My Australian Shepherd loves going to PetSmart.I also had signed up for some beginner classes with him. It was Sundays once a week but they have other days. It really helped us with him because his breed always has a lot of energy.This PetSmart is always stocked with stuff.

This store is a hidden gem! They have a fantastic selection of pet products, from trendy finds to timeless pieces. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, always going the extra mile to find what you need. Plus, their return policy is hassle-free, making shopping here a breeze.

Well, This PetSmart location in Myrtle Beach is awesome and actually staffed with employees that actually care about their store. After visiting 4 times in a short period after purchasing a large fresh water aquarium, they have been very helpful and apply their actual experience to guide me thru the initial process of getting the tank set up, stabilized, and ready for life. I've had aquariums in the past. I appreciate them! Stop by and check out this great PetSmart. Clean, fully stocked, and helpful for sure.

Do not go here for the “grooming salon”!! I would give them 0 stars but it’s not an option plus the sales associate in the front of the store was super friendly and helpful! But man was I furious picking up my dog that was supposed to get a full service bath, cut, etc. and he looked worse then when we got him. We were greeted with such attitude and condescension from Erin, someone who is supposed to be the manager. She told us when dropping him off that puppies don’t usually like the vibrations from the trimmers and making it sound unlikely he was going to get anything further then a bath, didn’t sound promising. With the temperatures reaching 103 and emphasizing the importance I thought she’d atleast care enough to give him patience. But no. We pick him up looking terrible, and nothing but attitude and excuses from a “manager”. They are inconsiderate for allowing parents of puppies to book appointments for anything more then a bath if you’re already prepared for it not to be possible before hand. And to charge almost as much for a bath and nail trim as the online appointment said the full pampering deluxe with hair cut and extra package. I’m furious to say it nicely. I have no clue how someone with no ability to trim a puppy, and no ability to speak to a customer can be made a manager let alone be in a role that speaks to anyone. I will not be bringing our dog back nor recommending!

The fish I got there in September is thriving. Went a few days ago and they would not sell me a small algae water because I told them I had a smaller tank, even though I will be upgrading to a larger tank soon.

I went into petsmart today looking for a new pet to love and take care of but I refuse to buy or put any money into this place. I was disgusted by the way they treat there animals and the way they have there habitats set up. The people here do not care for these animals. While looking at the hamsters I noticed two of the fancy mouses that they had were fighting and not getting along, one of the mouse was scared for its life. It was constantly getting attacked and trying to run away. I went and told one of the workers at the register and he said “Okay what do you want me to do about it?” ARE YOU KIDDING ME!? You mean to tell me that you work at a pet store and have no respect for the animals? They don’t even care about the animals there. If there not getting along what makes it so hard to just separate them? Instead your just going to let them fight constantly and live in distress until one or all of them die? This petsmart neglects there animals and does not properly care for there animals. They have all of there animals in small habitats and have multiple of the same breeds in the same small cage when they need to be separated and they need bigger habitats. They keep there beta fish in small containers with no room to swim around and no food. I am disgusted with how they run things here and will never go back. Not to mention the rude customer service, it’s disturbing to think that some people are okay with this. If I could’ve rated this place a 0 I would’ve. Just seeing the animal neglect made me have an anxiety attack, how would you feel to be put in a small cage and have to constantly fight over territory and food?

I've not bought critters here sep fish. Fish are risky everywhere. I buy some fish and some die. That's normal. They refund when you bring them back. Kinda inconvenient but it works. What. Do you have a better idea?

Will never take my dog to be groomed here again. His cut was choppy and subpar. The CSR that checked us in was not friendly and there was pee on the floor in the store.

Out of all the PetSmarts I've visited, this store really stands out in its customer service and well-stocked selection of any and all things pet related. I'm a cat and gecko parent so I'm always thrilled that my go-to food, litter, and feeder insects have always been available. Everyone is so friendly, too.

I’ve been shopping at this Pet Smart for YEARS! Every time I come to this store the employees are rude. I called for help with something and the lady who answers the phone transfers me to the manager who I hear say “just hang up the phone” and then they hang up. Very unprofessional. I’d rather make the extra drive to the one on Commons Drive where everyone is welcoming!

I went there a couple of days ago, to buy a new kong for our dog. A very nice associate helped me to find it. The price tag said $9.xx. At the register it rang up for $15.xx. The cashier told me, that the displayed price on the shelf was only for members. I returned it immediately. Then I re-ordered it online for in-store pickup and it was even less then the shelf price…

The ultimate animal and dog supplies store!! Plenty of great things and items needed for pet care. Prices are reasonable. Added bonus Banfield Animal clinic is right on site with great service.

My three sons used their Christmas money to come to this PetSmart and buy a hamster and all the things for it. The employee who attempted to place the hamster in the box to go home, chased him with his hand trying to trap him for a solid ten minutes while my sons cried that he was scaring him. As we checked out the cashier told us we had 30 days to replace him if something happened. We got him home, in his spacious set up house. The hamster immediately had diarrhea while exploring the new home for him. I assumed it was from the stress at the store. Two weeks later, after my boys had fallen in love with him, we woke up to him dead before school one morning. My sons were devastated. After researching I discovered “wet tail” was a thing and common cause of death. Called PetSmart and was told, yes if he had diarrhea that’s what it was and to come back to have him replaced. My sons contracted the flu one at a time so it took a little over a week to recover and come back in for the new hamster today. They were so excited. We were told by the employee and then manager that not only had we been misinformed that it was technically 14 days, not 30…. But that we also had to bring in the dead body. I asked why I was not informed when I called or checked out that I needed to bring a dead body. No response. I offered to show pictures and video of the full on funeral we had. No response. Then the employee told me we must have had him in a stressful environment. No ma’am. The employee who retrieved him was the only cause of stress he experienced, and expressed that he had diarrhea immediately upon getting home. Then I was told it was my fault that I didn’t bring him back at the first sign of wet tail. I expressed that I didn’t even know wet tail existed until the hamster was already dead. The employee then pointed to the bag of food I was holding. A whole NEW kind I had picked out to try. She told me that if I had fed him that it had caused wet tail because they can’t have a highly seeded diet, they need a pellet diet. First of all, our previous hamster had been fed pellets, and why does the new bag say for hamsters if a high amount of seeds can kill them. I got a complete run around the entire time, all while the employee and manager simply stared at me with a blank look each time I had a logical response to each of their excuses. Once they finally confirmed that they would not be replacing our hamster, I took my sons and left. We will never shop at PetSmart again. The employees were rude, unhelpful, argumentative, and did everything they could to put the blame on us.

I went to talk to girls in back grooming dogs...2 girls was working on one dog..one holding and other working...the other table had one girl with a dogs head tied up...on a table...she was cutting nails by herself..poor dog was screaming when she cut a nail like it HURT..I turned around and Left...ONE need to hold dog secure so it dont jump off table and break its back..then someone else to groom.. id so hate to have our dog screaming

Only been to petsmart 3 times and there was sign that says petcare close. Well petcare to me is like grooming and nails etc. Well the nighshift manager had to be a horse's tail. He said it closed you can't read the damn sign. He claimed that they were short staff( totally understood as I deal with it at work too). If he breaks that much pressure to were he has to insult and be harsh to customers then he shouldn't be in charge. A simply " I'm sorry that station is close please come to the register for assistance" would have been accepted not him running his mouth

Watch your prices was charge 7.59 for a box of milkbone mini biscuits. Did think much of it till I went to Publix and the same box was regular 4.59. Won’t be shopping there again. Chewy all the way.

Erin is absolutely the best! She does an amazing job grooming my 11 year old Chihuahua/Poodle. She’s patient and pleasant and has a way of putting my dog at ease. The salon is clean and all of the staff members are friendly and very helpful.

My dog has been groomed her whole life at PetSmart never any problems. Today she came home scared throwing up and violent blood filled diarrhea. Will not be returning on way to vet on a Sunday...

I love the variety of animal things they have but just like most of the stores/ anyone selling animal related products prays on your heart to spend your hard earned money on overly expensive cheaply made or very cheap to produce products its crazy that dog food used to be $25-35 just a few short years ago and now its $80-100 and treats too its absolutely insane
