This store is amazing, I've never walked in and not been told "let us know if you need any help" immediately. I could not located something and an employee must have seen my serious face and knew i needed help. Not only did he find me what i was looking for he also found me another option. The staff is always friendly. i also get to work with Josh through my job and he is always checking in and making sure we have everything we need. Really cant say more about how great this Ace is. Its the little details for me!

Had two keys cut here for our Chevy equinox. The gentleman that cut the keys did a great job. I have been in this store multiple times and each time I leave very happy. The employees are very nice and helpful. Much prefer going here rather than Home Depot or Lowe's. You get better service here than at the other places.

Our Cashier, Pennelton was so lively and helpful today. As we entered the store she asked us if we needed help finding anything. To me that was super helpful in such an intricate store. My mom and I browsed a little bit before going up to the register again to request a bag of play sand from the lot. She was our cashier and was super helpful. Then, she promptly asked another team member, Gary, if he could help us put the sand in our car. He was more than happy enough to assist us. He was very friendly, inviting, and provided great customer service to us. Will definitely return again as my mom shops here all the time and loves it!

Super quick and easy experience. I went in looking for a couple of replacement light bulbs. Every one was super friendly and welcoming. Gary helped me find the exact bulbs I needed and was very knowledgeable and personable!

I live near the Woodruff Rd location, but they did not have what I was looking for. So I ventured to the Mauldin SC location. This location is slightly bigger and had a lot of items to chose from, they had several bug sprays there to chose from for my porches. (The wasps and yellow jackets build lots of nests on my porch every summer). As I walked in I was greeted by Gary who helped me chose the right spray. (I was impressed because other hardware stores I’d been I didn’t get greeted, and even on the rare occasions I venture into one for something I’m thinking whatever when I arrive and am spoken to, more on that later). He was very knowledgeable about the products and very professional providing great customer service, so great I came back through the store as I looked for other household needs and asked his info on various other products. I even got some air filters for my house. I’m usually offstandish when I go into stores as I prefer to go in and out with the quickness and often times am hard to please when I encounter others trying to assist. But I felt welcome there after the warm greeting when I came in and my cynical smirk/frown changed…ACE’s store brand is just as good as the name brand products if not better. Checkout was easy (I prefer paying with cash and they take cash), but it would have went faster had the cashiers hadn’t been distracted chit chatting amongst themselves (not enough to take a star away), but I will still come to this location for all my hardware and other household needs, it is a family like feeling in the store not the oversized huge commercial feeling you get in Lowes or Home Depot.

I do like the customer service at this store. I had a Weber spirit E 210 put together at this location. They should have a follow up service to make sure things are going well. It's not going well in me getting it started. It's simple to ignite. I would recommend them putting it together or it's Weber's complicated build.

This is the best Hardware ever! Unlike big chains they are helpful, courteous, have amazing rewards programs. My husband died a year ago they go the extra mile to explain build and deliver equipment. Extremely knowledgeable even the youngest gentleman. They know you by name. In today's World my God service honesty are rare but common place at Ace!

Thousands of dollars spent here recently. I finish the job and try to return about $60.00 in tape without a receipt and it’s a hard no. All I wanted was store credit. Well, I’ll drive the extra few miles to Home Depot from now on. These people seen me every other day for a year. Go somewhere else, they don’t appreciate you !

This is the second time in a week that Ace Hardware of Mauldin has once again showed that they care nothing about their customers. Today my son and I walked in with no acknowledgement from the 3 employees by the front entrance. We go to get the items we needed. My son asked a question to a employee walking by and he said hold on he would be right back. We never saw him again. Then we get up to the register and Griffin was the cashier. There was a older lady in front of us with a cart full of plants and hanging baskets. He rang her up, didn't offer to help her with anything or call to one of the 2 guys standing outside to help her with anything. So my son offered to help her out with her things. Then Griffin started to ring up my order. Out of the 11 things we got he put 7 of them in the same bag. Then I asked him to please put the rest of the things in bags as well. He rolled his eyes at me and sighed like I asked him to do something so horrible. The way he bagged the 2 out of the 3 bags, he busted one bag of bird feed & cracked the bird feeder I just bought. He was the most rude employee I have ever met and has no idea what customer service is about.Think twice before shopping here. It's worth the longer drive to get better customer service elsewhere. This store needs to fire their employees and hire new ones. Because these young boys are only there for a paycheck and nothing else.

Ace hardware of mauldin and their locksmith department was nothing short of amazing! I came in to get my Ford truck fob and key cut and had both my toddler and baby with me. My truck wouldn’t start because of a key issue and they went above and beyond to go out and figure out the issue with my key and truck. They got me a new key and fob and made sure to go out to my truck and make sure it was going to work and to correlate them, while letting me stay in the warm store with my babies. These guys are great and go way above and beyond. Highly recommend going to ace in mauldin for any of your key/locksmith needs! Thanks again guys!

Might as well be working at McDonald's. No knowledge. Wasted 30 minutes driving and 20 minutes teaching them about drill bits because they didn't have what they said they did. This ace does not have their stuff together.

Nice store with most anything you could need. Everyone is always helpful and nice, with the exception with a lady who works the register. At first i thought she was just having a bad day, but after several interactions I have discovered she just has the people skills of a tree stump. I far prefer this store over any big box store. Comparable prices and employees are generally helpful.

I would like to say that Jake Davenport is one of the nicest young men that I have had the pleasure to deal with. Ace hardware might not always be the cheapest on certain items but having and employee like Jake is why I come back over and over, this young man is always upbeat and always trying to help you in some kind of way from opening the door to just greeting you with a smile and kind word, thank you Jake for being a man of God and not being afraid to show it!!!!!!!!!!!

Great owner, kind staff, always helpful! Give them your business!I do a lot of business with Ace Hardware. I'm a professional painter, and I buy all of my paint from the Mauldin or Hudson Corner store. In general, ACE is fantastic to work with. Today, I even brought my guitar (of all things) into the Mauldin store. The screws in the strap-locks weren't adequately tapped into the body of the guitar, and I needed a solution so that I could play in church without risking my guitar falling and hitting the ground. Chris and Ben worked with me to find a solution to my problem. I literally brought my guitar into the store, took it out of the case, and Chris worked with me to find the right combination of bonding glue/screws/washers to solve my problem. I doubt that employees at Home Depot or Lowes would even consider touching my guitar out of concerns about liability. I'm thankful for Chris' willingness to take me from point A to point B in truly solving the issue I came to the store with. They weren't just interested in my money, they were interested in helping me with my problem. Give your locally-owned ACE hardware your business instead of going the giant chain hardware stores that don't properly train their employees.

Walked in Saturday morning with my dead car fob that I couldn't open up because the tiny screw holding it closed was stripped. Had a great experience because an employee, Steven, took the time to brainstorm with me how to fix it, was able to get the screw out, helped me find the right battery, and put it back together in about ten minutes! It saved me a most likely expensive and frustrating trip to the dealership, and only cost me around 5 dollars to buy the battery. Great experience and very thankful for the professional and helpful staff at this location.

This is a super convenient place to get what you need and get out quickly. The stuff is well informed on their inventory and very helpful. It kind of gives you the small town hardware store feel.

So i show up at 7:57 and the store opens at 8:00 and the clerk opens the door to ask me what i needed that the store doesn't open until 8. So i ask him are you going to make me wait 3 minutes to pay cash for an item i desperately need and his response was YES. WOW he this store sure could use a lesson in customer service. First time i ever had bad service at an ACE store. GO TO ANOTHER ACE THAT VALUES YOUR BUSINESS

I spent $35 at the uhaul place on Grove rd to fill my two propane tanks. Never again! I went to Ace Hardware and got them filled for $24. The guys there didn't ignore me like uhaul did. They were sweet enough to take the tanks out of my trunk, fill them and put them back in for me. I'm disabled and they did it all. Wonderful crew. I will be shopping there from now on. Thanks to the guys at Ace Hardware. Y'all rock!

Nice place to gat spray paint they have different colors. If you can't fine any in Walmart r they will have plenty there. Little pricey though.

Love this place being right here in the middle of Mauldin. Go there for certain things I know I can pick up quickly. Ask the courteous staff where things are and they always know. The old in-and-out and nobody gets hurt kind of place for me! I'm sure I'll be back there soon enough. Michael
