Honestly after today I wouldn't give even 1star. The pharmacist today (03-11-24) is so unbelievably professional and refused me service because I said a bad word. She needs to get over herself and grow up. I didn't cuss at her. I made a general statement that included a bad word. Big deal. Now she refuses me service. I've been a long time customer of CVS. 30+ years. I think I deserve better treatment then to be blacklisted because I said a bad word. Well their loss because I'm taking all my business and my husbands business to another place that knows what customer service is and how to treat to people. We're talking literally thousands of dollars lost because of one unprofessional pharmacist. Was it worth it CVS?

If you need to fill a prescription, forget it. Why this location even has a pharmacy is beside me… location wise convenient - until you go to pick up your child’s antibiotics anfter an hospital stint and the pharmacy is locked up, closed. Closed at 7pm M-F and 6pm Sat; Sundays??? Forget about it. You’re not getting your meds. Shame on this location. Never again. I will not use this poor excuse for a pharmacy ever again. #frustratedmother

The manager attempted to charge us 4x times the amount for passport pictures. She was extremely ignorant in how the picture kiosk worked. She should be fired for over charging her customers. I will be filing an official compliant!

Excellent patient/customer care. I had brain surgery on 8/11 & did not see that the pharmacy closed early on Saturdays so my parents, unknowingly, went to get my pain meds right at closing & the man was kind enough to stay open to get my pain meds. I would’ve had to go back to the hospital had he not done that. Fast forward to today when my home pharmacy in Knoxville Tn told me they “didn’t have the time” multiple times, verbatim, & there was no prednisone on my file nor did they “have the time” to research so I called l this pharmacy to get things done myself. I was really upset because of how the TN pharmacy treated me, especially considering my brain is so swollen that I can’t hear well out of the right ear, and shared what happened. She put the med that was sent there instead of home and saw the prednisone on my file. I called TN pharmacy back & made sure to express my unhappiness, as we all get busy and short staffed, & told them that the ladson pharmacy was also busy and short staffed but put the trazadone back so it could be transferred & told me what to tell the pharmacy in Tn. Must’ve been magic bc the second person o talked to after calling this pharmacy made sure to be halfway decent. Doesn’t hold a candle to a flame to how kind & helpful the lady at this location was. Thank you so much from my family to this location for the courtesy, kindness & concern they had for me while we stayed in ladson after my surgery. We are so grateful!

The pharmacy department is so rude and disrespectful. I had one of the pharmacist hang up on me while I was still trying to talk to her.Not to mention she had a bad attitude toward me when I was asking her about my medication being filled. She also tried to tell me they didn’t have my medication in stock when they actually did because I talked to someone earlier that day and they told me they did have it . I highly recommend not using this pharmacy. So unprofessional and disrespectful!

If I could give it a lower rating, I would!! This pharmacy has gone so far downhill it's ridiculous. I noticed immediately that there was a change in staff & management after Anthony left. He was a true asset to CVS; making sure patients knew of any changes to expect if a doctor changed your meds. Now, you barely even get a greeting, let alone any customer service. After spending a total of over 4 hours on their hold message today; I believe I'll be checking into a different pharmacy. I'm disgusted with this one; their lack of service in general, the lack of work ethic displayed routinely, and treating the patients/customers as if they are an interruption to whatever they want to be doing. Finally Fed Up!!!

The Pharmacist was EXTREMELY rude and wouldn’t help me with a simple request from my doctor that would help me receive prescription assistance. My parents are pharmacist and I make sure to be really nice to people working in the pharmaceutical profession, so this was shock. Please consider choosing another pharmacy if you need to ask questions of any kind about your prescriptions.

This is the slowest pharmacy service I've ever experienced anywhere. I was told at 3pm that my prescription was not received, then oh we have it and will try to have it filled within the hour. The pharmacist was too eager to get me to sign up for a text alert and I'm guessing it's so they wouldn't have to answer as to why my Rx is not ready. It is now 6:32pm and I've called twice but the "call cannot be connected as this time." I will be filing a formal complaint.

Horrible. Scheduled COVID booster and flu vaccines online at an available evening time slot. Appointment was cancelled by CVS. No explanation. Tried again and 7 pm was still available. Cancelled again while wife was in the store. Apparently pharmacist was canceling them so he could go home early. Ended up walking into Walmart and getting them on the spot which seems to not be available at CVS

We came, when they said the medication should be ready. And it was not. They wanted us to come back. We came back, the following day and the people could not find the keys to the pharmacy. Is this a real pharmacy or not? This is not how you run a business. I don't like coming multiply times and not getting what I came in for. I will never come back here. You people are incompetent.

Once again, CVS has proven its unwillingness as a company to do anything above the bare minimum to ensure customer satisfaction. Even though I have vowed not to spend another penny at a CVS location, I scheduled my two children to have COVID vaccines at the Ladson location. The online scheduling tool only allowed me to make each one a separate appointment an hour apart. I explained this to the pharmacist when we arrived at my first child's appointment time. Even though not a single other appointment arrived between my two children's appointments, there were multiple associates working, and hardly any customers at the pharmacy, we were made to wait the hour to get my second child his vaccine. Yes, it was his appointment time, but I have a very hard time believing they couldn't have at least tried to make our wait a bit shorter, especially since they allow walk-in appointments. To top things off, the pharmacist was extremely rude. Thumbs down and a zero star rating (had to click at least one). At least CVS is consistent.

I usually have great service at the CVS, and since I'm acting as a surrogate for my sister I have come to the CVSA lot to pick up my pregnant needs.. To that I came in to pick up a prescription that my doctor had put in for me for nausea medicine. What I did not know was that I had reached my limit that my insurance would cover.. Instead of explaining that my insurance didn't cover they simply said that they did not have it. When I insisted that I knew it had been sent in the one pharmacist went to the back to look for my prescription.. She then told me my insurance would not cover it, Which I was confused by because I did not know that there was a limit. Instead of having the patience to explain it to me she asked another woman to explained to me. That woman approached the counter with immediate attitude, and when I asked how much it would be out of pocket she asked how many I wanted. Obviously I cannot pay for my medicine out of pocket. And flustered that this now means that I have to be sick for the next 10 days until my limit refills. I left even more flustered because of Way she spoke to me. Here's a heads up to the pharmacist of CVS on ladson, instead of dealing with a customer who seems frazled with attitude maybe have compassion. I could have been upset that same woman sent me to a different CVS when she had my prescription the whole time. but instead did not hold that against them, I will however be holding this visit to account the next time I come.

If Cluster & F@CK had a kid it would be this store..... Beyond anything I have seen. Just total chaos and stupidity. It is extremely sad especially since they are dealing with medicine people depend on and some critical to their life. Not only does it take hours in line to pick up but the amount of errors they made with people ahead of us (wrong medicine/ short medicine/ left out bottles in the bags).I would not recommend this store to anyone if you value not only your time but your life.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Very rude to my daughter. Sadly her parents are pharmacists so my daughter has been very understanding and kind to the staff. The pharmacy manger was rude, condescending, and made her feel stupid. She needs to rethink retail and remember the customers keep you in business. Publix is now getting our business.

Unfortunately I have to give one star because of the current issues with the pharmacy. I never had a problem for years going to this pharmacy, The past 6 months or so however they are always out of meds, meds show as “in process” for a week at a time, The line to pick up meds is 5 deep any given time and don’t even try to call- I am on hold for the past 45 minutes as I type just waiting for someone to answer, so clearly they ignore the phone as a policy. Though it is the most convenient location for me I am going to have to move all my scripts just to be able to fill them apparently. No other location do I have so much trouble getting someone to even answer the phone.

I'm here for my scheduled covid test that I need before my doctor will treat me. The drive-thru is closed. Pharmacy doesn't answer any phone calls. Not just today, but any time I've called over the last 2 months. They are so understaffed that they really should just close. That would be better than the horrific business they're running.

Very Rude Unsupportive pharmacy staff. I scheduled an appointment for COVID testing, however when arriving for my appointment I was informed that they’re Drive Thru was closed and I needed to go somewhere else. When I questioned where they were sending customers that were scheduled the Tech said “anywhere but here, We’re closed. I explained that this was an inconvenience and that instead of sending confirmations 30 minutes before my appt.a cancellation notice would have been more efficient. Staff then walked off and said someone else can assist you. This was a major inconvenience being that I’m leaving for the international travel in 3 days.

The whole world is short staffed, I’m grateful for the people who actually come to work. The past couple of times I’ve went to the drive threw, I’ve gotten the same rude lady (Linetta). I simply asked if my insurance was on file, “which it should have been,” and she preceded to catch an attitude and said “well it’s not on file.” Now any professional person would’ve took my insurance and put it on file with no issue, I would’ve been more then happy to come back later, but she chose to be unprofessional yet again. If she would’ve asked for my insurance information the last 2 visits I seen her, “ which she did not”, it would’ve actually been on file. Clearly she isn’t doing her job right , so I doubt she put my insurance information in right. Which I will be more then happy to provide a valid picture of how my insurance is not even on my prescription. The next time I come and she’s rude I will go to corporate, the situation will be handled accordingly. Nobody should have to pay for something if it’s covered, covered or not covered none the less my insurance should’ve been on file.

CVS is stealing from everybody! If you had a 40% off coupon they only took off 35% even though on the receipt it said 40%. Beware of CVS and their theft. I called customer service and they could not do anything for me they said I'd have to wait until they get my receipt uploaded and then I would have to call back. Very inconvenient please be wary of your receipts they're a farce. On my receipt it says 40% was taken off although it was only 35%. I'm sure a lot of their coupons are fake. No customer service to help when you need it.

The pharmacist was so helpful! My prescription for a procedure was not called in on a holiday weekend, she called the doctors after hour number and got my prescription called in! She was amazing and did this on her own! I wouldn’t have been able to get my procedure done if she didn’t help!

Terrible, just terrible. I don’t work for cvs but I can almost bet that if they took better care of their staff, it would shine through to their customers. If you have a choice, do yourself a huge favor and choose a different pharmacy.

I purchased a CVS heating pad a few months ago and lost the receipt. It was flashing on the control clicker and I called the store to see if someone would check the instructions to see how to trouble shoot it. A very nice young man by the name of Ross went out of his say to check the instructions for me and discovered that it was a safety issue. He then went above and beyond his responsibilities by making sure I was able to exchange the broken one even though I didn't have a receipt. He is the kind of employee that more companies could benefit from having. I hope CVS appreciates him as much as I do.

Pharmacists are very nice :-) but today had a new person wait on me at drive through. Asked twice how much total was and laid a 20.00 bill in drawer. To the right in bottom of drawer. Took out clipboard..drawer closed. Signed clipboard drawer opened. Placed on top of basket...waiting for change , had even joked about my money being laundered, washed in washing machine.. "what 20.oo I didn't see 20.00. " Wow ...moved my prescriptions

Best Pharmacy staff ever. Thank you Anthony, Jamaica, Susan, Denise, Pamela, Olivia :), and all other staff. They work hard, and give me piece of mind. I know they always have my back. They are the most efficient and kindest staff I have ever met.In my opinion the staff at CVS Ladson Hwy 78, is amazing. Anthony, Olivia, Susan, Pamela, Jamaica, Denise, and every other member of the team, I mean "everyone" goes above and beyond the needs of customer service. Me personally, I have had a rough transition between having a new Dr.'s (my old Dr. Got offered a more desired position as head MD at a rehab clinic), and this CVS staff has made it as smooth as possible on there end for me. Their have been many instances where this pharmacy has helped me troubleshoot through confusing instructions and clarifying when or giving them history and or info needed to reach desired goal or prescription on time. Last but not least recently Anthony head Pharmacist and Olivia showed me how to properly and safely inject my prescribed testosterone injection, something that was much needed but I was also terrified to do for the first time, and they got me through it and gave me tips.Thank you CVS staff, great customer service is hard to find, and you go above and beyond. Since moving to Ladson 2 yrs. ago you have made me feel safe and at home.Sincerely,Mitch Minckler

I don't even want to give them 1 star. I called to ask questions about the billing of a prescription that was just transferred back to this store after Kmart Pharmacy closed and apparently they're not open to questions. The tech I spoke with was very rude and spoke in one word sentences with a large period at the end. As a Pharmacy Technician myself and former CVS employee of 22 years, her attitude is a definite no-no in customer service. Our call took maybe 2 minutes so I pity her other customers who have to speak with her longer.

I hate to even give one star. CVS has always put a bad taste in my mouth and this one is the worse!!!!! My Dr's office is in NC and I've always dealt with Walgreens on main st in Summerville, but my Dr changed one of my scripts to a med that they don't carry last month so I decided to give CVS here another chance ( BOY DID I SCREW UP ). Last month I had a little problem getting my med but the problem wasn't enough to change pharmacy, well I go today to pick up my refill and they told me I couldn't get my pain medication until the Dr's office called and verify it even though it was emailed by computer from the same Dr's office as last month. Walgreens has filled my pain medication at 4am before and has never asked about verifying it. So now since my Dr's office is closed for the holidays I have to wait 4 days until I can get it. I don't think I'll be filling it here or any other CVSs. This place really sucks!!!!

I HAD THE WORST EXPERIENCE AT THIS LOCATION TODAY! Devon the store manager is rude and very unprofessional , the pharmacy tech that did come up to help was very helpful but it took her 10 min to get the store manager to come up front to help her log on the register . And when she did come she kept answering her what. I will not come back to this location, and hopefully the store manager learns how to be professional.
