Don't get me wrong. I'd much rather shop at my local grocery store than at the Walmart 15 minutes away. However, it's becoming less appealing because I've purchased several items from here recently that were spoiled but the date was still valid. I returned one of the items, twice in a week, because apparently nobody went to check the others afterwards. I understand things happen but these are just careless mistakes...

Prices are high but it's the only grocery in a small town so it's to be expected as convenience costs more. Decent selection although a bit more diversity of product would he wonderful.

The whole staff is polite. Pharmacy is my best experience. Michelle and Donna are helpful and polite. They both have an attitude of gratitude. Both make sure you understand about your medication. Michelle even helped me with my LibreLink n my Sensor. I Appreciate Both Of Them😊💖

This small town grocery store is excellent, and serves Lamar's needs well. It has a new pharmacy, too, which makes it a convenient stop for multiple needs. They have some great deals on meat, and some amazing soft drink deals (5 Coke 2-liters for $5). Very nice store run and staffed by friendly people.

Right after entering the store I noticed how clean looking and smelling it was. Every aisle was meticulous. I was engaged by about six employees and all were friendly and greeted me first. I will shop this store again.

If there were six stars, I'd pick seven. As I walked into this charming retail facility, I was taken back in time when the old storekeep would ask about my old Aunt Betty, and jaw about the storm we had the previous night. This quant store was riddled with smiling faces and southern charm. Sections were bountiful that further reinforces the warm homely feeling. Don't miss out!

Very clean, great staff, friendly atmosphere, just what you look for in a small town, now I am not going as far as calling this Mayberry environment, but it's close and Lamar needs to continue supporting it because the Piggly Wiggly (or Hoggly Woggly as I called it when I was knee high to a grasshopper) in the Florence Mall is closing, so Lamaritans need to help keep what few businesses we have OPEN

Went to the Piggy Wiggly in town two days straight, the looks like it's going to be out of business. As fast as the shelves get stock up, they're half empty again. Necessary stuff is gone. What's up with that??????

Piggly Wiggly in Lamar, SC sucks. The people that work there are rude non caring. I only go there when I just have to since only grocery store here. Should be minus stars. I never recommend this store.
