Unfortunately my husband and I will be doing our shopping elsewhere. The cashier, Isaiah was evidently in a bad mood. He did not speak to us and was tossing our groceries in bags and then tossing the bags at us. The things that were not bagged were thrown on the counter. I approached the Assistant Manager on our way out and told her how our service was and she grinned and said “he’s just having a bad day.” No apologies were given and it was very dismissive. We spend a few hundred dollars on groceries weekly and are loyal customers, but we would rather go somewhere where you feel welcomed and taken care of. The poor old man in front of us was trying his best to make small talk. Shame on you guys for not holding your terrible cashier accountable. If you are aware someone is having a bad day and CLEARLY hates his job why would you put him on register? Your customers are the reason you have jobs and make money. Do better.

There steaks have gone to trash bought can’t find any good looking meat from there anymore then I bought a baked potato look good from the outside but opened up and was solid green then bout some garlic potatoes and they were growing roots and completely turned to mush already with the amount of money we are all spending we should at least have somewhat fresh food

Pick-up was easy. However, they were out of some items, and the substitutions were ridiculous. Someone needs to teach the employees who are doing the shopping to make those substitutions as close as possible. Example: if you order a pepperoni pizza, and they're out, then substitute it with another meat pizza, not a 3 cheese.

Caught employee vaping in the deli this morning. Been going to this store for years and have always been pleased. Well stocked and friendly associates but today was an exception. Not only did they see me and not wait on me, when I came back after getting groceries, I caught her vaping and then she was afraid to come out to help me I think.

This is our local grocery store so we shop here often. They are usually stocked with everything that we need except for the Milo Sweet tea that my son loves. It seems to be only in stock about once a month on our shopping trips.

Beware of the deli in this particular store....the deli mgr is really nasty ...if she has to slice meat she will even tell you that the slicer is broken so she doesn't have to wait on you..have had problems with the sanitation practices ...some nasty ppl in this particular deli...and the Mgrs. don't seem to really care.

9:55 pm on a Sunday, literally slowest cashier I've ever witnessed. Please for the love of God install self checkout.This isn't the first time I've been struck by how slow the cashiers are at this place. Can't ever count on a quick trip to food lion, spend two minutes grabbing my food, and 10-15 standing in line.

People working there are very friendly and ready to help always. Service is always wonderful. Prices are good but shelves with products, dairy and meat should be disinfected. They don’t smell bad.

I only shop here when I need something I know they have. Their Bakery area is always fresh and they usually have the Ben & Jerry's ice cream I like. Great prices too.

Server was young. He seemed to not want to be there. I didn't have a food lion card. He made no effort to offer one. I asked him to help me find what he needed to scan my card on the phone. He said he didn't know how. It was not a pleasant experience.

I’m usually not one to leave reviews, but I had a pick up order and I had bags missing in my order. I called the store and spoke to Cameron, he told me to come back to the store and he would fix it. I came back and he found the rest of my order. He was extremely helpful and such a kind person. My experience wasn’t great in the beginning but he definitely fixed it. He truly cared. Thank you Cameron!

The kid who rang me up was begging the manager for training. I thought he was just trying to hang out with the trainer. Turns out that he put the one hot item I bought (rotisserie chicken) in the same bag as the one cold item I bought (heavy cream). Train your people Food Lion! Do better!

Would have been five stars but low quantity of Ribeyes and NY strip.Food Lion has the absolute best quality steaks and I've had Costco, fresh market, and whole foods.

Some of the worst customer service I’ve ever seen. If you can’t provide decent customer service don’t work in customer service. Witnessed a cashier slinging groceries in an elderly ladies buggy because they were heavy items.

Food Lion has become my go to grocer since we moved. Prices are better than other area chains, they're clean and have descent selection and variety.

Stood at the customer service desk for over 15minutes without anybody asking me if I needed assistance. All the cashiers would just look at me. I finally asked one and he went to go ask and they replied with I had to wait. Great Customer Service!!! All I needed was a money order.

I never buy meat anywhere except Food Lion. Steaks and roasts are always tender. Friendly employees. The only reason why I didn’t give them 5 stars is because they don’t keep their shelves stocked very good. I don’t know if they can’t get the stuff to stock their shelves or what. I know this is a tough time for everybody.

I was thinking the half empty shelves every single week were due to supply chain issues. Now that I have been to other stores I see that it is a store issue. I could not find a single meat or dairy product I needed. Never any water. Frozen foods sold out. Lunchmeats always half empty. Its ridiculous to want to stop here and always have to run to another store for the most basic items afterward. The associates stocking shelves are extremely helpful, friendly, and approachable. The cashiers much less so. A manager there made a point of speaking to several white people in line while ignoring my Latino husband and the black family in front of him. Could be a one off but the way he went about it definitely made an impression. I will be driving an extra 10 minutes away to shop at another chain.

Everything they sell is last minute before expiration some product like ciabata bred grown mildow in the fridge one day after purchase. I would not recommend shopping there if you want quality. personally I shop some place difference

I usually shop Food Lion to go. I gave it four stars because they are always out of stock for the products that I shop for. I will say that my shopper was very communicative in every aspect, I appreciated that! 5 stars for service...

This store used to be the best 2 years ago. Back when James ran the store it was great. My favorite store. Since he left it’s been downhill from there. All the cashiers and even some managers are robots. No hospitality whatsoever. No “Hi”, or “How’s it goin?” or anything whatsoever. You walk up to the register and nothing is said. The managers don’t seem like they’re trying to make the store better. This store doesn’t have much competition around them so they just don’t care about their customers anymore, and it’s ridiculous.
