This is disgusting. Never in the 7 years of having exotics, never once, have they’ve been so smelly the container hits you when you lift the lid off. Second off, they don’t have any shelf tag or UPC containing the container I’m showing in the photo. 70 count medium. 7.99 for the container and I got not even half the container cause there all dead and rotten!!!!! Never again. I’ll stay going to Pet Supplies at this point, I’ll pay for quality over price for my babies. Sham on this company for being a billion dollar corporation, we save MOST of your exotics before you throw them in the trash, let’s not act like you don’t cause you do and you sell us this garbage?? Also while I’m on that, I check all the containers, they ALL look like that. If pet supplies new hours didn’t affect me to go get them there I would’ve never gone to petco in the first place. I didn’t wanna buy them considering the smell was so so bad it almost makes you think the super worms are not in good health to even have them eaten. It’s really not hard to make sure there fresh on the shelf

I hate to leave a bad review, but I was so upset with my experience today.My six month puppy had an appointment for a quick trim and his appointment lasted 4 hour.After two hours, I gave them a call and asked where they were at in the process and they said they decided to not blow dry him because “he did not like it” so it was going to take a little bit longer for him to dry.The employee then stated it would be maybe another 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, I do not receive a call to pick up my dog.I decided to go into the store and physically go grab him because it’s been a tremendously long time.As I open the door, they told me that he’s already been ready and I was supposed to pick him up an hour ago.There was definitely miscommunication, but where was my call?!?!! No apology, nothing.My dog was drooling because he was so thirsty and has yet to eat since the morning. I’m very upset with the service.

While vacationing at Myrtle Beachsaw this Petco and stopped in.Super nice store, clean and wellorganized even bought a fewnew foods for our cats. Cashiervery helpful.

Kody absolutely loves his two favorite groomers here, Jos and Aliyah, always friendly, giving him tons of good energy even if we’re only there to pick up treats or food he wants to see if they’re in.

My daughter wanted an axolotl for her birthday and we are setting up the tank. Just so happens that the girl that works in the aquatic section just so happens to also own an axolotl. She was so informative and helpful with all our questions and concerns.

I called to find if they had a telescoping ramp for my basset to get into my SUV. After confirming, I traveled to the store - near $5 a gallon gas. It was a bed ramp with a fold down brace. However they were having a nice sale on dog halters! So I bought a couple.And the gentleman on check out was very accommodating and personable.

Staff at Pet-Co treat my Boykin Spaniel and Lab like the Princess and Prince they are. Both dogs know when we arrive and rush to get inside. Groomers Kim and Alea Are excellent! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I love the location on 544 at 17 Bypass!! The staff is so good, especially Joslyn and the other members of the grooming team!! Our pups have never had it so good!!

Kimberly refused to schedule Scooby and Yoda for another grooming appt due to missed appts. We drive an hour one way for appts with her and my schedule changes frequently due to my job. I've successfully made 16 appts at $100 each over the last 3 years. They were definitely getting my money and business. I left a message to have my Petco app unblocked so I could stay with Petco and book at a closer location now that it is opened in Conway and my call was not returned. I tried the 800# and they said the local store had to unblock my scheduling ability to make grooming appts at a different location. Sad my dog has to get comfortable with a new groomer.

Selection varies.. Supply Chain disruption has made a lot of things difficult.. Decent selection for birds reptiles and smalls like my Bunny... Dog and cat stuff Galore! I still prefer to support the smaller pet shops any chance I get!

Staff is terrible excluding the gentleman at the register. The guy in the fish department told me they won't sell me anymore fish because my Red Sea Peninsula 26 gallon can only handle two fish. Also interrupted me talking saying its not true that female Beta fish have shorter fins. Ive been in this hobby for 30 years. I have a pretty good knowledge. Rule of thumb is 1 inch of fish per gallon. Not 1 inch per13 gallons. Also bought expired test kit $60 amd expired calcium supplement. Thought I could at least get those types of things but guess not. I dont think its Petco its that store. Online always goes well.

We took our dog to get groomed. He is a year and a half old and has been to the groomers since he was a puppy. He knows how to behave while getting groomed. I’ve even seen him with my own eyes. We told them that his neck is the problem area because his fur is getting caught in-between the collars. They agreed and felt the rest of his body over, he was fine. Mind you, it typically takes my dog 6+ hours to get fully groomed, bath, nails and ears included in that. Took him in at 9am got a call at 10:21 stating that “he has mats all down his leg that you can only see while blow drying him”. I then get another call at 12:18 saying “he is ready to get picked up” later that night my husband was looking him over and there is a cut right by his ear that they did not tell me about when I had picked him up. We called the next morning and told them what we had found and that it was wrong of them to not inform us. They went on to say none of the groomers saw a cut on him. Mind you the place where he is cut it is completely hair-free. His behind was also not shaven either so she told us we can bring him in. She saw the cut and refunded us the whole grooming amount we paid for which we did not ask for or was the point of this. However, since the grooming he has been itching like crazy. Today, I finally found the culprit, a flea. Now, if he had fleas to begin with, when they gave him a bath they would have told us he had fleas but no they didn’t because there was none and he never had fleas in his life. So how is it, that right after he gets groomed there he comes back home itching like crazy because of a flea? Either the salon itself is infested with fleas or they never clean their equipment. I would like for someone from the corporate to reach out and give me a call please.I never asked for a refund I care for my dog and am used to paying a higher amount. If my dog gets any cuts, scratches, or red spots then I promise I will sue the corporation, I have no problem with it. Please feel free to give me a call at anytime. The pet name was Kruz I do not feel comfortable putting my number on here but I’m sure they can pull it from the system. I would love to get a call soon about this matter please and thank you.

Very Knowledgeable, Friendly & AccommodatingRobert, the store manager, was helpful way beyond my expectations. He answered a wide variety of questions during my call, before I decided to visit the store.Wendi, the dog trainer, is extremely knowledgeable, understands what the dog owner wants and needs and is truly helpful in every way. There is a large, beautiful collection of puppies and dog graduates' photos in the training room. Thank you for the time you took, Wendy, to give me all the details I needed to make my decision to have you train my dog.The atmosphere is inviting, very well-organized and super clean. The staff is very friendly and kind. (Thank you for the special help, Susan!).

Check out the photos :-( The Organix Castor & Pollux dry cat food has BIG ISSUES. I buy it frequently but recently got it "on sale" at Petco and the PEBBLES WERE ALL BROKEN, the color was NOT consistently BROWN, and it had a STRANGE GRAINY look. It was so bad that my CAT REFUSED TO EAT it. I took a chance and purchased it again and this next time all the PEBBLES ARE DIFFERENT SIZES - some being HUGE, MISHAPEN and NOT EVEN CIRCULAR. I found a few that were SO BIG that my cat could literally CHOKE! This is horrible and should be recalled AND NOT JUST DISCOUNTED by Petco!!! Very disappointed and worried to continue purchasing this food. I will try buying it from PetSmart and see if they have the same issue with Castor & Pollux.
