I’ve shopped at Publix my entire life, moving from Florida to here 20+ years ago this was a nice way of having a piece of “home”here is SC. Publix is known for its clean atmosphere, great selection of products and friendly staff. Their pharmacy is my favorite local one to choose from, my favorites are the bogo items and happy they keep adding vegan options to their store. I would have given 5 ⭐️ but the past year I’ve been disappointed that they don’t ask if you need help out to your car like they used to.

Opting to eat from what I have onboard instead of a meal out or fast food, I still needed to fill in a bit from this Publix. As is usual with Publix, the store was clean and tidy. Stock was in great condition and aisles were bright. There were no loose carts in the parking lot.Easy to find what I wanted and then to check out. Self-checkout worked fine and I was on my way.

Publix employees are always polite, respectful and most helpful. The store is always clean and ales uncluttered and have a wide variety of quality products. Would not grocery shop anywhere else

Bought some salmon here, first time I bought salmon here it was fine, but the second time I bought salmon here it was really slimy and mucus-y and when investigating the fish to see if it was bad I felt something hard. It was a piece of plastic, a long thin piece of plastic that went all the way into the fish and had less than a centimeter sticking out. It is disgusting I had to feel like my fish was spoiled to dig around and find plastic in my fish, if I wasn't as cautious about my seafood as I am I probably would've ingested plastic.

I Just left this Amazing Location. I think everyone was on Happy Pills! Amazing organization in the store as well as getting everyone in and out in the shortest amount of time.. Did I mention everyone had a smile for the customers. Totally Outstanding customer service from the deli to the checkout. I was so impressed and want to say Thanks!!! Keep up the Great work.

It is a great Publix. Everyone is so attentive to all of their customers, or at least it is always that way when I shop there. Very clean and a big store, with great options! Highly recommend!

Stopped by last week for some PubSubs for supper. The deli guy Roger was fantastic! He made two delicious chicken tender subs and was quite interesting to talk with. He deserves to be promoted!

Everytime I do public pick up the vegis and fruit is always terrible.The pharmacy needs better techs because in no world it takes an hour to fill a prescription. It’s the middle of the day… are you just starting to fill for the day? I have came to also get things filled multiple times and they are out of it and do not tell you until you come back after waiting … does a phone not exist … do you not know how to call and tell someone you are out …

Great employees! Shelves are always stocked and produce is fresh. It is an older store that could use options similar to newer more modern stores. So many new homes being built in and near Mauldin that we are hoping for a new store to be built similar to the new Simpsonville stores. But this is a good store to shop in.

The store itself is fine…. The deli is terrible… and that’s too bad because the deli at any Publix is normally good… I waited after several trips to make sure it wasn’t just a fluke and it’s not… the people working at this deli are poorly managed, lazy, not courteous and as slow as molasses…. With 4 people working there and only 3 customers on my last experience, it should be a 5 minute trip tops but every time it still takes 20 minutes when the staff outnumber the customers. It almost makes me want to go to the Ingles across the street… almost…

I had cupcakes made at the store in Mauldin and they were horrible!!!!! I ordered cupcakes for a gender reveal. I asked for DARK pink and blue colors on the outside. The deli manager had to come scrap the icing off because the colors were not what I asked for. The intial colors were an off white pastel pink color with a slight tint of the lightest blue I have ever seen. The deli manager had to come in and fill an icing bag up and make the colors dark blue and pink. Inside the cupcake was supposed to be filled with a DARK blue color and it was not what I asked for. I wasn't aware of that until I got home and bit into them. The work was very sloppy, no detail at all It looked like something children made with sprinkles on top!I called and asked to speak to Jeremy the store manager and days went by and no one ever returned my call. I called and spoke to Tristan the ASSISTANT MANAGER. She is literally the rudest manager I have ever spoke to in my life! Horrible management qualities!!!!!!!!! She acted like she did not care AT ALL about what happened and made excuses as to why the bakery shouldn't know what type of ingredients are being used especially when people have food allergies! How does a bakery not know what ingredients are being used in their products???? That makes absolutely NO sense!!!!I was explaining the situation and Tristan got loud and said "okay I'm a mother too and I understand your frustration but what do you want me to do? She said I've been on the phone with you for 5 minutes already. We don't know what ingredients are in our products because they come in FROZEN and we just ice the cakes here OKAY. You can call customer service it you want to and they will just email us all this". What manager treats a customer like this?I asked for the customer service number and she refused to give it to me and hung up. I called back and asked her for the number and she yelled and put me on hold. A manager shouldn't act like that. I'm shocked that Jeremy the store manager would let his management team speak to his loyal customers like this. We literally shop there all the time. I will never go back to Publix in Mauldin after what took place. Do yourself a favor and order your cakes elsewhere. The bakery and management team has went down hill!

Very disappointed in this Publix. We brought them a picture of a cake and was told they were couldn’t do it. Publix on Pleasantburg did and did a great job. Seems like their public just didn’t want to.

The quality and service at this Publix have gone down steadily over the last couple of years to the point that I shop almost exclusively at Aldi now. The last few times I’ve been there things have rung up incorrectly (not on sale as advertised). This last time I didn’t notice while I was at the register, and when I got home I realized they’d charged me full price for TWO items that had sale signs in front of them. The last time this happened, I did notice at the register, and they had to call a manager over to fix it- but neither the cashier nor the manager even offered the Publix Promise (that item should have been free). There are never employees out and about in the store offering help anymore, and they are often out of things I need. I used to be a very loyal Publix customer, but there’s just no reason to spend almost double on groceries for the “good service” that doesn’t exist anymore. The pharmacy also never seems to have their life together. My prescription that’s supposed to be on autofill is never filled when I need it, and they will not refill it while I shop.

Just tried to buy organic black pepper here, they don't even have slots for them. The most used spice and they don't have it, and some lady before me checking out might have been mentally challenged, or she just like pissing people off, not a good experience.

Excellent sandwiches at the deli and you can also get chicken wings, oth the best anywhere! And, my sun loves the Publix raspberry sweat tea. This is my favorite Publix around. The whole staff is extra friendly!

$5 sushi wednesdays are a total ripoff. Do not buy sushi on Wednesday’s from Publix.As you can see in the pic below, I have a normal full price $6.99 sushi roll I bought yesterday on the left, and the Wednesday “special” on right. It is clearly smaller and contains far less filling.In the second pic, I took out one of the pieces of protein from each, and the one from the Wednesday roll is the small sliver next to the whole chunk taken from yesterday’s roll.There were similarly reduced amounts of vegetables, and about 80% of the rice. The rolls are altogether significantly smaller.They charge about 30% less for the food, but there is about half the amount of actual food and less than half of the protein. I suppose they never promised that the $5 sushi was the same thing as the normal sushi, but I don’t think I’m going out on a limb to say the expectation was to get the same thing for a special price on wednesdays.Interestingly, they both showed the same calories (320 calories for spicy Cali roll yesterday {not pictured, but similar proportional size difference} and 320 calories for visibly smaller roll today) so at least one of those labels is wrong.I am very disappointed and will never buy sushi on Wednesday again from Publix.

This is definitely one of their smaller stores. However, it doesn't disappoint when finding what I need. However, this last time I went, I ordered a cake from the bakery. You all can agree, their cakes are delicious! I have never had an issue in all the years we've ordered cakes. This last one was dry. Even the icing didn't help, because the icing tasted griddy! Like sand was in it. It wasn't smooth and light. No believed it came from Publix. And for $55 I think I'll bake one myself next time if this is the quality they are putting out.

Tory I totally agree with you on quasi management-been shopping at this store since it open! The ladies that are supposedly head cashier (with green hair now pink) is so unprofessional its pathetic and the other I believe its Tristan short and stubby- has the audacity to say what they want to you-surprised no one has literally shut her mouth up- I know its hard to find help but I could live with being patient on an employee who I know will treat me with respect instead of these dumb bunnies that act like they own something. On another note the older employee (Becky) deserves a 5 for having excellent soft skills and should be made head cashier instead of these young yoyos-that make mistakes and want to turn around and blame it on the customer -esp if you’re black! Dont leave the store write corporate office and get a petition going! Sign me up.

Little do people know that grocery stores are laid out in a certain way; Publix has had a history of tampering with that model with their newer stores but the Mauldin store is classic grocery layout: produce on the right, counter clockwise movement to meat, dairy in the last part of the loop, bits in between in the aisles. And the customer service has always been excellent.

I am a very religious shopper of Publix. I either shop for myself or I do instacart for Publix. Today I was totally embarrassed by Tristan the assistant manager. I was shopping for a customer with instacart and she accused me of stealing the groceries instead of asking me was I doing a delivery or anything. Tristan even had the nerve to call the police for a wrongfully accusing me of shoplifting. I will never patronize this Publix as long as she is an employee at this establishment. After she found out it was an instacart order she never once apologized or anything. I will have to find another grocery store to patronize.
