I typically love my trips to farmhouse and always leave with something. The staff is very nice and knowledgeable and always helpful. However my latest time coming involved an employee following my mom and I around for the entire time we were there. She was friendly but it was annoying. I had expressed upon walking in we come every year so it wasn’t our first time. I’ve never been followed around the store before. I will still comeback and always enjoy my farmhouse visits but would appreciate not being followed everywhere around the store.

This tack shop is really good! Everyone there is so knowledgeable and helpful. They have a very wide selection. I’ve been going there for years! Definitely worth a visit if you’re at FENCE or any surrounding equine venue! Also the Farm house cabin at Tryon(TIEC) is perfect! They have everything you need for showing! Love, love them! Vicki is very helpful and knowledgeable! But all of them are fantastic!!

Great customer service and super speedy free shipping. I've been looking for a pony sized german martingale for a LONG time. I stumbled upon their website and low and behold, it looked like they had one in stock. Picked up the phone, called the tack shop, and the employee went and physically looked to make sure they had it. They picked it up, wrapped it neatly, and shipped it the same day. Super pleased.

Ordered a USG belt on 1/2/24, received my email order confirmation and my card has been charged but no update to shipping status as of 1/18/24. I’ve emailed to check status and received an automated response back. I’ve called and no one ever picks up, I’ve left a voicemail and no call back. Based on the other reviews I’m seeing on here this is a common occurrence with them. Next step will be contacting my bank since I can’t get a reply from the store. If there is a delay with product just communicate that with me.

**Update**: Friday evening still have not heard back from Farmhouse. I tried calling again and same greeting. Basically we will call you back in 1-3 business days. This is pathetic.As much as I like the products The Farmhouse offers it’s nearly impossible to get a hold of a customer service representative. I left a message on a Tuesday morning and it is now Thursday afternoon, no one has gotten back to me. I will say the message on the automated response does say they can take up to 3 business days to call back. That’s quite a while to wait to resolve a problem.**Issue resolved. Although it is still quite difficult to get a hold of a customer service representative they are trying to improve on this.

I have made a few purchases from Farm House and at the time was satisfied with my experience. I didn't run into any issues until a bridle that I purchased became damaged after about 6 months of use. The edgewood bridle cost over $350 and according to Farm House's own website "its quality just can't be beaten and there is no better standard". The stitching on the noseband has become loose, it did not rip, rather it has simply come out of place which leads me to believe it was a product defect. I have taken care of it based on their instructions but was accused of "rubbing" the bridle which caused the stitching to come out of place which simply isn't true. I originally contacted Farm House in October and at first they were responsive but I have not gotten any updates or even a response since November. I have been very patient and understanding during this process but given the price point and guarantee on their website I would have expected to either get the noseband replaced or the option to mail it back to be repaired. Leaving this review to warn others looking to make sizeable purchases.

I placed an order on 10/30/23 for a pair of kids field boots and received a text saying thank you for your order.. credit card charged, ok now we wait… and wait … nothing else came through so I called to see if I could get shipping info. Had to leave a message. So someone called me back and said they shipped my order to someone else. They were waiting for the order to come back and they would ship it to me… (why since they fully admitted to a mix up didn’t they just ship me new boots, what happens when an item I paid for takes 2 weeks possibly to receive does or doesn’t show up?) So now I’m at the mercy of the inconvenience of the other customer to return something that I’ve already paid for! So, called again and left a message and again today but now I can’t leave a message because the mailbox is full. Ugh! I gave ample time to get my order and now I need it this weekend for a show. This is unprofessional and unacceptable. I have no idea when, or if I will receive my order. Very unsatisfactory and will not recommend to anyone!

First experience with this company. Placed an order, got the thank you…blah blah blah. When you call in they tell you not to leave a message and they will call back. It took a while but Sara called back and she explained the situation. I believe she was doing her best and that is all I can ask. She made it right and this is an edited review. I am happy with the response!

The best customer service ! I was looking for a specific bit and every other place that sold it said it was backordered 4-5 months. I emailed The Farm House who got back to me within 24 hours asking for my phone number. When I quickly replied they called within half an hour ! They happen to have the very bit in stock and I received it all the way in Seattle within 48 hours. It was nicely wrapped/packaged with a hand written note. I will absolutely be a return customer.

Edited 8/14: Michelle was able to step in and provide EXCELLENT customer service. She went above and beyond to make sure I got the right size and boot for what suited me and my riding best. She expedited the whole process and provided frequent updates. I so appreciate her stepping in and making sure I got what I needed, in a timely manner, so I could get back to riding! THANK YOU, thank you!!I have ordered from Farmhouse House Tack before, and everything has been perfect, easy, and quick shipping. However, I placed an order for tall boots on 6/10 and still have not received my boots. I was emailed that my size was out of stock (despite it saying online it was in stock) but they were expecting more on 6/30. The first week of July rolls around and I have not received any update, so I email and ask again. I was told Ariat was closed for 2 weeks due to inventory. I then went on ahead and changed my boot order to something that was in stock in my size, the Ariat Ascent. I was told by the end of this week (7/21) that I would have a shipping notification but I have not received anything. It's been too long and now I have asked to cancel and STILL am unable to get much communication. I feel bad leaving a one star, as the customer service rep I spoke with (Julianne) has been very sweet.

Been a long-time customer, but service has gone down hill. In the past they been very helpful and friendly, but now... its just crickets or slow to no follow-up. I've been trying for the last 10 days to simply return a pair a custom Tucci boots that weren't ordered correctly and also don't fit. For what should have been a simple request, I've sent 5 emails, left 7 voice mails and spoken to two people and only gotten the runaround or "we'll get back to you."They were also going to recommend other in-stock boots that I could try, since the Tuccis were all wrong and now I'm desperate for new ones since the Tuccis took so long to get here, but that never happened either.

Anytime I’m showing up in the Landrum area, I always find time to stop by and I always leave with something. My IHSA coach always took us when we had a show up there since there isn’t any tack stores in south GA. They have great things in stock. Ms. Vicki is always the one helping. I was in the market for a new pair of boots and I have never purchased anything online/over the phone from FH but Ms. Vicki was communicative with what was available and helped with my sizing. She was able to find the estimated Tucci and Ego7 boot size that would fit me best based on the measurements and I ordered based off of her advice. She called the Ocala store and said they had the Tucci’s that were possibly my size in stock and that they would ship the next day after I paid. The Ego7’s were not in stock in the store but they were already “made” and ready to be ordered. I ordered both and paid through PayPal but for some reason, the first payment would not go through on 9/12 and they sent me another payment on 9/13. Ms. Vicki said it was showing it got declined so I opted to pay through ApplePay and it worked. Both PayPal and ApplePay payments went through on my end but hoping that the second PayPal payment will get removed from my side. Ms. Vicki was helpful with working with me to make this process easy. Hoping to receive my boots soon without any hiccups, especially the Tucci’s soon since they’re in the Ocala store. Fingers crossed that they fit!

Even though they were short-staffed (who isn't these days!?) The people here were friendly and helpful. They take into account your budget and will help you locate the items within said budget. I came home with a gorgeous new bridle for my Percheron! I also purchased a gift for my friend and they were able to gift wrap it! Overall, it was a great experience. The people were friendly and the store was well organized and clean.

Absolutely the WORST! My wife ordered a pair of breeches as a gift for Christmas that were never received. She contacted The Farm house many times to no avail. Sara, the manger couldn't be bothered to make it right. Absolutely the worst customer service we have ever experienced from any tack shop! I can't speak as to the physical shop, but the mail order section seems very poorly run. There are many reputable online tack shops; unfortunately, from our experience, this is not one of them. Do yourself a favor and order elsewhere.Michelle, order # 97571 placed 11/18/22; there were multiple email (and even phone I believe) contact attempts with your store- eventually, my wife just gave up and reordered elsewhere. (She did get the breeches elsewhere, as again these were a Christmas gift for a friend, and she wanted to ensure her friend got them, regardless of her poor Farm House experience.)

I purchased 2 pairs of breeches and then returned one pair. I was reached out to when they received the pair back to confirm if I wanted a return or exchange. I said I wanted a return was told my card would be credited in 2-14 days. I waited 2 weeks and still no refund. It’s been several weeks now since the return was processed and I’ve reached out via email twice and called once. I have received no reply and I am very unhappy. If I had gotten a reply to any of the times I reached out I would be understanding but I haven’t. I’m a very frustrated customer and wouldn’t recommend this store.

Wow! This store is great! I ordered a helmet visor from them. They immediately sent an email to say they were out-of-stock and gave me 2 other choices. I called them and was able to actually talk to a knowledgeable person who helped me decide which one was for me. They shipped it immediately! How refreshing!

They were both absolutely wonderful and helped me get the package to the correct person ( as long as fedex doesn’t miss up). Nicest customer service representatives I have ever talked to.

The customer service from the Farm House Tavk online store (I only dealt with them remotely) is absolutely outstanding. I placed an order for a certain brand of tall, brown, field boots and was quickly notified that sadly the item was out of stock and on back order. Farm House Tack went above and beyond to ensure I was paired up with another similar boot that I would love. They were responsive to every email I sent and I were able to send me a pair of boots in a very timely manner. The boots they sent me were much to big, so once again I asked Farm House Tack to help me out and I was able to exchange that size for the correct size. The replacement order came within days (special ordered from their distribution center because it wasn’t in stock in store) and I’m now wearing them and getting so many compliments on them! Farm House Tack’s customer service stands out more than just about any other online tack shop I’ve come across. I’m recommending this store to all of my friends because of the attention to detail and time that they put into making sure I was a happy customer.

This was my first experience purchasing riding boots online and by far the best online ordering experience I’ve had yet! Received a call from Jordan the day after letting me know that the boots were sold on another website and now out of stock as well as discontinued. She advised that she found similar boots available in my size and sent pics. The boots were super similar but not the ones ordered. She contacts me a little later letting me know that since they discontinued carrying those boots they will cover half of the price difference to order somewhere else. I paid for expedited 2 day shipping and asked if the new boot order would include expedited shipping. She informed me that it did, but couldn’t guarantee they would arrive before Wed the following week (needed them to deliver Monday). They delivered on Monday 🙌😊 Jordan was super sweet and helpful throughout the entire process. She made me feel like what I wanted was important, and valued. Hands down my best customer experience ever! Personally I’d be more than willing to pay for this level of customer support, and care! Thank you Jordan, and Team

Let me start by saying, I was in absolute equestrian heaven when I walked into this store. I've been to a lot of tack shops, but none of them carry the amount of stock in store that Farm House does. They have every brand of breeches, jackets, helmets, boots, etc. along with any horse care/tack you could imagine. The best part of this store though, is the service. I had the pleasure of working with Vanna, and as an adult amateur that is reentering the sport it can be intimidating. Being treated like you are stupid in tack stores and by trainers, is a horrible feeling. However, I had the pleasure of working with Vanna. I felt comfortable, and she took the time the answer all of my questions and helped me get everything on my list. She treated me like a friend not a customer and was incredibly knowledgeable. Donna was also wonderful to work with, and I highly recommend Farm House and the entire team there. I won't be going anywhere else for my equestrian needs!

AH-MAZING customer service and product selection. Farm House was recommended to me by a fellow equestrian/trainer, and gosh am I so grateful to her for the rec. So far I've only been able to order online as I live a few states away from the store front, but wow their site is phenomenal. Easy to browse and even easier to search/find specific items using the search bar on the website. I ordered a few things online and within 24 hours I received a phone call from Michelle wanting to discuss my order and offering me comparable options to some of the things I'd picked but newly were out of stock. My package arrived quickly and I received the loveliest hand written note thanking me for my purchase. I will 100% continue shopping with Farm House and cannot wait to visit them in person. Thank you, Michelle and the entire Farm House team!

But you found the time to communicate on a social medial platform??? I see where outward appearances must take precedence to simply responding to an email or phone call or treating your customers as individuals.Still disappointing. At least you have confirmed there is a human associated with FHT. Very disappointed!! I ordered online, and needed to send back boots that didn't fit. They do NOT offer any sort of return stamp or any sort of discount. I had to pay $50 to return these boots. I cancelled the part of my order that did not ship, as I don't want to loose any more money if it does not fit. Customer service was friendly, so I gave an add'l star. :(

Do not do business with this company. They falsely advertise. My daughter purchased a jacket online. It was listed for $85 and the purchase went thru, then I was told it was a mistake from their end and the jacket was $850. It took a while to get our money back and they would not honor the price online. Do not do business with them. They tried to offer us clearance jackets that were like $500 and up or $50 off the $850 jacket. We will be taking our business elsewhere. My daughter wanted this jacket and she was using her birthday money. Sad way to deal with customers.

I have had the most unfortunate experiences with The Farmhouse Tack Shop. Two different times I ordered merchandise that didn't ship. When I called to inquire about the status, no one seemed to know exactly what was going on. I was promised a call back on two different occasions that NEVER came. When I was able to reach a person on the phone, they were always polite and kind. I only wish that made up for the very poor management of order fulfillment and customer service cases.UPDATE: Michelle, I so appreciate the explanation and the goodwill expressed by the gift card. Your follow up on this matter is an example for others to follow. We all drop the ball sometimes. We all communicate poorly sometimes. We are all sometimes subject to circumstances beyond our control. Your effort to make it right counts for a lot, and is an inspiration to me personally and professionally.

This company is extremely slow with receiving orders. Takes an absurd amount of time with returning items and receiving the new order. I would not recommend on buying anything from this company, you will be wasting time and money. Horrible customer service I have waited 9 MONTHS for an order to come in and still have not received it.

Worst place to place a order Ever. Wanted a saddle at Christmas they didn't have my size. They called to say no they can't fill the order they didn't listen to me and said CANCEL the order. April comes and they sent me a saddlewhat the Heck? called and they produced a label and it was sent back to them in April we are in June and I am finely get a text that money is going back on my account. Called the Bank First before I called them and the money isn't in the account yet They said to me that the Accounting Department Dropped the ball . Then they had no excuse in April I called and they produced a label and I had it sent back. We are now in June 20,2022 Still money not in our account. Very unorganized Business.Makes you wonder about there ability to handle money.Jackie White
