Took my dog in for a bath and trim his nails.... he loves it!!! Everyone in the grooming department is great. They don't rush...they take time to do things right and you can tell they love animals as well. Highly recommend!!

When I enter the store there are no less than 10 dead fish in the tank at any given time. Their fish are crowding the bottom of the tank, dead and rotting, lifeless eyes and bodies that stir when the few remaining fish swim. I made the mistake of buying some of their fish before gasping at the top because I felt bad, and they were so sick they killed off my entire tank. They carry what you need in a quick fix but don’t buy fish here. The fish aren’t taken care of at all and their hamsters and guineas appear sick and stressed at times as well.

I brought our puppy Benji for the first time to be groomed and first time at this location. I must say Michelle Krenzien done a great job grooming him… I could hardly recognize him and he even looked younger😂😍but Michelle is the go to person to groom your pet. Thank you again!

Need the best groomer? Ask for Michelle. She does an outstanding job, very professional. I’ve been using her as a groomer for 4 years. She loves my dog like he was hers. Michelle is one of the best groomers in Lancaster, always willing to fit Cooper in. Give her a try!!

It's no petsmart but they still do well with options for you animals. But they are not as big nor have as many as petsmart. But they do offer grooming in the back and Emily is amazing. I definitely would recommend them for grooming. That's why they get a four star.

My shih tzu was there for over 9hrs. Her head, tail, and toes had not been touched. They lowered the price from $46 to $36 but that is shameful. Not half the job done. We will NOT be back. This is the second visit. First time they didn't follow directions.

I stopped in here because I was in the area, definitely not my usual spot. They don’t have as big of a selection for exotic (reptiles/rodents) as other big name chain stores but the employees here were soooo nice. A man who I’m guessing was the manager talked to us about the animals on display (the absolute cutest baby guinea pigs and rabbits and also snakes and scorpions!) and you could tell he actually cared about the animals and wanted to help us. I wish I lived closer to make this my regular pet store!

Decent place, high priced items. Doesn't carry everything. The store clerk did not know where the items were or that the store even carried the items. We pointed them out just to let him know. He stated he was new. He was very friendly and helpful on the other items. He was attentive to everyone in the store.

My dog is a diabetic, I go to Petsence in Lancaster,SC , He can only eat Merrick dog food, I always ask for "ALEXIA".!! She is very professional and always has a smile on her face!! Petsence is lucky to have her!! ALEXIA goes above and beyond to make sure every customer finds what they are looking for!! Sandy

First and last time I go in here, only poc in there, didn't get a hello from cashier nor the other person working there. Everybody else in there was white and everybody was getting greeted and being talked to. Went to pay guy didn't say anything until i said hello.

If you are looking for a job, don’t work here. The “manager” is very rude and will try her hardest to demean you. Multiple employees have complained about her and it’s sad that she thinks she can talk to teenagers that way. She also thinks if you’re a Christian you should quote “take a step down”.

Bound to get shut down, awful management with no intention of hiring potentials, only two employees work here and one is a temporary manager. (excluding groomers)Cricket containers are faulty, so there's loads of them just hopping around the store. Too lazy for duct tape I guess.

This is a nice clean pet store. The only draw back is they don't like crub service. I bought a 40 pound of kitty litter and asked if I could bring my car to the door and have someone put it in and the cashier told me she was the only one there. However when I moved my car to the door she ran it out.

I love this store! It's clean and the people are so friendly. They usually have all I need for my dog. Food, harnesses, leashes, etc...The pricing isn't to bad either.

This is primary source to purchase pet needs. It is closer to us as far as location. Workers are friendly, well stocked and prices are great. Nice surprise to see the awesome selection they offer on foods!

Lovely place, amazing and friendly staff. I must admit, I did expect a lot more inventory and a greater selection, but nowhere is operating normally thanks to Covid, and the place was a lot cleaner and the people were friendlier than I could have expected.

My most recent visit was a little alarming. A turtle was clearly dead in the aquarium. When asking an employee, he simply brushes me off saying “oh he’s taking a nap”. Ummm no that turtle is dead.Prices are great! Store is clean.

I took my dog there today Dec18 the staff member was so high on merh or herion she could not even cut my dogs nails please please dont take your pet there and leave them with there staff it was not a good experience i grab my dog up and and exit the store very up set this animal crultty only god knows whats going on when you drop your pet off there i will never go back there .
