TLDR; Sean is a stand up guy, please give him your business if you’re considering it!Today we took our golf cart on its maiden voyage to Nexton to test our new lithium battery. When we went to leave we realized it hadn’t been plugged in since we took it out earlier this week, but we still had nearly a full charge so we took the drive.All was well until we were about 4 miles from home. The battery went from ~40% to dead in an instant. Not knowing what to do, we saw a couple working in their yard and asked if they happened to have an extension cord we could use to get us enough charge to get back home.Luckily we picked the right house for our cart to die in front of because it was Sean, the Worm King. He was happy to help us and refused anything in return.While we have no reptiles or pets that would benefit from his store, I’m sure plenty of you do. If you’re looking for a new (and convenient) spot to get your worms and other reptile needs, go check him out over on 17A by Kings! *get some pizza from Kings while you’re there, you won’t regret it!I’m all for voting with your wallet and we need to support small, local businesses run by honest, hardworking people. Recently, I adopted my second bearded dragon after losing my first one. The only hesitation to adopting another is bc of having to feed it crickets. Thanks to Sean, he explained other feeder options instead of having to use messy crickets. The larvae are better for my baby bearded, too. She couldn’t eat them up fast enough! The packaging was great and the shipment came quicker than expected. I highly recommend you checking out Worm King for all of your feeder needs.

I just bought my grandson a bearded dragon and I was recommended to go to The Worm King, I’ve been twice this week! They are very friendly & knowledgeable. I know nothing about bearded dragons so I appreciate all the information, as well as getting a great quality product for a good price (even if this is costing me a small fortune to get started!). Today I took my grandson with me and they brought out Bob, the Tortoise, for him to meet! My grandson says it’s the best reptile store ever!!

Fantastic gut-fed feeders for a healthy happy reptile! The person who owns Worm King is very friendly and knowledgeable, and you can tell he loves all of his critters. The prices are better than a chain store and competitive with the feeders you can order online. If you follow instructions and toss a couple veggies in with your bugs they will last a very long time, and I've had no issues with unhealthy/dead bugs either. Just to reiterate if you are local, they are closed on weekends because they go to reptile shows but they seem to be readily available every time I go otherwise.

Sean is great and very knowledgeable. He takes the time to help you with all your questions and needs. I got my Spanish Red Monster Bearded Dragon from him, he spent time with me helping me with the information needed to raise my beardie. Sean even allowed me to hold/handle his own Beardie while I was there to get mine and said if I had any other questions feel free to contact him. I would recommend stopping in and checking him out for all your reptile needs or wants. Went in looking for info on a gecko as my son has been very interested. We got so much info from them and never once were we made to feel like we were an aggravation or a waste of time. We did not know if we were going to buy anything. He made us feel so confident in being able to take care of it and was very happy to help us we went and decided to buy one. I have been using this shop for my bug needs for the beardies and I've never had a bad experience. The owner is well informed and teaches you about how to care for your pet as well as keep great feeders for good prices. Got a Jumping Spider from him as well. He's pretty great!

This place has multiple Bearded Dragons, Leopard Geckos, snakes, Chameleons, and turtles. All the reptiles were well kept, and in awesome health. Many automatic enclosures, cleaner for the enclosures, and a load of different insects such as super worms, crickets Dubia roaches and feeder mice and rats. The staff was very knowledgeable, and were happy to answer any questions I would highly recommend this small business to anyone that's looking to purchase a reptile or needing food for a reptile. Go check this place out!

This place is from today on my go to for my reptiles! I called and from the beginning the owner of this place was amazing, I asked about live mice and he told me to bring my snake in as well to make sure he could eat the mice he had. When me and my boyfriend got in there he told us thing about the reptiles that I didn’t even know! Will definitely go back here and will recommend to any one who has reptile needs!!

I love this place! A bunch of super cool critters inside. Shaun is super knowledgeable and friendly. Ive gotten worms from many local pet stores but the quality and service doesn’t compare. Me and my frog love the worm king!!
