Today is the first time I can say I wasn't rolling my eyes because the line was extra long. 😂 Jen was getting us in and out and was friendly and kind at the same time. Thank you for your warm and friendly speedy service. And the shelves was stocked up too. I had no problem finding my snacks 😂😂😂 thanks again hunni you rock!💃🏽

Employees are very nice, but the store is very cluttered and very dirty. Lacking alot of products on the shelf... boxes and product all over the isles, but most of them are like that for some reason...

This is a standalone Dollar General. It has a refrigerated and freezer section for grocery items. It also has a very good selection of dry or pantry goods, household goods and other such items. I stop by here sometimes to grab like milk or ice cream on way home as it's in and out. It also has a decent sized beer/wine section for other quick stops. One of my latest visits was on Christmas Eve and it was a bit busy and the store in disarray. I chock that up to time of year and last minute shoppers. The cashier and other employee were very nice and professional. I also found on the app you can now scan as you shop and pay at checkout. It eliminates need to wait while cashier scans every item. I for one found that option a nice thing to have when in a rush. I rated four stars because my last visit well after Christmas the store was still a bit of a mess. Also I couldn't access a few items needed as inventory needing to be stocked was on pallets blocking aisles. That was a bit frustrating. I will be sure and edit review if next visit is different.

I had a pleasant shopping experience the young Male associate was nice answered the questions I posed to him,and even after check out I went to my car checked prices thought there was an error,returned to the register,and this associate took care of his customer he was ringing up,and gave me courteous assistant at the same time.He handled the situation professionally.The store set up was organized well too ,I will shop there again.

If I could give this Store zero stars I would! If I could give the new cashier lady 5 stars I would. She is like a breath of fresh air in there. This Store is a mess! So many full carts on the floor and empty shelves....it is ridiculous! I felt bad for the new lady..Bobbi I think her name was. She was greeting customers, ringing them up and working freight, while the other 2 were standing around talking and pretending to look busy. I found it odd that 1 of the guys had on a shirt with F%$k You on it, not really appropriate work attire. Someone needs to get this stor under control! Does Corporate or District Managers ever visit?

The place is always a mess. You can hardly walk through the store because the aisles are blocked by stuff that needs to be put on the shelves. There's always stuff thrown on the floor and the parking lot looks like a landfill. The employees are always on break or on the phone. Sometimes you have to wait forever for someone to come to the counter to check you out. Update; This place has gotten worse. The owner should be embarrassed. This place is a disgusting mess. It's unbelievable.

8:15am and the store is closed. Multiple customers leaving. I've been coming to this location for 5 years and the store has never been the same since Jen the best manager left last year.

I don't mean to sound like a "Karen", but this store is terrible. Nothing is stocked, junk carts everywhere, isles blocked by said carts, no mask enforcement for customers.. OR employees. There was an otherwise pleasant lady running the register, who was very pregnant and completely unmasked. I did not feel safe, and I can't imagine how she can either, knowing she's got a baby depending on her. Dollar General needs to do better.

As soon as we got out of the car we looked over and saw carts upon carts with cardboard, which is understandable in the carts, but the amount of trash piled up at the back of the building and throughout the whole back lot was enough to question if we should even go inside. A lot of things out of stock. Long checkout line. But the ending impression was a nice Male cashier on register 1 on 11/9/19 about 230p...this was the only reason I gave this store 2 stars instead of 1!

They always out of stock of many things. Store always looks cluttered with barely any room to walk around. Convenience to order online now is a plus but employees are still not trained with it so when I go to pick up my order you can tell they not familiar with it.

If I could give it a zero I would. Store is always a mess. You can't even get down the aisles because they always have carts full of boxes in the way. Tonight they had only one lady working and took 20 minutes to check out. Line was all the way down middle aisle. Cashier was very nice but store is a mess.

Total mess! Aisles are too small. The lines are way too long and not all but the majority of your CSRs have serious attitude problems, especially if you ask them a question. One actually had the audacity to tell me I looked suspicious because I was bringing in a return ( receipt in hand) because I stopped and looked at something in FULL VIEW of the cashier. That did it for me.

The only good thing about this place was the nice cashier. Otherwise there was stuff blocking aisles. Not just shipment (which entirely blocked an aisle) but fixtures that prevented carts from getting through. The whole place is a fire hazard.

Shame on the corporation and the district manager. HIRE MORE PEOPLE!!! The employees that are there work hard and it shows, however there are usually only 2 people here at a time. It's impossible for them to stock, ring up customers & Lord knows they probably never have a lunch break(which is illegal). My 4 stars are for the employees only. The District Manager, gets a 0.

The employees here are quite friendly but the upkeep of the store needs some improvement. The store just seems crowded with products. There are several random clearance sections in a few isles where items appear to be thrown around, some items are opened and some items are old and need to be thrown away rather than sold.

Stayed a while just browsing and getting things, but when I checked out the digital coupons that I had spent time checking did not come up. The message said they accepted my phone number but not my selection if coupons. That was upsetting and not the first time that has occurred,so I don't think I'll shop there any more.

My husband left the store and did not purchase what was needed due to one employee working not helpful at all seemed as if it was a crime to answer a question were a product could be found. Sunday 7-7-19 11:30-12:30 job needs to be given to someone else with better Customer service skills

The clerks did everything to avoid going to the check out to ring us up! When we asked the male clerk about incense he snapped at us.Why is that guy even working at that store? He's obviously judgemental and angry about being there and acts as if anything he does is his blessing to the store.Get rid of him!!

This Dollar General is okay, but it's messy and very small. There is a lot of merchandise crammed into such a small area that it cannot help but look messy. The staff isn't usually all that great, either they have a bad s or completely invisible.

This store has been closed for about 2 weeks, give or take. There is a sign on the front door that says. "closed for renovations". No work vehicles have been seen in the parking lot. This is a fairly new store. What's the deal and when will this store reopen??

Went into the DG, in Ladson SC. They are getting ready to do a remodel of the store so they are having a large sale. They had accessories for 90% off and shoes for 50% off. I went to purchase 3 accessory wallets and 3 pairs of shoes. The signs above the items told what the new price would be i.e. $7.00 would be $.70. Well the 3 wallets were marked as $7.00 and the shoes were $5.00 each. The shoes were rung up and they were $4.50 each. When I told the lady working that they were marked to 50% off she told me that $4.50 was 50% off of $5.00. Im sorry but no its not. $2.50 if 50% off $5.00. She was starting to get angry with me so I told her I just didnt want them to put them back and take them off my purchases. She got very angry at this and hostile. Next she went to ring up the wallets. They came to $7.50 still. When I asked why they werent ringing up with the discount she said that that price was the discount. There were no yellow stickers on these purchases with lower prices marked like they some times do, the only price on them were the prices that are already printed into the tags. When I told her that she got mad and a man working there came over to see what was going on, when I told him that it was ridiculous that the prices weren't ringing up correctly he started shouting at me and grabbed my purchases that were already bagged on the carousel, causing my son to jump back because he was afraid he was going to push him, and started screaming in my face, that I am not able to buy sh*t form them if I am going to be a b*tch about it. And that I am no longer allowed at the store. I told him that was fine there are plenty of other places to shop ie amazon. I continued to smile at him even though he was screaming at me and my son was huddled behind me terrified. I told him I would be contacting his corporate office, and he under his breath told me he would deal with me next time he seen me. I felt threatened and was in fear for my son who is 8 and was in tears when we left because he was so afraid of this man. All because the sale wasn't ringing up, and I questioned it. If you are going to have a sale then the merchandise should ring up accordingly. And then for this man to threaten me and my son is unacceptable. I want an apology immediately for the way we were treated, however I know that this will not happen. I am so angry over this treatment. I can shop at Family Dollar and the Dollar Tree instead. Or even Amazon has better prices and far more superior merchandise. I only shopped here for convenience and now I will go out of my way to avoid this store.

Very nice very clean very orderly in the finally looking for great customer service going there the ladies are going to help you out then I break you you're guaranteed to walk out of there with at least $100 worth of stuff you don't need and be very happy at the same time.

i have emailed several times regarding the trashy parking lot,im in a wheelchair so when i go in i cant get around of the boxes everywhere! the problem is not enough employees there,1 employee can only do what they can,so the employees are not the problem,your ability to run that store is awful!!!!

I was burning up in the store it was so hot. I hurried so I could get out of the store, when I got to the register I asked if their air condition was out. You would of thought I had asked the cashier to send me to the moon. Her response was, oh. I don't know I have this fan up here. Duh.......

Best place to go too in a hurry... remodel was what it needed.... but please don't go back to your old ways BOXES AND BOXES down the aisles on the floor stocking/re-stocking needs help the store on LADSON ROAD

It does have decent prices on cleaning supplies. It not as big as Walmart. It is just like Walmart as it understaffed and does not play the employees a decent wage. But you got to buy your Stuff some where.
