Took in a stray kitty who had several dental disease and couldn't eat bc of it. They got her in quickly and we're able to do her dental with extractions for a fraction of the other office I got a quote from. They took fantastic care of her. Here's a picture of the sweet girl now that she's feeling better.

Our chihuahua had surgery scheduled but his condition was worsening much faster than anticipated. We called Loris Animal hospital and informed them and they took him in first thing Monday. We are grateful for the excellent care given to our little dog and for their compassion and kindness. I highly recommend Loris Animal Hospital.

The best prices and the nicest staff!! I recommend this place to all that need their fur baby's checked out , just get there early in the morning cause the line gets long.

Dr Hartman and her team have been nothing but amazing with all my pets. I have a dog who has a complicated disease called IMHA. Dr Hartman was the one who found it and was so supportive on such a tough day. She sent us to a specialist immediately and she’s been doing the follow up labs and check ups on my dog. She shows genuine enthusiasm every time my sick baby is making progress. I’m so grateful I found her clinic!

From the worst reviews I expected Debbie to be unfriendly. All the other reviews were great for everyone else. Maybe those people were having a bad day, because Debbie was as nice as everyone else! I got there late, never have been there before. Apparently they do surgeries really early, then take a break. My cat was fixed a few days ago by a different place and the sutures opened up. Apparently it wasn't that big of a deal, although she had a fever. They gave me antibiotics and some pain meds for her. Also suggested that I keep up with the CBD treats to keep her calm, since that seems to work for her. I told her that I'll give the cat some, and I've got the human version for me! We can all be "Catatonic"!

From my point of view there is no other hospital for Cats and Dogs in my area.I simply love veterinarian Julie Hartman, she always comes in the room with that beautiful smile and excellent professionalism, I have already been to another veterinary clinic and made a request to resolve a problem with my little dog and unfortunately this other clinic didn't take it seriously enough to solve my problem, but when I explained my situation to her she put herself in my place and helped me.The team that helps her are also very kind and loving towards our beloved pets.

I am only giving this place one star because it’s the only way I can give a review. I called this vet the day before and was told to be there early as possible and wait at the door.I stood outside for 30 mins… when they opened the door Debbie told me since I wasn’t first in the parking lot I couldn’t be seen first. And proceeded to ask those behind me who was first in the parking lot. This is absolutely the most ridiculous procedure I have ever heard of. And Debbie is super rude and unprofessional. Never been anywhere that is supposed to helpful to someone that allows someone working there to be that rude! I see she has multiple complaints! This should tell you something!I explained to Debbie my dog was dying in my car and I had been standing there waiting to get in in the cold. She said I could be seen after all the people in the parking lot. After her nasty attitude and lack of empathy I left.I went straight to Meadowlawn and they took us right in. I would NEVER recommend this establishment to anyone! If this is how you treat people I definitely would NOT want you treating my dog. Bad business procedure in my opinion.

Dr. Julie is the kind of person who goes above and beyond for your pet. After my awful experience at another hospital, she was able to set me straight for a fraction of the cost and wait time. Please come here FIRST for anything your pet needs. They are so wonderful. I'm very grateful for them helping get my kitten's nasty abscess on a treatment plan. Their care is top notch

The Lori's Animal Hospital is by far one of the best vets offices I've been to in a very very long time! The staff is friendly and we never feel rushed when it's our furbabies turn with the vets! All of our questions get answered honestly (no matter how many questions we might have).

We recently moved to the area and have brought our new kitten and 4 year old cat to lorris. Our 4 year old baby recently got sick and because of lorris he is back to his usual self. The vets and front staff are always very friendly and answer any questions we have. We are incredibly grateful for lorris. 💙

Can’t say enough how absolutely wonderful my experience (and my pup’s) was. If I could give more than five stars, I would! It was a little bit of a drive but 100% worth it. The price was completely reasonable and they had my girl in and out in under 30 minutes for the walk in. I thought I’d be waiting so I came a little early just in case and only had to wait about 30 minutes for the actual visit. Totally understandable. Dr. Hartman was sweet, kind and so understanding. She explained everything that was happening with my pup’s ears and explained everything she was giving her and why. The last vet I went to was awful, spoke down to me and was rude to my pet. It was such a relief seeing someone treat my pet like the baby she is. Thank you so much, Loris Animal Hospital and thank you Dr. Hartman! 💕

If you live at the beach and you're in need of urgent care for your pet on a Saturday morning or any other day, don't waste your time driving here.They are a first come, first serve clinic and do not take appointments. This may sound convenient, but they also can turn you away.We had been clients of this clinic for many years, under the previous owner, Dr. Baughman. The practice was run very differently back then. If your pet was in really bad shape, they would help. They were in a little building, nothing flashy like it is today.The clinic was sold, and now is just another flashy corporate style business.It is very disappointing when one has enough faith in a business to continue to bring pets from the beach to them only for one day to find that you're nothing more than a number.Our cat was in dire pain. He was driven early to the clinic (a good amount of time before they opened), waited in line only to be turned away... the person ahead of us was the last one to be admitted. Although we pleaded and explained our circumstances, they refused to look at him. Mind you, this was not a consult to get flea medicine, or a rabies shot. This was an animal in pain.So, our poor cat, in pain and distressed in a carrier, had to endure yet another long trip back to the beach, back home, until we could find a vet that would see him.In case you are not familiar with this practice, one can't make an appointment, it is first come first serve, you must get there early, which we did. It turned into a gamble to go there with a pet in need. They refused to see our pet.Don't take that gamble with your pet, find a vet that you know will accept your pet.We are very disappointed in this clinic as they proved today that they are no longer about the pets and have little regard for the people that helped them grow into their new building with repeated patronage and recommendations.I can no longer recommend this business in good faith to anyone, especially if your pet needs to be seen urgently.

Absolutely love this office. Everyone is kind, courteous and show our family members love every visit. P.S.A. When you arrive make a mental note of who you arrived after and maybe walk up to those before you so you know where you sit in line. There is no sign in sheet so if you choose to stay in your vehicle rather than stand outside the entrance door you may encounter others who showed up later than you who believe they were ahead of you in line. With that being said I highly recommend this business.

Dr. Julie is why I make my drive to Loris for my fur babies. She truly loves animals and it shows. She helps with our daschunds and was there for us when it was time for my Hannah girl to cross over to Rainbow Bridge, showing her so much love and compassion. Would not trust my babies with anyone else. She is truly amazing and her way with animals is truly the gift God has blessed her with.

Love that they will see/treat your pet even if they are not an established patient there.There are no appointments though except for scheduled procedures.Show up early to sign up as they fill up quickly.Prices are less than what was my regular vet charged.(This is where I will bring my animals from now on!)The service from the staff and the treatment were both excellent!

If there was an option for zero stars, I would choose zero. It’s a shame because the vets are so wonderful there. With walk-ins only it is utter chaos in the morning, with people trying To cut you in line and fights breaking out. The front staff are some of the most unkind, uncompassionate, miserable people I have ever come in contact with, With the exception of the one with short hair. The lady with the blonde hair that works at front desk. It's probably the rudest person I have ever met in my life. She is also unkind and extremely lazy. The only time I see her get up and do anything is if someone brings in sweets for the office then she actually moves pretty fast. If you want to go somewhere, that is kind and compassionate towards you, and especially your animals, find somewhere else to go, this is not it. I have seen them turnaway an animal in distress, firsthand due to the walk-in only policy, which I gladly tried to give up my spot to. Stay away from this place if you love and care about your animals like they are your family.
