This review is of the Elgin feed and garden store.I had honestly never even heard of this place before a few weeks ago when a friend of mine had suggested I go there to try to find some tomato plants.Not only are the young ladies behind the counter absolutely super friendly and helpful this place is just old time fun absolutely love it prices are half of what they are in the big box stores for the plants and they are much better looking and better varieties.As a disabled veteran having someone offer to help load the stuff into my car was absolutely a delight whereas normally I struggle and just do everything myself I was very grateful for the assistance.This is now my go to place going forward I don't even care what the prices are they were so helpful and so friendly and all the plants actually looked cared for unlike some of the big box stores.Try this place you will not be disappointed ❤️

Always great prices on all vegetables plants. 4 tray of cucumbers & squash $2.99 each 4pck which contains 12 or more plants. Shop locally at small businesses instead of big box stores for great deals on all gardening plants. Very friendly knowledgeable staff. Highly recommend Elgin feed & farm.

The staff is very helpful and is very genuine and honest in information in what products best suited my needs and wasn't pushing one produced over another if they had more than two or more brands of the same or similar products and with a fair price. I go here for my dogs, awesome prices on the Parvo shots etc. All the dogs are healthy, had no problems.. Alot of cool varieties on leashes harness and collars and treats and bones with no dye. Staffs are very helpful and sweet.

I've been getting my chicken and garden supplies from Elgin Feed for a couple of years now. The customer service is the absolute best. They have a small, well curated inventory that always seems to have just what I need. I have bought seed and plants and been satisfied with the outcomes. Highly recommended.

Went by there today to pick up some tomato plants and the lady working the counter was very helpful and informative. The men working in the back even carried everything to my car and loaded it up for me. I bought 3 plants, 3 large flower pots, and 2 bags of soil for only $23. Highly recommend this place. Prices are great, service is even better, and quality is outstanding.

Love this store it is definitely my favorite and from there customer base I'm not the only one! Forget Lowe's or Home Depot this is the store to go to when your working in your yard or your house or even your pond. They even sell fish to restock your pond with. It's family owned so it has that special touch. The owner is great as ate all his employees. Everyone is eager to help even if that means explaining something or helping you with what your looking for or that project your trying to do. They have all sorts of stuff, from chicks to hay, flowers pond water sanitizer and more to much to list here.I would most definitely recommend you stopping on in the next time you might need something or even if you just have a question.They'd be more than happy to help you.

There is no BS here! This store is a southerner's dream! They carry only the best quality affordable selections from A to Z for your home, lawn, gardens, domestic & farm animals, and even some personal farmwear. They have kept my business and me as a happy customer for almost 30 years. This store is locally owned and operated. Unlike the trendy corporate chains, Elgin Feed and Garden carries alot of local produce, goods, and products. Serving local goods is best in many ways, but most importantly it helps keep our local economy strong and lets the small farms survive!

Small-town feed store with a bit of an "old time" feel. They have a wide variety of plants, seeds, supplies, equipment, and feed for pets and farm animals. They also sell rabbits and several varieties of fowl (chickens, ducks, and guineas) in the spring and summer months.

I love this place!!!!...I can go here and get everything I need in one trip for my fur babies,from shampoos to collars to food and even num,nums...If I have questions they don't to answer them like alot of places that I did go too...it's very convenient to go there and get everything that I need in one stop and their not expensive at all....I give them a 10+....
