We contracted Gator Strong to install a 4ft black aluminum fence with 2 gates in the back yard of our new house and they were great to work with. From the process of drawing up the plans to submitting them to our HOA for us to the actual installation they did a phenomenal job. Their price was very reasonable and the work was done in a very timely manner and turned out better than expected. This company is amazing. The day after we closed on our new home Gator Strong was on the scene to construct our screened in porch. Jeremy and his team are doing amazing work here in Myrtle Beach. We had to re-quote several times on a new house to work around the HOA and Jeremy turned them around really fast. We needed a fence as soon as we moved in for our very spoiled dog. The team was able to complete the job in one day. They were prompt, did a great job and cleaned up after themselves. Had an excellent experience working with Gator-Strong and very happy with our shadow box fence. After contacting to get a quote, Jeremy came out within a day, walked us through the process, gave us our options and we had an estimate shortly thereafter. Megan kept us fully updated throughout the HOA approval (which they handled) and the city permitting as well. Once permitting was square, their crew were fast to install, and complete professionals. Gator Strong Services installed our privacy fence 2 years ago. Originally, very pleased with the company even referred numerous friends who got their fences installed by this company. It had lasted through numerous storms until a few weeks ago. A fairly mild storm for our area came through and it snapped our gate off the post. Being that our fence was fairly "new" in my opinion at least, considering I expected our fence to last for more than 2 years when we paid more than $5,000 for it. The reason for the gate snapping off was due to poor installation, the gates were installed too far apart which left a large gap in between for the fences to slip past each other and blow backwards during storms (which we should have report in the beginning... i know, i take responsibility for that). I called the company and asked about any type of warranty that might be on the fence or what could be done. Every person i spoke to was very helpful during a bad situation except for the CFO. He was terrible. He felt the need to create an analogy like I was an idiot, not understanding that the bottom line is unfortunately, this company doesn't back their work. He stated and I quote "well, if you bought a chevy and the engine blew up would you never buy a chevy again?" This statement is condescending and insulting. I'm not sure if he thought I was an idiot or if the thought he could speak to me that way because i am a young female. If that insulting analogy wasn't enough what really sent me over the edge was the CFO telling me " I'm not even sure why I'm having this conversation with you, its been 2 years since installation" and that I was being "unfair to his company" by being upset that I had to spend $750 (which i was told i was being given a DEAL) to replace the gate that also doesn't match the rest of my fence because they don't use that vinyl anymore. I'm sure that is why they couldn't stand behind the manufacturer lifetime guarantee. I have never written a review in my life and I would not be writing this review now if the CFO of this company had any amount of customer service skills. I was told by serval employees the owner would be contacting me due to my frustrations and instead the CFO called me which made this entire situation 100x worse. Again, I have nothing bad to say about the staff or the manager, but if this is how the CFO speaks to people, he just shouldn't.

When our existing fence did not meet the county code for pool owners, we found that we needed to add a few inches to the height. Gator Strong made it easy for my husband to adapt our fence without straining our budget! We were able to take fence pieces home to determine if they would work before making our purchase. We used new top rail to add to the existing fence to gain the inches we were needing to pass code! Gator strong installed my privacy fence. The fence installation was fine however I have found that instead of dumping the soil and sod that was dug up during placement of the posts, it was piled on top of my flower bed on top of the weed barrier and then they tried to cover it with some of the mulch and my garden tool container. I now have to shovel the dirt off of the bed and buy more mulch. Beware and walk the interior and exterior of your fence before paying. Also had to pick up cigarette butts thrown in the yard.Service: Vinyl fence installation

Very satisfied with our fence. We have one post that sunk, but it's nominal. **We called to have one panel of our privacy vinyl fence removed for work to be done. Called Gator Strong and was told it would be $600 to remove and reinstall one 6 foot panel. When we had fence installed, the saleswoman told us if we ever had work to be done, we could call and they would come and remove a panel if we need it. $300 to remove and $300 to reinstall one panel is ridiculous and just plain robbery. Do better!!!! After this experience, we will not be using this company for anything ever again

My first interaction was for hurricane shutters. I didn’t have experience with them. Mike explained everything! After determining the type I wanted, GS measured, ordered & delivered exactly what I wanted and on time. We were looking to have a garage screen installed, found the Gator Strong Website and set up an appointment. Mike came out, measured and sent us a quote within 24 hours. They have a great customer service team as well( Ann Marie & Jackie) that put our order together. After a slight installation timing Snafu, Gator Strong owner Jim immediately got involved sent out Jeff and Sheila to install our screen and Jim actually was on site for part of the install. Installation went very smooth and was professionally done. We are very happy with our Garage Screen. We highly recommend Gator Strong Services and will certainly use them again.

Gator strong is the best , I have a prosthetic leg. My HOA wanted me to get the black fence. I didn’t feel like I will have privacy with the black fence, and they help me fight to get my privacy fence. The lady in the office (Rebecca) was so patient so understanding and help me through the whole process. I was very pleased with the overall experience with Gator. When I initially called for an estimate, the estimate was provided the same day. A couple of months later the winds took out my old fence and I called around, and ended up calling Gator back and spoke to Megan, the very next day Jeremy came back out to make changes to the initial estimate and he and the owner worked with me to ensure my budget was met and still receive a quality install. While trying to get on the schedule, my husband was scheduled to have surgery, Megan remembered that and sent me a very nice message letting me know that we were in her prayers. There are not many companies who actually care about their customers, which gives me a whole new respect for Gator as a whole. Within a week and a half my fence has been installed. The installers were respectful, professional, and courteous. They completed the take down and install in a reasonable timeframe. I am so grateful for the service that they provided.
