Best Dollar General I have ever been to hands down. Incredible service. All of these folks here deserve a raise without a doubt. Friendly, clean, stocked. Everything one could ask for. I would go out of my way to come here, honestly.This establishment has the best staff I have ever come in contact with.

Used self checkout, and it overcharged 20$, had the clerk ring up the order because of technical glitch, one item was left in the cart for 3/12 soda cola wasn't rang up so I didn't get a discount for the items, but I dont steal so I asked him to ring up the other and was charged 8 dollars for 1 12pk of soda cola, he tried to void the order however he wasn't proficient enough to issue a refund. so I'm going to have to file a dispute with my bank. I hope they sort out the glitch and train the employees better

Second attempt to shop at this dollar general. It is exactly 4:14 pm and it’s CLOSED - lol. System is down. Closed at 8:57 pm. Just needed sleep aid. Oh well.

This store needs help with some employees not all but some. I went in to do some doordashing and found all my items but two small ones. I had looked all over the store and couldn’t find them. There were two employees at the check out stand. When I asked could they help me the one girl frowned and said we don’t help door dashers because we don’t get paid to do your job. I was shocked that a employee of this company would not help a customer. It is still a purchase being bought in there store. The other girl behind the counter stated yes I bc will help you she was extremely nice and stated that yes they were out of one item but told me we’re I could find the other item. When I was walking away the first employee stated to the second employee and said we don’t help them even if there is no one in the store or if we have a long line. The second employee said I will help them because that is my job duty. I contacted the general manager 5 times only for him NOT to contact me back. I then asked for the Regional manager to contact me and after the 3 time time calling I am still waiting for him/her to call me back. No COMMUNICATION WHATSOEVER

Review update. ....still 5 stars. Almost lost 2 stars, but Charlene saved the day!!!!I was impressed today by the smiling staff, and stocking shelves and I have great expectations with this new crew.I had a small issue, and the cashier didn't understand why the Digital Coupon did not come off my purchase. Instead of figuring it out, she said she didn't know why.I asked a few times how we fix it and she did not know. .....I started getting worried about this new crew and this NEW review was going to start losing stars and go downhill..... the cashier asked the manager .....The manager stepped up and explained to the cashier what she needed to do, showed her, and explained "we must make sure the coupon comes off before we charge them". The cashier agreed and hopefully this small issue was a learning lesson.This Dollar General has come a long way and as much volume as they do, they need good well trained employees.Thank You Charlene (hope I spelled it right) for your quick training action, you didn't get upset, you didn't make excuses, and you trained with a soft calm voice with a smile as it should be. Excellent!!!!!!!!!!

Dolar General, in general, are dirty, have unopened boxes of merchandise sitting on the floor, trash on the floors & understaffed in alot of locations. Place us simply a Mess.

The staff and especially the GM there is unbelievably friendly and helpful. Top notch customer service!! The GM is very nice and will rectify any problem immediately until you’re happy & satisfied. Highly Recommend This Dollar General!! Cleanest, most organized, and the friendliest dollar general I’ve ever been to.

This store is back to being one giant mess. It was organized, clean and well stocked for awhile but has gone downhill the past year. The smell of cigarettes is overpowering the second you exit your car, from employees.

The employees were helpful and courteous and even thank me for coming in and while I leaving the cashier said please come back and visit us again soon! I was very impressed with the staff. Thank you for going the extra mile to make your customers feel welcome!

I WOULD NOT GO HERE IF SOMEONE PAID ME TO. They are not educated on their own store coupon policy's and apparently don't like to do extra work involving pushing buttons and thought process. It's Also a very dusty store with very little products on the shelf. I wish I could put negative stars ugh... what an aweful experience!!!! I'll go to family dollar up the street if I want to be treated poorly but at least they are clean 😡🤢

A decent shopping place, that is reasonably priced when on a budget or unable to get to a shopping center. Not a large variety of household items, food, or necessities. Customer service is okay but not great. Overall could use improvements, but is okay.

The manager is very rude (Old lady with long gray hair and glasses). Does not know how to issue refunds and makes up her own rules for sales that are advertised for all DG stores.

It’s close to home & great in a pinch. Wish the place was neater & everything was priced staff is helpful & friendly. Maybe a little more staff would fix these small issues

Keeping up with our needs is hard the staff does the best with what they are provided, they are extra helpful, we must be patient but they are very willing to help, even if their store doesn't have it will try n help you find, or see when or if they are getting items that run out

Shopped here often in VA. Was pleased when I moved to Longs, SC, and found it is practically across the street! Decent prices on many items. Polite and helpful staff!

Well when we first went in noticed or was dirty looking only seen one person upfront working I believe they might have been one in the back of the store but was not putting nothing on shelves stuff was sitting in baskets blocking Isles could not get around to really look at what you was trying to find did not think much of this Dollar General

I'm in DG at least 3-4x a week in Little River, on 111. The Staff is Awesome. Very polite, fast service. They are always willing to help when needed

Let you know you're losing business because you can't even fix your beer cooler. It's ridiculous I've been in there once a week for six weeks and I've gone somewhere else to get cold beer really sad that you can't fix a refrigerator
