station staff is really amazing. Theres a guy who works morning shifts (I think) he was there this morning, at the gas station and he was so kind & helped me out when I was having car problems. I really appreciated it. That man should get a huge raise ❤️

Pick out your steak, get it cooked, enjoy it with french fries or baked potato or sweet potato for $2.99 plus price of your steak, where can you find a deal like that?!

Wonderful little grocery store with a great restaurant inside. Hope that ya'll get a chance to stop by and eat one time. You can choose a steak from the meat department, pay for it and have it cooked in the restaurant. I highly recommend their coleslaw.

We ate there as we do occasionally. I had the breakfast special and the wife had the Tuesday night shrimp special. It was very good and very reasonable too. I would recommend this Pig for any meal and shopping too.

I've always enjoyed eating at the Piggly Wiggly. their little restaurant is wonderful. However during this storm that was caused by the hurricane that came by. It knocked all the power out to the restaurant. Caused all the registers to go down. So they locked the doors of the store and wouldnt let anybody out until they paid for what they had taken. That made perfect sense, however they didn't have any way of taking one's card. Like in the old days when they had the card sliders. So they only took cash or you couldn't leave. My meal with $17. I had $9.50. Fortunately a very kind gentleman behind me decided he would pay for the rest of my meal. Piggly Wiggly, the customers there are wonderful. The staff of the restaurant not so much.The management was very unprepaired.
