They take incredible care of their animals here... They are a small independent store, give them your business over some corporate conglomerate.

We have stopped at the Spoiled Pet the past two years on our family vacation. The staff are always nice and very knowledgeable. The animals are cared for and all very clean. We brought a bunny home last year and three hermit crabs, which all made it besides one hermit which I think had issues getting the correct shell since them I’ve gotten plenty more. The others have been doing great. We bought another this trip. He switched his shell already and he’s doing great!

If you're looking for an axolotl this is the only place I found in the Grand strand that has them available. They have so many to choose from and their prices are right on. They have tons of accessories and most of the stuff you need to get your aquarium started right

I love this store!! They have the healthiest pets and the friendliest staff anywhere. They are all about customer service. I had a wonderful experience recently and wanted to share. I had lost my bird unfortunately while on vacation in Myrtle Beach. We decided to stop by this shop and I instantly fell in love with one of their feathered babies. The staff was very informative, kind as well as sympathetic to my current situation. We decided to take our new baby home and have been more than pleased. Their animals are all very well cared for and I was confident that I was getting a happy, healthy bird! I highly recommend them if you are in the area! ❤️

Very diverse place. Tons of itmems that are basic needs and essentials as well as unique items, accessories and decor. The staff was hard at work the whole time to keep the animal habitats clean and the animals were all fed and watered very well. Could not believe the quantity of different birds, household small animals like rabbits, gerbals and more and pretty good amount of reptiles. The space is tight but used very well. Nice place.

purchased an indian ringneck from here while on vacation in myrtle beach! The staff was so nice in working with me to choose the bird i wanted! I’m originally from Maryland and wasn’t able to take the bird right away so they held my bird for me until i could pick up and had everything ready to go. 5/5 stars! thank you for everything! Blu is living his (or her unsure of gender) best life in Maryland!

The Spoiled Pet is one of the best pet shops I've ever experienced. I got my first ever "heart animal" from them. Piper (aka Big Mama) was one of the many rescue type situations the Spoiled Pet takes in. The amount of care, time and love that Rob, his family and the employees put into the animals that are in their care is unmatched and I have yet to find another Pet shop in the multiple states I've lived in/visited who go through the lengths that Rob and his employees do for the animals in their shop! ❤️❤️❤️

We had a phenomenal experience with The Spoiled Pet. During our summer vacation, we drove 40 mins based on the gleaming reviews to purchase 2 hermit crabs. They are unlike any other hermit crabs I’ve had in the past. Both of them are fun, active, friendly and full of personality. I’ll be stopping by this weekend while traveling for work to get another hermit crab (and I’m going to re-eye those sugar gliders)! The employees were all so helpful and informative. They weren’t on top of us the whole time, trying to make recommendations but were available if help was needed. This approach is much more comfortable and appreciated by me and my family. Unlike most pet stores, we were able to look around for a long time without being harassed about buying something. Thank you so much The Spoiled Pet!

You wont regret it! I recently added a new Phantom Ball Python to my collection, and she is doing awesome! Docile enough for even my 6 year old to handle! I will be back very soon!

I got my African grey parrot from the spoiled pet about 5 years ago and he is everything!!!! He was fairly priced, healthy, happy and he is my absolute soulmate! He still imitates the shop owners voice. You could tell he was very fond of Mr. Mills. Talking birds will tell all your secrets and Goose only tells me how sweet he was treated in his 6 month stay at the shop 💙 eternally grateful!

I purchased MY very first sugar glider (not the first for my family) there five years ago, while on vacation. But the customer care I received was absolutely amazing and I learned so much from your staff. The store was very busy and crowded but I still got one on one attention and never felt rushed or like I was being a bother. This pet store is great! They have plenty of animals in stock every time I visit the store, the community must love them because there is always a crowd. I noticed all the animals are very well taken care of, cages are clean, no bad smells and always fresh food and water. The bonus is the staff who are very knowledgeable, friendly and help with all of your questions and needs for your special pet. If you're looking to buy a pet or just need some supplies this is a great place to support. I purchased a healthy baby glider a few years ago and love visiting the store regularly for supplies. I bought a male Guinea Pig from here as a companion for my other pig that just passed away. Rob and his staff were very professional, friendly, courteous and helpful for what I was wanting and needing. The shop has a great variety of all different animals and supplies. Got our newest family member here. She is a werewolf skinny pig ( hairless guinea pig with alittle hair on her head ). The employees were very knowledgeable and helpful, they even trimmed her nails before they let her leave.

They are really good place for sugar gliders they are knowledgeable about the animals and any questions you might have about them they can answer. I get all of my supplies there as well as my nails done every 2 weeks they are the beat around.
