I’m convinced this Ingles tries to hire to most surly, rude, unfriendly, unhelpful workers they can find in Greenville. If poor customer service were an Olympic sport, this store would do our country proud. I’ve been in this store probably two dozen times and had the always sleepy checkout teenager speak to me exactly once and that was an incoherent mumble. Usually, they don’t even look up. There’s a reason the parking lot seems largely vacant most of the time. I’ve shopped at Ingles stores across the South and have never experienced one like this. They are usually exemplary. Shop at the Publix across the street.

Love this store. It carries many products that Food Lion does not. Meats and fish selections are plentiful with some special offerrings. Such as almond crusted flounder and Feta cheese stuffed salmon..plus many more....I won't go anywhere else...staff is always friendly, Helpful and personable.

The produce section is lovely and well stocked with Thanksgiving flowers, and everything you need for a good holiday meal.They have a selection of gluten free items throughout the store and a deli area with tables and chairs for people having lunch. It was full at the time of our visit. My mother shops here weekly.

I loved ingles in spartanburg county but here in greenville county, they just seem dark and dingy. Last couple of times i got milk from here it was bad before the expiration date

I love Ingles, their prices are low, and the food is ethnically and locally sourced. They have a butcher shop as well as a deli, a moderately sized home goods and beauty department, It's really practical shopping. However, their are reasons as to why I don't shop at the Malden location often. This particular grocery mart is lazy. Not everyone is actively participating in their position. The check out lines are horrendously long, and the deli dept is very slow. If you are acknowledged at any time in this store, you will seldom be greeted with a warm, friendly smile. It's a shame, really.

Ingles why are you advertising and don't have the items. Ask an attendant? At meat market about the Country Ribs on sale. She told me she was cutting some if I wanted to wait. Which I did. Went back another attendant had joined her and they were putting out meat. He came over to me. And I ask about the ribs on sale he pointed. I started walking toward the add sign. He showed me ribs. That were not good quality. And was 20 cents higher. I explained the lady attendant told me she was cutting them. He said this is them. I said these are 20 cents more on lb. He said oh, Those are for a family pack. I said where is the family pack? He replied.We didn't cut any and don't have any. I ask could I get a rain check? He just looked. And then replied we don't know what they are going to send us. Maybe we will have some tomorrow. Oh well don't think I will go tomorrow? What has happen to your nice atmosphere and pleasant staff!

Worst Ingles in the Upstate. Very limited selection of everything. The produce looks like stuff they picked out of a dumpster. Meats are not much better. Store is never very clean and staff is mostly rude. I've never had such a bad experience at an Ingles. Skip this one and go to any other.

I always love going to ingles for their salad bar but this one is the worst. Every time I come the lettuce is wilted. It’s disgusting I can barely find enough fresh to make an entire salad. Poorly managed

If I could give no stars I would I haven’t been to ingles in about a year. My grandmother use to come here all the time before she passed. I will not walk back in that store if y’all don’t want to be on morning shift find another job. All staff in the store as of 12/13/23 8:00am

Ingles has a wonderful selection of baking flours for gluten-free bakers. The prices are reasonable and the store is always organized and tidy. Thank you for a great visit.

This store is absolutely DISGUSTING, The frozen foods always have freezer burn because freezers are always not working properly, The deli department is dirty and you will never find anyone buying cold cuts from the deli. Bathrooms look like that have not been cleaned in at least a year. And the produce is always rotten.

I didn't really have a bad experience until this morning where I drank from some coconut water that I bought from this ingles yesterday. It expired August of 2022. I bought it on Feb 21st of 2023.

Had cheese on sale 1.88 a block expired August 23rd 2023, it is now Sept 26th 2023. Told the manager who was surprised but went back to his office instead of checking the expiration dates. Ingles has good sales but you must check the expiration dates

This is my favorite store. They really do have the best meat in town, and a huge selection. They also have a great organic and whole food selection. Some of the employees aren’t so great, but that’s everywhere that you go.

I was living in Liberty SC for 16 years. And the Ingles there was spotless and a pleasure to shop in. This Mauldin location is not the same. The bathroom was filthy with no toilet paper and I quickly walked out. The store was ok. But also not very tidy as a supermarket should be. They were also out many items. It's an ok place to pick stuff up. But I was disappointed.

Got the same products same exact products at Walmart for cheaper. All my groceries here in ingles was !70! While at Walmart was !40!!!! Like nah ingles they steal so much that’s a 30 difference could get a full tanks of gas with 30! Never shopping here again nah!

Reason for this review is because I did self checkout. I've had the longest day it felt like on the planet at my job and I needed to get some things to make dinner for my family. I was in such a rush and in such really like a bad mood, upset and all. In the midst of all I was distracted and I left my phone at the self checkout. Before I even realized it when I got in my car to let my husband know I was on my way home, the lady tending to the self-checkout was already outside trying to find me. She reminded me that life is important and I needed to slow down sometimes. And that's exactly the message I needed to hear that day. She is absolutely a value to your company! And we need more people like her in this world!

We shop here all the time but, some of the ladies in the deli department are rude. One lady was being rude to her coworker in front of the customers. She was being rude to us because we wanted 3 sides with our meat plate and not two. Several times we have had this to happen. Rest of the store is ok.

I love this ingles and I come here often, normally I have no issues but this morning. I was in the meat department and requested ground beef. The young lady stated it would be a few minutes so I continued picking up the other items. I returned to the meat department. Still no ground beef. So I waited for her to come out of the back. When she did she looked at me and returned to the back, after about 15 minutes she brought ground beef to the window but only sat it down unwrapped to return to the back I waited another 10 or 15 minutes for her to the repeat this process never stopping even wrap one pack of ground beef so that I could just be on my way. Instead she returned to the back again and again, stacking ground beef in the window. I decided to continue to wait it has already been at least 40 mins. This was very rude and could have been handled very differently. I ended up speaking with the manager who was very nice and decided to go to the meat department herself to wrap a couple of packs. I very much appreciate her. For the young lady in the meat department maybe a refresher on customer service.
