Well, this is my first ever Google review. I went into my local Walgreens in Mauldin tonight - as I do weekly - and had the absolute worst experience. I was waiting in line and was next in line and the cashier (come to find out, she is the manager, Jenny) asks the customers behind me if she can help them. I said I’m sorry I was next in line. Jenny is quick to tell me that I shouldn’t be on my phone while waiting in line and that I should have picked a line. Mind you, she just opened a new line. The way that Jenny communicated to me was beyond unprofessional and demeaning. While I was on my phone, I was attentive and giving eye contact so that there was no question weather I was paying attention and next in line. I even called back to ask to speak to the manager and Jenny picked up. No apology - no sympathy- no understanding - I was simply told yet again that I shouldn’t have been on my phone. I have never experienced such poor customer service. What a shame as this is the Walgreens that I frequent as it is so close to me. I truly hope this is addressed and that Jenny doesn’t treat other paying customers with this same disposition.

Pharmacy staff was less than pleasant. Waited over 30 minutes for an appointment to get a vaccine and had to walk out. Drive-thru line and phones were prioritized over those waiting for appointments. And the store and pharmacy area was ridiculous dirty with crumbs and dirty on the floor and cobwebs.

The reviews are accurate...this place is bad! We scheduled an appointment for a vaccine and after waiting more than 30 minutes we just left without being seen. The pharmacy tech was not nice nor remotely pleasant. The store is just dirty; cobwebs everywhere, dirty floors, etc.

It's back to mail order refills for me. I thought it would be convenient to get my refills locally but I can't deal with this pharmacy. I took in a 90 day prescription with 3 refills and was told it was too early to refill, but it would be put on file. Then when it could be filled, one of the refills disappeared. Now, I filled a prescription for 90 days on 8/27 but now I've run out two weeks early so I couldn't have gotten my 90 pills. Lesson learned, count my pills if I ever get another refill here, which I won't.

I have the absolute worst time with this pharmacy. Most of the people are nice enough, but every single month there are issues with getting my prescription refilled. There have been several times I’ve gone weeks without my medication due to the mismanagement of the pharmacy department here. I’ve always used Walgreens in the past, but it’s gotten to the point I have to switch. Luckily my meds were not medically necessary, but if you have a prescription that you NEED, please do not send it here.

This review has nothing to do with the people that work there and I feel bad they have to deal with all this. On top of the pharmacy being short staffed since they offered vaccinations it’s been a regular customers nightmare. Days later my prescriptions aren’t ready. The wait in line is always at least 20 minutes. Last week they could only take cash and now the drive through speaker is broken. There are currently 9 people in line just to pick up a prescription. It’s rediculous and shame on corporate for all of this.

Horrible service. I placed an pickup order said it would be ready at 12:54 i sat in my car and waited until 2:37 after already going in twice to check on the status and being told she hadn’t had time to get my order filled not to mention store was empty. At 2:37 when i went in the shift had changed by this time the same person was no longer even working the counter and the previous lady hadn’t even attempted to start my order. Had to wait more the new guy was nice and quick about it but the First Lady never even placed my order and let me wait for 3 hours for nothing.

If you're going to pick up a prescription here, I recommend packing a lunch or taking a book, because you're going to be here for a while. The pharmacy moves at an absolutely glacial pace. Molasses flowing out a frozen jar is downright speedy in comparison.

Today is March 20, 2021. I needed a prescription today and the date i got it last refilled was Feb 20, 2021 so I called today to refill and they tell me it’s too early that they can fill it tomorrow. I asked why because the date I last got it was Feb. 20, 2021 and I was told because February had 28 days in it. So if this is true PUT IT ON YOUR PRESCRIPTION YOU GET IN FEBRUARY. This is a medicine I DO need but I’ll wait until tomorrow. Glad it isn’t my seizure med.

This is the worse Walgreens I ever been to! Bad customer service. Nobody knows what's going on in the pharmacy. One person tells me my medicine will be ready on Saturday after 9. When I get there they don't have in but the day before you all told me 30 mins to have it ready! I come back Monday they tell me it will be ready at 230. Gives them a hour and a half and they tells me again they dnt have it in. I'm standing waiting for the lady to come back and tell me they don't have it in. She looks over me Standing right in front of her and calls out another person's name and tell them they totally is $2. They need to shut this Walgreens down!

Trying to fill a prescription that has been approved by insurance since September 9th! Not able to drive but I have made three trips to the drive thru pharmacy only to be told that They are waiting on approval! Any attempts when calling its "Three or more callers ahead of you" and then finally "There's one caller ahead of you and call gets disconnected! Since I have nothing but time on my hands or nothing else better to do, I have even called at 1pm and have patiencely but irritability waited until the recording has went from, "Three or more callers ahead, Staffs are on break until 2pm, We will hold your place in line."Guess what had happened! Yep! My Call Got Disconnected! How ridiculous is this!? Gotta laugh to keep from crying!

Horrible service. Phones are a nightmare. I have been on hold 4 times today for at least 45 minutes each time. When my "spot" in line came up, their system hung up on me 3 times. Still on hold for the 4th time. This happens regularly. Now their microphone for the drive thru is broken - so you have to go inside. Transferring my scripts to Publix across the street - I recommend you do the same. Their corporate number is the same friggin way!

Today I pulled up the drive through pharmacy at 6.20 pm, 40 minutes later I was served. Called to speak to the manager and they were not available. It became clear to me she was answering the phone instead of taking care of the long line at the drive through, she slunk off and another girl took over, when I complained she just ignored me like I was not even there. Miserable experience.

The girl behind the counter spoke broken English. I waited 2 hours to get my prescription filled. They said they thought I was waiting on covid shot. Meanwhile kids getting the vaccine, while their parents told expect them to be sick for a few days. The world has lost their mind!

They deserved no stars at all...Made appointment on line for covid booster at 11:15, it was 12:37 whenI finally received my shot... that was the most unorganized system ever. I don't recommend anyone going for injections there.

I’m in love with my new Walgreens! I switched Walgreens and I’ve never been happier when I go to the pharmacy everyone is so nice and welcoming no matter how busy they are. I don’t mean average nice...I mean they go over and above nice!The pharmacist, his name is Tim, is so outstanding that I felt compelled to write this. I truly believe he needs to be recognized for it. I asked him if there was a way that I could talk to the person in charge to let them know how he helped me as I didn’t understand how to fill and measure a syringe from my elderly dog. I asked if I could send him a picture of the syringe that I was given and a copy of the picture of the pain medicine that he’s on. I didn’t know what lines to look for on the syringe because there’s two of them and I didn’t want to give him the wrong amount. Tim took time out of his life to help me and he drew an arrow and showed me exactly how to fill a syringe and show me the exact line to look for on the syringe. He couldn’t get back to me for a while because he was so busy but he found a way. He has no idea what that meant to me because my dog it’s not a dog is my heart and to me after 16 years of us being together, he’s just like a son to me. He actually saved my life once. I would like for someone to please recognize Tim, he’s the only Tim there, and do something special for him as he does for other people. Please, he deserves to be recognized in a special way!The one thing you can’t do is to train people to care! The pharmacy tech Felicia is super awesome and the pharmacist is super awesome also. Went and checked for me that there would be no major interactions between all my meds. Love this pharmacy and the people keeping it moving!! Reccomend to any.

Hope in the photo department was fantastic helping me find my daughter’s “Save the Date” photo cards. I did not realize it was in my name since I was picking up. Hope was kind and courteous never giving up. Great Walgreens. That’s my store.

Worst Pharmacy, went to get a medication filled and they told me they couldn't get my VA insurance to go through, which doesn't make any sense because I was just there the other day and they accepted it. Who ever the Pharm tech that was working today just didn't want to deal with it. Now i have to go through this huge deal to get my meds resent to the VA so that they can be filled.
