Montana was our beagle's groomer and she did an awesome job! It was definitely time for a bath and when we got Sadie back she smelled clean, she was soft, and got a cute bandana. We will definitely request Montana next time Sadie needs a bath!

Took my dog in for grooming, which was supposed to include a bath, haircut, nail trim, gland expression etc... She shaved him lower then agreed and it was did uneven in spots and his nails weren't trimmed. She said he wouldn’t let her but I had never heard that on previous visits. I asked her to trim them down and watched. She was able to do so without issue but she still missed a nail on each paw. She was nice and tried to sell me a plan but I am very disappointed given the price that I paid was over $80. I also found that they were not extracting my dogs glands nor brushing his teeth. She also said he wouldn’t let her do it but I was still charged. Had I not asked I wouldn’t have known all these things weren’t done. I have taken my dog to multiple times and only was pleased the first time. This is the 2nd location I’ve tried. It appears they have high turnover and aren’t hiring qualified groomers

Groomer was so nice and friendly. My dogs seemed very happy being there. Absolutely the best grooming service I have ever had. You could tell that she really spent a lot of time on each dog. Their paws and nails looked great and the best brush out they have ever had. I will definitely be a repeat customer.

I was very satisfied with having Ayla groomed at Petco until her visit right around Thanksgiving. She came back looking beautiful but she started biting her skin all over and scratching every where. I had to bring her for an early grooming appointment yesterday, 12/12/2021. My husband alerted the associate at the front desk (of the grooming section of the store) to her condition and to I paid for the special treatment for the skin. However, Ayla started to bite her skin all over. She looks all ruffled from biting her hair every where. I feel terribly sorry for her. She has been going to Petco for grooming since August with no prior itching or any negative reactions to the shampoos or sprays used.

This is my second time using the grooming service. This second time I still wasn't impressed. They said they couldn't trim my puppy's nails because he freaked out which I totally understand because he's a rescue so I wasn't shocked but all his nails except for 2 were trimmed? They are super rough now though and split. He didn't even smell clean he smelt the same way as when I dropped him off. My other dog Casper (same breed) was still damp but smelt great the first time I went. They said he expressed himself during his nail trim and on the car ride home I started smelling him. I had to bring him home and rewash him. The manager who took him back for his bath was nice but I won't be using the service again, just felt like a waste of money.

Very nice clean did what we asked for and went above to make sure our baby was happy and taking care of . My dog had an ulcer in her eye and the groomer made sure that she cut around her eyes very gentle and even flushed her eyes to make sure that there was nothing left to irritate her eyes. And even the used a sensitive soap for her face would not pick another groomer but petco

The ladies who groom are very loving to my Mila. They take their time and never rush through her grooming. And do a excellent job. The grooming area is also very clean. I highly recommended them and would not think of taking my puppy to anyone else.

My Dora is a very sweet dog, but she is a rescue who gets scared and anxious. She ended up showing her teeth at Rosalie during the session, and she got a little kennel aggressive. Rosalie explained to me what had happened w/o making it seem like Dora was a bad dog, and she gave me some tips on how we could minimize this in the future (express groom appointment and/or scheduling for a historically slower day so that there weren't so many other dogs). She was very sweet and helpful.

Dropped my yorkies off and had to go back and received a call to pick them up because one was "unable to be groomed because he was nervous"....hes always nervous and has gotten groomed for 13 years now. This is why I've never chosen a corporate place and...lesson learned. Won't never again. Only good thing was the bath was free. They were trying to charge me 32 each for their bath and 10 for nails. Nails weren't done and they were dried, both are wet. My dogs are my life. That's ridiculous. 2 stars since I didn't have to pay the $80 for a bath and no nail trim. Thanks for that at least.

Vanessa is my dogs groomer she always goes above and beyond. Peaches is a nervous little thing but she loves Vanessa. She always pays special attention to peaches problem areas her ears, and dry skin. I would recommend her and petco to anyone because she truly treats my dog as her own!

I just saw someone else’s review about how they were treated heret trying to get a refund for Glo fish that died soon after purchase. I had almost the same thing happen to me and the customer service was bizarre. My husband went in to buy Glo fish for our kids and it was suggested to him that he buy another type of fish to go with the Glo fish because that fish would “help clean the tank if the Glo fish died”. Well that fish attacked and killed all but one of the three Glo fish purchased within two hours of being in the tank. In front of my kids. I went back the next day feeling like it wouldn’t be a problem to get a refund. Wow was I wrong. The “fish guy” approached me looking very unkept and messy and not wearing a PetCo shirt. He asked for the dead fish (gross) and a receipt...neither of which I had but I gave him the credit card transaction number along with the exact time my husband was in the store. He said that wouldn’t work and said I didn’t have any proof over how these fish died. At this point I started to get annoyed because we were talking about $8 fish. He then got frustrated and said he was going to call corporate and left me waiting upfront for about 20 minutes. The guy comes back with a copy of my receipt (I never told him my name and he didn’t write down the transaction information....so weird) and tells me that they will give me a refund but I’m no longer allowed to buy fish there anymore. The whole situation was so baffling and I question if I did anything to provoke that kind of customer service. However, after talking to my husband he determined that the same person who treated me so poorly was the one who sold him the fish and suggested he get the killer fish. When I contacted PetCo corporate the response was...“you got a refund we don’t see what the issue is here”. Worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. Sounds like the grooming department is great and the cashier was lovely but steer clear of the fish people!!!!

I am very picky with my dog and no cage. Lynetta always takes care of my dog and does a wonderful job. I drop her off and Lynette takes care of her. Then she calls me a little bit before she is finished so I can get her without being put in a cage. Lynette is the reason I come there because she is so good with my dog, Bella.

warm and caring reception from check in and great grooming. my dogs are 11 and 14 and are very nervous when I bring them in. the groomers take time to talk to them and calm them down. they have great patience.

The groomers at Petco are always very pleasant to work with. Peaches doesn't like new people and is very shy but they always give her a cookie to get her adjusted. When I mention any issues relating to irritated skin or knots they make sure to pay special attention to those areas!

Well I started bringing my JJ to Petco for grooming soon after it opened. Got to know the staff and felt safe with JJ being there. Then staff members started leaving and there was never any consistency with who groomed JJ. Several times, JJ came out smelling like a wet dog even though he was getting the pick 3 spa package and was supposedly getting spritzed. I had decided at that point that we would no longer use Petco for grooming. A few weeks back I came in and spoke with the lead of the grooming dept. She assured me that JJ would get the treatment I paid for and then some. So I came back and got the Lavender package available and was completely satisfied. So I am going to start back with Petcon grooming and will hopefully be satisfied each and every time.

Just went in Petco to exchange a glow fish that passed. When my fiance originally said to come here. I said sure. I had never experienced this store before. I knew when we first came they had rules but not what this guy was insinuating. Because, I purchased 2 glow fish and a turtle as well. I brought the wrong receipt in. That's my fault. The other fish and turtle are just fine. The young guy that I am assuming was a manager handled the whole situation badly. He was arguing about the rules and insinuating that I am one to buy anything from the store myself and hurt it on purpose. That's insulting to myself and my family. Then when I went on the defense about all of it after he twisted everything I said. He finally changed his tone a little. Not enough for me to ever deal with him again. Such a waste of money to pay for an employee who assumes, interrupted me many times, and accused of wrong doing. Rules are good. Power trip is unacceptable for handling customers.

I have a LOUD dog (coonhound). Sometimes, other groomers make me feel uncomfortable like he's a bother. At Petco they always seem like they genuinely like all dogs, even my super noisy one. And the best smelling shampoo EVER.
