The freezer door was left open, and all the meat thawed out. So I called to see if they could use the meat. The meat was thawed but not spoiled. They helped us by taking the meat. There was about 100 lbs. of meat. They were happy and I was happy to help.

Reached out due to finding a family of cats living under my porch. I am new to the area and was trying to figure out my options. Was completely blown off. Sad thing is this is how everywhere is so animals suffer because people who are there to help refuse to or at least tell someone the process to help the animals I'm this area.

We found the sweetest puppy on North End of Lake Marion who Olivia named Lucky she was apparently abandoned by the owner due to a prolapsed anis. We called several vets in the area to help Lucky and not one of them would help!!! That was so frustrating to me being that they make good money you would think one would have a ❤️!! The only place that showed compassion and love is the Second Chance Shelter for animals. They did not even ask for s donation but we did give them $100.00 and my goal for the rest of my life is to find ways to help The Second Chance Shelter for taking care of all the animals who are left behind !! May God Bless this shelter any any one out there who has spare change let’s him them like they love and give our fur babies a second chance !!

Rude...Rude...Rude lady. They are no help. Got extremely ugly with my husband...we found a puppy and took it there...she was so mean...she even ran outside and wrote down my license plate number and told him she would call the police on us if WE abandoned the puppy....What??? I will not support this place!!!

Sorry excuse for an animal rescue! Rude workers! VERY RUDE! Every time an animal gets dumped at my house and I try to take them there and they ALWAYS have an excuse of why they can’t take them! So have to drive to drive all the way to the SPCA cause they always take them, and take excellent care of them along with finding them a home! Second chance is TRASH!
