Liars. Just being blunt. Underquoted me on lumber by $423.00. Also will not give your money back immediately when you return a product. They want to cut you a check that they say takes a week to cash. Even when it's explained the money for the product returned is going to buy dinner for the kids tonight, their response?, a sacrastic "sorry". Way to go above and beyond for your customers. Hope you all enjoy your dinner tonight while I explain to my kids why all we have to eat is a box of crackers.P.S. Get someone at the counter who can properly add. I can't afford to do business like that!

No sorting thru pallets of junk to find a few good pieces they check every piece and stack it on your trailer. The men in the yard are knowledgeable and very friendly. You pay a little more than the home improvement places but you get quality lumber and you are not pulling it and loading it with no help while the people you just purchased it from stand with their hands in their pockets and watch while you load it. I don’t mind paying for service and quality. That should be what all businesses are based on.

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. They were familiar with their plumbing supplies and took the time to make sure I got exactly what I needed. The prices were competitive, especially when you consider that I drove 5 miles to their location instead of 25 miles. The entire experience was great.

Awesome place! Its a survivor from era long, long ago and a galaxy far away ...long before the lowes and home depots...they are smalltown USA LUMBER YARD AND HARDWARE STORE...carrying top shelf tools(Milwaukee and dewalt)...even better their brands of drill bits, saw blades and router bits are excellent quality and brands to live by. And their lumbers straight!!!quality products and no gadgets!! And they are pet friendly...they are the "community" above standard store

Sales people at Henson were helpful and very professional. Glad I made the trip. Needed parts for cable railing to be installed on a deck. Had exactly what I needed. I will shop here again and highly recommend to anyone asking.

Prices are a little bit high but the service is great and they usually have what I need. Its geared towards the professional construction people, not a place to get your hummingbird feeders and welcome mats.

My wife and I would have been coming here a lot sooner but we were under the impression that it was for contractors only. Man were we surprised !! As far as general items for home and shop they beat out Lowe's and Home Depot hands down!! We highly recommend you stop by and check it out!

A lumber yard that's open on Saturday? Yeah they get my vote. Way better quality lumber than the warped garbage they sell at the orange or blue stores. Definitely worth the drive to shop local.

Best quality lumber. For example, their preservative treated lumber is top grade and fully dry. Building materials and tools, no appliances, but that's fine with me. Knowledgeable staff.

If I could give no 🌟 I would. They're over priced, the guy I got was lazy and didn't do what I ask. I needed 4 individual 5 gallon buckets of paint and he mixed me 5 individual 1 gallon cans. Basically said oh well. Go anywhere else but here. Trust me.

LIke having a Lowes in Tryon! This local chain of lumber, paint and building supplies has everything the big box stores have but just minutes away. the staff is extremely friendly and helpful and we have always been able to find the lumber, paint or hardware we are looking for. This saves a lot of time going to Lowes of HD, which are at least a 45-min. drive away, and the prices are comparable.
