Good work getting rid of the "lampshade" party workers... the store has made good improvements with the addition of the fresh foods bar. I only wish that it had arizona green tea and baby spinach. That would be my last stop all in one store.

Clean and more organized than most stores . Theres a lot of younger guys working there and they do q great job. You never see them just sitting around. They are always out stocking and straightening merchandice and available to help. Its a good one and its in a very safe location.

This is a terrific little store. Clean and well managed. The staff is friendly and helpful. They have a little of this and that. A great place to run in and do some value shopping , especially for household items and snacks. Highly recommend!

I find the upgrades a wonderful thing!!! The friendly down to earth employees makes shopping a even better delight...and since the upgrades whatever the items,it's in stock,yeahhhh!! And yes I will shop here aga6,just like I always do!!👍👍🌝

Great staff at this store! Store clean n organized well. Corporate Training management needs to provide workers with some type of training for Western Union services provided by Dollar General. The employees did not get ANY training! Figuring out how to send using WU app caused a significant holdup of customers waiting to checkout. This has happened on more than one occasion. Clerk attempted to contact WU and could not hear WU representative because if background noise of the WU call center. Then the DG clerk was disconnected by WU call center rep...frustrating n several customers waiting to check out.

While this Dollar General is slightly below average at face value, with the unkept landscaping and deteriorating parking lot (its old of course), I find that every time I visit the store is, for the most part, organized and in stock with what I’m looking for. Unlike what has been mentioned in other reviews, I’ve yet to have a negative experience visiting this location. It should be noted that if and when you see those big carts “blocking the aisles and certain shelves” that they had just received their truck and are trying their best to work said truck as quickly and efficiently as possible. Please keep in mind that at Dollar General, they only have enough of a Labor budget to have two-three people staffed each shift, with the rare occasion of maybe four. However, I’ve never seen more than three people at one time here. So with that in mind, maybe imagine being in their shoes, trying to work a whole store’s truck with such a small team. In conclusion, this store is doing just fine over all and people who visit here simply need to lower their unreal expectations of working class people’s productivity. There’s no need to act bougie by putting working class people and their jobs down, people.

Unfriendly staff, cluttered store, and outside landscape in bad need of weed and tall grass removal. If you park in a space on the perimeter, you'll step in tall crab grass.The only Dollar General I have seen like this one. I love shopping at Dollar General. Made a quick stop at this one on the way back from North Myrtle Beach and was surprised at its condition especially on a high traffic highway near the beaches.

The staff here is very unprofessional. I pulled up and all the employees were outside smoking cigarettes. I had to go outside to get assistance only for the associate to look aggravated while she put her cigarette out. This store is unorganized and poorly kept.

Staff was fine on my trip, store is very cramped I wouldn't dare try to look for clothing in this store. You can't move between racks and it's everywhere (the floor).

My boyfriend and I went to the Dollar General in Longs,SC tonight about 8:30 pm EST on 9/3/14. We were getting a few items when a man approached us and jerked the item out of my boyfriends hand and said he was going to shop lift the item, WHILE WE WERE STILL IN THE STORE!!! Now we go in this store numerous times a day and never have had any issues with any employee in the store until tonight. The man then pull out a knife on my boyfriend and told us to leave the store. I am in full business wear and my boyfriend is in tight fitting clothes, and then he actually said to my boyfriend, "What are you going to do about it N***er!!! He refused to give me his name but the other employee provided his name which is, KEN!!! I am a white female and my boyfriend is a black male. KEN is a white male employee!!! I filed a police report and plan on filing a law suite against the store for his actions! 1) that is racial harassment , 2) racial profiling, 3) attempted assault with a weapon, 4) Deformation of character, 5) public embarrassment, 6) COMPLETE DISRESPECT!!! My boyfriend has NO CRIMINAL RECORD EVER IN HIS LIFE!!! We go in this store multiple times a day with NO ISSUES until tonight!!! I have never in my life experienced this type of racism, and complete disrespect from anyone in my entire life!!! I have filed a complaint with customer relations, who said they would be contacting the district manager, Mike Lock, and I also plan on contacting the store manager, Laura, tomorrow morning, as well as my attorney!!!! This is 100% UNACCEPTABLE!!
