Through my 75 years always living in the countryside farming community! I have used many veterinary facilities through the years, for a large animals and small. My husband and I have found a compassionate practice with Johnston Animal Hospital. They have a staff of veterinarians male and female who sincerely care about their patients and Human Parents!!Experiencing unfortunate events of a animal having to be euthanized. And the vet and vet tech has eyes full of tears because they realize this pet was loved and cared for by family! Making this decision is never an easy one! But thankfully their sensitivity in these situations gives the animal parent the peacefulness that they deserve.Our German Shepherd had extensive abdominal surgery and we could not have been more pleased with the thoughtfulness! Their care for her was excellent!!! And she is doing wonderful!In a business where prices can fluctuate tremendously. They choose consideration of their clientele to keep their fees at a level where they still can keep their doors open but also not to rob the patrons!!It seems at times they may work magic! They also know God is the one in charge of the healing!

My review represents well over 20+ clients. The Doctors and staff are always professional and hands down provide the best veterinary care. I highly recommend!

Dr Rauton and his staff have taken care of my babies for over 15 years. They have seen me at my very best and my very worst. Not once have I doubted their concern and love for my babies or for me. I love Dr Rauton and all of his caring staff. I feel blessed to have them in my life

After researching and researching vets to take my two 9 wk old puppies to I chose to drive 50 minutes to this animal hospital based on the great reviews. I normally prefer a holistic veterinarian who doesn't over vaccinate my dog but there are none in this area. I wasn’t exactly bowled over by the friendliness of the staff but I let that go but after I saw my receipt, I was livid. They were there were there for 2nd Parvovirus/Adenovirus/Paraininfluenza Combo shot that is all. What they were given was Distemper-Hepat-Lepto Adult shot, A Parovirus shot and Coronavirus shot! I never want my pet to have the coronavirus or the lepto shot. I stupidly assumed they were given what the breeder gave them and nothing more. I will not be back.

I found this hospital online and needed somewhere reliable to get my Dobermans ears done. The first photo was his ears when we arrived. At first the dr advised against cropping but after further discussion we decided to proceed and I could not be more happy with them. The last photo showing right after removing the post and the middle picture is him now. I will be using and referring any and all persons searching for a veterinarian that knows how to do a good crop. Thank again so much!

This place is awesome, I had my dog transfer to there, price was a nice surprise,and they took him in the same day, which was great and waiting was only a few minutes,they are very busy but it was definitely worth it. 😉They also do grooming and care. They way prices are now, I was happy to pay their price for everything they did for my dog. Check them out, you'll be glad you did.

My yorkie had a C-section there and when I picked up the puppies they were cold and barley moving I had to take them to another hospital for fluids and to be treated I don’t recommend this hospital

The staff here was extremely friendly. The vet was knowledgeable and willing to share that information. I recommend this vets office. Prices here are good too. I expected to pay more than what I did. Great job !!!

Great place! Our black russian terrier had a terrible hot spot on his back leg. He's a large dog but a baby when it comes to shots. They were extremely patient and took excellent care of him.

I called, got an appointment for 3hrs later. They took us right in, quick diagnosis, and a plan for treatment. They were all kind and courteous. They are gentile with our dog. She has no problem going to "the doctor's office ".

Took one of my babies to have a tumor removed and Dr. George and his vet tech Kayla did a great job. I’ve always taken all of my babies there and they’ve always been good to us. Highly recommend! Kayla, the vet tech is the absolute best!

All the staff are friendly and helpful. Dr. Bill and Dr. George are the best. They explain everything and then give you your options. Been going there for 25 years. Great folks! I drive 30 minutes to their office since we moved away. Worth the drive.

We had our doberman's ears cropped here in 2021. The Dr did an amazing job. We added another doberman to the family from a breeder 500 miles away and her ears were already done. Ears look great however our Dr didnt preform the work so we called with a couple question about posting and willingness to pay for their advice. They rather rudely "we don't do ears anymore call the vet... good luck" then hung up.... WTH we are a current customer with an appt on the books for the pups to be fixed in April. Unfortunate to see the last of the local vets act like this. Time to find someone with better personal skills
