Dollar general needs to stop opening up so many stores and start stocking the ones that they have. They never have enough employees and the shelves are always bare of everyday necessary items for weeks at a time. I have a Dollar general probably a quarter of a mile from where I live and I have to travel to Walmart 20 miles away to get items I should be able to get at my backdoor. This goes for pretty much any Dollar general I go to. The new ones are stocked well but once they've been there for a few months the store goes down hill.

Usually dollar general I don’t mind shopping but this store never stocked. Aisles of aisles of bare shelf’s. I give them credit it busy and items sold out. Whole month of bare no thanks.

Always enjoy shopping at this Dollar General. Never thought we would have one so close to our farm. It's great to stop by or leave the farm dirty and pick up anything from quick buys to expanded shopping. Prices are great and employees always courteous and helpful.

I picked up an item off the shelf that had a price of $7.95 on the tag in front of it on the shelf. The tag stated it was for that item. When I got to the checkout, they charged me $10.50 plus tax. When I said the shelf tag had said $7.95, they just said that was for a different item even though the shelf tag specifically listed this item. They would not give me that price, so I said I didn't want it. The checkout got all annoyed and said she had to get the manager to do a return. When the manager finally showed up, she was not very friendly and acted like I was cutting into her personal time to do this return.

Dollar General in our Loris area the store is very clean and the aisles are kept open as to be a problem with some others. The staff is always very helpful. Very highly recommend

I love dollar General. I would cheat and give 10 stars if I could,or if they could stock their store. It seems every time,no matter which store tubers the same polular items are empty.I was a groc.manager I understand they want company dollars in accounts earning interest not tied up in a backroom collecting dust. I could single handedly rectify this issue with out filling up a backroom,they have an ordering system where items are sent that cpu or someone anticipates the store will need I'm told,but no matter. Every time I go nothing but gaping holes,the same holes in every store I go in,and several are around me

This is by far the best dollar general around my area. They are always stocked up and the store is ALWAYS clean and organized. I have definitely made this my DG. ❤️

Each Dollar general is different. The one in loris is very dirty inside and out. shelfs are never ever full. But lately all the Dollar general stores shelfs are low and employees are overworked. Not good

Out of stock on the same things for over a month and the manager on duty really sucked needs to find her a new place of employment because this definitely isn't her field of work no customer service at all she was there just for a paycheck for real no curtisy at all

Cashier was excellent! Very friendly. Unfortunately the store was trashed. Barely could get around with the cart. Stuff was EVERYWHERE!

I love the convenience of Dollar General. Walmart is always busy with not enough workers or open cash registers and their prices are almost the same.
