Let me make this perfectly clear.You must order at the bar.Don’t come in and sit at a table, come in, order your food and drinks at the bar and then sit down.The place is great, the mood is great, there is island music, outdoor seating, plenty of sights to see.But you must order your food at the bar.But really, the food was fantastic and the beer was cold.Let me also say that the staff was amazing.Kid-friendliness: The foot long hotdog would be great for any kid that likes hot dogs.The chicken fingers and cheese sticks were also great.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp to easy access. But there is no parking or limited parking.

Bomb smash burger, would come back just for this. Came here for food before a show at the windjammer because it was close & open, and I'm glad we did because the food was pretty solid, but the smashburger is fire, it kind of reminds me of a Frisco melt from steak n shake (one of my favorites), The onion rings were good too. Food came out fairly quickly, but getting the order in took a sec because there was only person working and you had to order at the bar. We ran into Smuggler’s Island looking for non-alcoholic frozen drinks for my wife and kids and ended up staying for dinner because the food looked so good! It did not disappoint! My wife and I each had some of the best cooked fish and chips we have eaten in a long time. Our little guy had a perfectly fried shrimp basket. Our daughter enjoyed her grilled chicken and soft pretzels. Don’t think you are getting bar food when yo pull up a stool here, these guys know how to make a great meal!

I dont ever leave reviews but this was so bad that I felt I had to share my experience. Went with my niece and we ordered the fried chicken tenders basket. We sat down and in the time it took my niece to go to the restroom to wash her hands, the food arrived. There were 4 tenders per basket, each the size of my thumb and they looked dark and dry. Upon taking a bite, we both experienced the driest, grossest bite of a chicken tender ever! We both spat it out and politely left after eating only a couple of fries. The fries were dry and floury. Do not waste your time with this place, it’s beyond disappointing. The only positive is I can’t say anything bad about the lady who served us.

great little beachside bar and grill on Isle of Palms. We had the Mahi special, a delicious well seasoned grilled fillet that was perfectly cooked, side of fries and their house cucumber and tomato salad. very refreshing. Also pictured the turkey BLT with 2 thick slices of smoked turkey, bacon on toast. fantastic. appreciate the selection of local beers as well.

The burger and shrimp were AMAZING! Hands down, my favorite spot here at IOP. Well worth the money (it's a tad pricey but worth it 100%)We have no complaints at all! The food came out hot, fresh, and well cooked! My son and husband loved the shrimp and I had the burger! We were impressed with how fresh and hot our food was served. Most places it's just warm and tastes blah but not this place!

This was a great choice for dinner with my daughter. Started off with an “East Bound and Down” cocktail which was really tasty. My daughter had a N/A “Blue Skies Frozen Daiquiri” and she loved it!The Fried Shrimp basket I ordered was awesome, and the Chicken Tender basket my daughter got apparently “Rocked, Crispy, Crunchy, and Tasty”!The ambiance was nice. Not loud with some good jukebox tunes playing. Definitely better than the other place right next to it.

Food was good and the mule ok but the menu seems to be confusing for servers. Ordered the Fish & chips. well, it comes with fries and not chips also the menu states add coleslaw for .99 cents but they don’t have the option on the POS “according to server”. Disappointed because the server made me feel like I didn’t understand. I’m attaching the menu so you all judge if it was my fault.

Just walked into Smugglers to have a cocktail with my wife. Big heavy set bearded bartender ignored us when I asked if they had a Happy Hour menu. So I asked again and he grabbed a menu and tossed it on the bar. No smile, no acknowledgment, no hello. What a jerk. We’re locals and made our first AND last visit to Smugglers!

Fast trip to Beach. Friend wanted go to Windjammer after long trip down over 120 miles told no you aint coming in. I began my handicapped walk to Smugglers where I love the service food and folks. Delightful sandwiches fresh fries and she had some delicious brocolli. Air cool music live great and we are welcome. Thank yall you are truly the beach and Southern hospitality. Facing a hard time upcoming you brightened my day.
