OK, it was the Thursday before Memorial Day Weekend. So maybe we were getting the last of what they had.The photos demonstrate my experience. This was a one day rental and a little disappointed on the location behind all of the other umbrellas and chairs as you can see. Also, the umbrella was damaged, but worked as seen in the photo. The chairs and umbrella were covered in sand and you can compare it in the photo with the competition.

what an excellent service! made the reservation same day and by the time we arrived at the beach our chairs and umbrella were in place. while others were lugging in gear, all we had to do was show up. totally recommend!

THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! Chairs were always set up early in the morning. We had a large group and having the chairs set up and ready was so nice AND STRESS-FREE. When I called to see where my chairs were one morning, the staff was very nice. Explaining to me that they were about 50 feet from where I was standing. Definitely user (me) error. To be honest, when you look at them from the side, 13 chairs/7 umbrellas look like 2. They were very kind in their response, and probably laughing at me, when we ended the call. That's ok, I deserved it!! Thanks again. The beach was the highlight of our weekend!

Chairs are technically functional, but old and broken. For some reason they set us up practically underneath someone else, I called and they said they would come fix it but nobody ever showed up. A few weeks later the CEO contacted me, apologized and refunded me for the day.

I've visited family in Charleston every summer for the past 3 years. We always found the SC beaches beautiful but uncomfortably hot. When I saw how comfortable family's were that had Isle of Palms Beach Chair company set up shade umbrellas and beach chairs I knew I had to try this company out. I called and spoke with a friendly knowledgable person and they explained how it worked and the various fees for what ever I wanted to be set up for our arrival. After asking where I would like my setup located they said everything would be waiting and marked with my name. After this I would never bother trying to drag everything we need to the beach again. My umbrellas were exactly where they told me and this was the best day ever! Instead of spending less than 2 hours and dragging everything down and up from the beach we spent a most enjoyable day without any sunburned or cranky children.Thank you Isle of Palms Beach Chair company! I did not rent equipment since we brought our own. However, I had the pleasure of watching the teams put the equipmet together every morning and they all seemed very dedicated to getting it right. I felt like I had become a good friend to Ricardo who was always very pleasant and helpful to everyone. He even drilled a hole in the sand for my umbrella one morning for me without a word spoken. Great customer service. I think I will rent from IOP next time.

First day rentals, chairs and umbrellas were so close to the access point anyone coming on the beach would hit the umbrella. We called send an attendant came and moved them very promptly. 😀Second day set up was good.Third day chairs were moved to a different side than requested and we had to clear out our area from debris.Fourth day, umbrella and chairs were on an incline making them non-beneficial. I understand keeping beyond the tide but these were placed in a steep area making it difficult to position chairs in the shade during the morning which was the purpose of paying for rentals. Additionally, one of the chairs was broken and foot rest severely bent. We called at 9:30 am and ask for them to be moved and a chair replacement and no one ever came. We tried calling again at 11 but received no answer.I understand low or new staffing but a little training or checking on the trainees work would go a long way. We have used this company for years and this is the first year with issues but had several.

These folks provide a wonderful service! Chairs and umbrellas are sturdy. Very reliable company!! We love hitting the beach our first day there. The first thing we see is our chairs and umbrellas sitting there with our name tag! 😃 🏖 🏝

We were at the beach Tuesday, July 28. Our umbrella and chairs were just where I asked them to be placed. Unfortunately it was rainy weather. The company's workers were folding umbrellas for guests because it was becoming very windy. We only stayed an hour, but it was so nice to travel to the beach with just a bag and towels and have chairs and umbrella set up for us. Perfect - no complaints. The company will cancel your order 24 hours before set up but we didn't even LOOK at the forecast. Our bad. I think if you call and want to move to another day there's no problem. Great service, great idea, great communication, great prices, I highly recommend!

Service was prompt and very good. The only drawbacks are some days the chairs were less than great (torn backing or broken pieces), and they take the chairs away starting around 5pm.They need to do better at fixing the bad chairs and really should allow you to have them later if you request.

Easily booked chairs online for our July 4th family trip to Wild Dunes. Received a discount for online booking. Only hiccup to our plans occurred because I wasn't familiar with the area (and couldn't locate a detailed map). It took me a little while to find the beach access intended for our reservation (the closest one to our property happened to be closed). I called the office to confirm location the night before our reservation and didn't receive a call back (made sense since all the company is busy putting out the chairs). The friendly gentlemen installing chairs on the beach helped me find our exact reservation. More expert WD travelers may not have had the hard time we did. We were so grateful to not have to lug beach chairs and an umbrella out to our spot! Overall, a great experience and less expensive than the resort rental.

A great experience with Isle of Palms Beach Chair company. It was so nice to have the chairs and umbrellas up and ready to use first thing in the morning. Only one day were they a little later than normal, - they had the chairs out but no umbrella. All in all, a great service. Would use them again.

They have been great so this week. I was able to make a same day reservation. Our chairs and umbrella were set up within an hour of making the reservation. When one of the umbrellas was missing a part, I called them to let them know. They had someone out to replace the umbrella within 15 minutes. Great customer service!

Hello. I recently rented 4 chairs and 2 umbrellas. It was great besides the fact that the team came and took up the chairs at 5pm. No one told me that before I paid and one day, we only got to sit in our chairs for 30 minutes as we couldn't check in to our condo until 4:00. A heads up would've been nice. Otherwise, great experience.

We made a day trip from where we were staying in Charleston to the Isle of Palms. IOP Beach chair rentals made it so easy to have chairs and an umbrella on the beach. They were set up right at the entrance to the beach and was easy to find. Sadly a storm came in as soon as we arrived and stormed the entire day. We were only able to use the chairs for 30 minutes. There is not a refund policy for a single day use if you get rained out. So it was a pricey 30 minutes! If it had been a sunny day - they would have been perfect.

Great location on Isle of Palm. Ordered early(ish) morning and they were set up by the time we got there at 11am. Comfortable chairs with study umbrellas, as it was crazy windy! Completely worth not schlepping our own things or tearing them down. Easily ordered online. Highly recommend. Friendly attendants too!

We rented beach chairs and an umbrella. Isle of Palms Beach Chair Company could not have made the process easier. We ordered online and within 5 minutes I received a call confirming my order. The chairs and umbrella were set up and waiting for us when we arrived at the beach, with our name tag on the umbrella.The staff was courteous and responsive and the price was right, too! I definitely would recommend the Isle of Palms Beach Chair Company to anyone visiting the Isle of Palms!

Ordered one umbrella online, they’re very nice, big, sturdy. They drill a deep hole in the sand so it won’t blow away. Decent price. When I got to my spot this morning at 10 am the umbrella was right were I asked them to put it, perfect. One more day then it’s back to reality but I’ll be back later on this summer.

We booked our set up around 7:15am and it was ready to go when we got to the beach at 11am. It was a nice suprise for my husband who is usually tasked with carrying all of our stuff and setting it up. He enjoyed having a break and letting someone else do the work! Great experience. Wonderful day of watching the waves. Chairs had a detachable leg rest. The chairs didn't have a tag with a name on the back as I expected from the confirmation email. No problem. An employee was walking by as I was setting down and asked if everything was good. I will rent from IOP Beach Chair Company again.

We loved the convenience of having beach chairs and an umbrella at the beach while on vacation to Charleston. Everything worked seamlessly as our chairs & umbrella were all set up and reserved with our name attached at the high tide line on Isle of Palms beach. The chairs were comfortable and we liked the way the foot rest could be disconnected from the chair to allow for easy exit. The price was very reasonable for the convenience. We had a wonderful day at the beach, thanks to IOP beach chair company!

They must get up with the rooster to have the chairs out all over the island that early every day! Thank you for your overnight response the first day and your faithful delivery every day! Our umbrella stayed up and in the sand when many did not and the chairs were great for tanning or shade! Thanks again!
