He patiently spent loads of time with me helping me decipher the various lightbulb types and helped me find exactly what I needed. This is what sets this hardware store apart from the big box stores.

Made some serious upgrades, especially inventory. Staff is great, just dont piss them off. If they'd open Sundays from 11-3, they'd have the market cornered on the island. Sundays are when everyone needs a hardware store. I can help hire someone to fill that 4hr shift once a week

I had to DIY a pretty complex plumbing/carpentry project after a contractor ghosted me. The team at this ACE spent an inordinate amount of time to help me plan, organize, and source materials so I could do the job. Very knowledgeable and kind enough to spend the time to help their customers. Glad to have them in the neighborhood!

When you're working at Kiawah (or any other location where you're nearly an hour away from any of your suppliers), it's nice to know there's an ACE nearby. They've been my go to when my guys run me out of material and let me know at the exact final moment that they need more.

Was visiting my mom here on the island. I came here for a purchase. The workers customer service was horrible. Didn't acknowledge me until I approached them. Will never come here again! As a Gulf War Veteran I will take my money to Lowes. The customer service is Outstanding! And they have a discount for Veterans, and respect our sacrifice.

Store is a cathedral of hardware stores. Every shelf stocked and blocked. Knowledgeable staff roaming the aisles always looking to offer advice, lend a hand or chat you up. Store is spotless. It is - hands down - my favorite local hw store. Definitely in my top 3 all time. Its f'in glorious.

Store manager didn't honor tag price at $12.99 ended up paying $21.79 after I was told that they would honor the price. On the bright side most people there are fairly kind and helpful. I guess it is what it is

Convenient plus a knowledgeable and friendly staff. Small store with a pretty good selection. The prices are a little higher than the big box stores but the convenience and staff make it worthwhile.

I must come to this store at least twice a week. This Ace has the nicest employees and all of them are very well knowledgeable abour what Ace carries. Ray is absolutely amazing! He literally knows everything and he couldn't be more helpful. Heidi is a ray of sunshine and I am always greeted like a friend. I love joking with Viki at the register, she always has something funny to say to me. I feel bad because the other 2 register girls I cant remember their names!!! But they are awesome as well!

The staff in unpleasant to outright hostile.Every task is performed with a bad attitude as if they are being bothered to help you.Watch out at the register. Prices on the shelves are not necessarily what gets rung up from the barcode scan.This has happened more than once.If you are buying anything or any real cost go elsewhere. Their prices are high

I bought some gas tools and I didn't even use them then l try to take it back to the store and when I was about to explain why I wanted my money back the lady throw the tools back to me and refuse to give me my money because they were "used". She was really RUDE and nasty. Not coming back at all!

Spent 180 on three gallons of Benjamin Moore paint which I expected. What I didn't expect was for them toMix the wrong color and when my husband noticed it instead of mixing a whole new gallon they made it seem like they could just mix in the new color and it would be fine. When I went back into the store with the paint because I wanted to double check the paint color the old man mixing the paint treated me and my husband like idiots. Lied tome about switching the cans out and basically called my husband slow and that something "wasn't clicking". He is an engineer by the way. We will never return or recommend.

The folks here are always eager to help and always meet you with a smile. They have a complete line of paint too. Tell em Mark with Billys Plumbing sent you. You'll be glad you went.

Everybody here is very polite they know what they're doing, there never seems to be a project they can't figure out some type of solution, and I also want to add that I am a very frequent Shopper at this store because of the simple fact that they usually have always the materials the paint and everything else that my boss and I need to finish or even start a job. They seem to be very knowledgeable in their paints, Staines, urethanes, and all the above. You can always count on this Ace to be your place!! Oh and also they'll give you a free cup of coffee if you will ask. 421

Always send my guys here for tools on the fly not anymore. Milwaukee drill burned up in two weeks. Brought back and lady refused to take it because we where one day over 30? Way to stand by you well? A month is a joke and the lady was rude. I’ll never buy a screw from this place.

Store was very nice and clean.Customer service was great.They had no customers though and apparently nothing to do because everyone at some point and time asked could they help you.
