Kudos to this store. We were traveling and had a child get sick. They were kind enough to fill a prescription for us within 1.5 hours. This store was within walking distance to the beach. Only about a mile to the sand which was really convenient for us. We walked up there for groceries a few times. They also have a gas station and Duck donuts in the same lot. Very convenient for traveling. Our cashiers were all friendly and helpful which was especially nice since it was the holiday times.

I'm out of town and we don't have Kroger's in NC anymore but it was just like old times. The lady running self checkout was very genuine making sure to help everyone in a timely manner.

Great little Kroger, right on your way to the beach 😊 Its not a "super" Kroger, but it has everything you need. It is clean and the staff is super friendly. Especially the girl who is usually working the self check out, she always has a good attitude and a smile. The produce seems fresh and I've never had to wait very long to check out. So if you need to pick up a few things on your way to the beach, some sunscreen, drinks or whatever. This is a good place to stop, pretty quick in and out and friendly 😊

Very nice store! When I walked into the produce department, I heard some lightning and realized it was a sound effect to let people know that they were misting the produce😂! I then went to look for a specific item and I asked the guy working in that department. He couldn't find it, so I continued shopping but then as I was checking out, he came and found me because he had just opened a box with that item in it! I appreciated that!

Nice clean, well stocked grocery store. The staff was helpful and accommodating. My only negative comment is that the produce looked tired yet the produce prices were a bit higher priced than other grocery shops.

For being so close to the beach, the prices weren't as bad as other stores nearby (no names Big B). Excellent choice for groceries if you're staying nearby!

First time shopping at this Kroger, and while the staff was very friendly (even using the self checkout register, they still bagged my groceries) the store shows its age.The aisles are very small and narrow, and it’s hard to navigate. The lighting in the store is very dim, wish they would update the lights.The store itself seems stuck in a time warp, and badly needs to be updated.Prices however, were very good and as stated the staff was great. So plus and minus to the trip

The store generally is a good place to shop.I would like to give a shout out to the staff that does an excellent job and great customer service.It is well stocked and clean other than on the days of tourist rushes on the weekend.The reason I have given 3 stars are:1: The shopping cart location makes no sense. They moved it from an easily accessible point to a place that is far from the entrance, which often confuse first time shoppers that expect to find them on the inside then realize that they must go back outside and look for the carts.Reason 2: dogs. On several occasions, there have been people with their pets in the store (not service animals). This is not home depot, it is a store where food is sold and sanitary laws should be properly observed.Other than the item above, the management does a great job with their employees and their training and selection.I recommend during the tourist season, to avoid the store on Friday and Saturday afternoon and evenings as it is utter chaos. The best time to shop here, is early morning before 8 when the store is mostly stocked and there are mostly locals shopping.Price wise, there are alternatives that have better pricing, then it is hit and miss as some stores have different offers at different times.The pharmacy and its staff are a class act. Very efficient and friendly. They work very hard to accommodate their customers. That being said, it is more often than not that there will be a line at the pharmacy due to someone with insurance issues, which the staff dutifully resolve.Best time to visit the pharmacy? Late evening between 6 and 7 seems to be the best.

This is a very nice, clean store. Everything is well stocked, and the manager was visible every time we went there. He and his employees were exceptional, offering me a complimentary wheelchair and any other assistance they thought I needed the entire time we were there. (Broke my foot and am on crutches). Customer courtesy is ever present in this store, and that's why we keep coming back! Thank you for being such a kind-hearted group.

My wife had acute bladder infection, needed meds ASAP for pain and bacterial spread.. The script was called in at 9:30 am.. I went to plck it up at 12:45... Pharmacist TAMI told me it's not ready, and won't be ready until 1:45 because she had to eat her lunch.. I pleaded with her, told her I lived 30 minutes away, my wife is in acute pain....She said I'm not the only one who needs medication.. Come back later!!! I say TAMI is insensitive and should be fired!!

Every time I stop at this location right when you walk in it has a really bad smell. A musty type smell which is concerning as they have an open refrigerator case . So not sure if something is wrong with the case. The aisles are so small and when you have two to three people working it becomes very frustrating to maneuver around. The store is very cluttered down the aisles. They have tall baskets in the aisle with merchandise and it's just too much. I know this store stays busy and I am sure you get a lot of freight but merchandise it properly to not be so cluttered. Prices have gotten better with Krogers especially sale prices . Being able to get extra off on gas is a bonus.

This place is fine. The aisles are small, so at times it can feel crowded. It is always busy. The produce here is immaculate. My favorite place to buy produce. Before you go download the app. There are always amazing deals and coupons to clip.

Butcher shop meat and fish are fresh. Vegetable dept is well stocked also fresh.Kroger's has a lot of items to choose from.One problem, they need to fix the holes in their floors and parking lot. I parked it a handicap spot Almost fell in a hole while loading groceries into my cars trunk.

Mike from self checkout is beyond amazing as a manager in retail I must say he has alot of potential very kind and very patient to me and my wife as well we needed help purchasing alot of items and he was very aware and very helpful!! After shopping there for 25 years and my son working there to help pay for his college education in the early 2000s, I decided to try the self-checkout for the first time yesterday. I'm a paraplegic in a wheelchair so the screen isn't super easy to see but I was working through it. I was unsure how to ring up my produce so I asked the cashier overseeing the area. It was obvious from the start she was not thrilled about helping, but I tolerated it until she repeatedly rolled her eyes. I finally asked why she was being so rude. She was obviously a time bomb because she went off on me and tried her best to belittle me publicly. I saw people around, other customers, looking shocked. I asked for a manager and she laughed and called one. The manager, Derek, said this was not the first time she'd acted so hideously and he offered me a $10 gift card. I didn't want a freebie, I wanted an apology. She derisively chuckled and said "I'm sorry" in a sing song voice. Her name is JILL. Another employee told me Jill was not a kind person, and an employee named Tammy was apologetic and kind. I've never been treated so badly over simply asking for help with technology that was new to me and not completely accessible. How is this woman working with the public? I'm filng a formal complaint with their corporate headquarters.

Kroger is a great store for certain items but their customer service skills are so horrible. We only go here for certain items due to this & the fact that they cram their isles with displays causing jams. Yesterday we went to pick up our few products with all self check outs in use we saw a cashier Beverly free so we went through her line. I must now apologize as we evidently interrupted her doing nothing as we could tell she really didn't want to check us out. We also had to bag our items while she watched. Beverly, if you hate your job, please go find a new one. If you just hate us, please know we will avoid you from now on. How I miss Harris Teeter stores.

Kroger NMB has become my go-to shopping spot. Hats off to Donnie, Tabitha and all Kroeger associates who maintain a spotless store and and are both engaging and friendly. Unexpected 'specials' lure me into recalling...'that's an item I need and can use.' You folks are making my choice and recent retirement location a big part of a happy experience. Thank you, Doug

Great Customer Service ! The staff was very helpful & informative. One young lady had a stand of drinks, as you walked by, she asked if you loaded the free Friday, explained they were not sent many of the item & wanted to offer another item. The young lady who checked us out, made sure our things were bagged appropriately, we were taking certain items to a different location & this helped keep us from having to sort through things later.
