I was in a pickle and picked up a furniture piece that was far too large for my SUV. Thankfully, a FD location was minutes away so I safely drove over. Immediately upon entering, the young gentleman working there offered to help me. I asked if they had bungee cords. He came over and handed me the last pack. Not only was I pleasantly surprised by his help, but the fact he went out of the way to grab it for me. He also went above and beyond and offered to help me lift the furniture and offered to safely get it in my vehicle. I was very grateful, but I didn't want to take him from the store lol. I was parked just outside and he looked like he was the only one working at the time. He said he would watch from the window to make sure I got help and left safely. I asked his name because this young man deserves to be recognized for not only being an incredible human, but an outstanding employee. Everything from his customer service to his positive attitude and how he carried himself. He genuinely cared to help. Thank you so much to Tyler, you are a rockstar. The guy I scouted outside the store was able to successfully help me and I got home safe. Couldn't have done it without Tyler's efficiency and kindness. Thank you!

The cashier discriminated against an autistic 5 year old right in front of us. The little boy got excited about his new toys, and threw them on the counter in excitement. The cashier called the COPS on the 5 year old saying he threw toys at her. The mother tried to explain he was autistic and he doesn't understand and the toys never even touched her!!! She refused to sell the family the toys and kicked them out of the store. This cashier needs to be fired and needs to be fined for a fake police report. Absolutely disgusting and horrifying what I just watched. I will never go here again. Horrible.

They need help! The staff is helpful, pleasent, AND HARD AT WORK in a poorly maintained facility (the ROOF IS LEAKING FOR GOD'S SAKES!) Well stocked, and neat. Missing many sale items, based on lack of delvy not stockage (12 pack can Root Beer for 3 weeks while in sale flier?)

Nothing is ever organized; the last THREE times, I’ve been to this place, for basic things, every aisle has been so crowded with unpacked boxes and industrial carts, that you can’t even get to what you need. Their clearance section is an absolute disaster, so enter THAT at your own risk and if you need help, good luck finding a sales associate that isn’t busy on their cell phone or outside smoking. Go next door and pay the extra money for the same thing at Bi-Lo. Save yourself the headache.

Employees are very friendly. Store is better than a lot ive seen. Keep it pretty organized. Sometimes isles are blocked by restock stuff would be difficult for someone in a wheel chair maybe a walker

Pros: young lady behind counter was quite helpful and knew where items were.Cons: Lots of stocking items strewn all over store. Wife was there a couple of days earlier and said she had difficulty accessing desired items due to stocking materials cluttering the isles. (Both of those visits occurred mid-afternoon).

Horrible experience. Went there on Wednesday at 4 pm, store should be open, but it was closed because the cashier decided to go run her errands. Saw her on parking lot yelling at someone on her phone, she went to the store open the door when I tried to go in she shut it run in front of my face and kept talking on her phone.

18 people in line an only one register open. Finally opened a second register after 27 minutes. Cashier was very nice but it took the manager almost 30 min to help out even after 3 calls to the back

Store could use some cleaning and there was an employee smoking a cigar in the doorway BUT the employees inside greeted us and the cashier (believe she was a manager) was SUPERRRRRRR NICE!

95 % of the John's island store has the isles blocked with overstock. Some are dated as far back as June. I try not to go into the store because I don't want to trip on stuff on the floor. This is a VERY unorganized store.

Lady at the register had a terrable attitude along with the mouthy manager just left their looking for ice they have ice machines and of course they don't work no ice never be back

Friendly, helpful clerks but difficult to walk around as almost all isles full of boxes needing to be shelved ! Not very efficient or safe .

My experience at this store was terrible I was told to leave the store while two black women called me and my brother crackers and said they wouldn't allow us to buy anything at the store they are employees and have no right to decide who shops there
