We've been renting for more than 30 years and of all the homes we've stayed in this one tops our list. The house we rented from Beachside Vacations was clean with all needed amenities; the location was fantastic, with the back of the house having an ocean view and the golf cart path right outside the back of the house which was great for a morning walk. The community of Wild Dunes is really nice, and people were very respectful of keeping their distance. Beachside Vacations was very quick to respond to any inquiries and the company appears to be extremely well run, which is important when you're renting for a week. It is the first house where we didn't have any major issues and had to request a cleaning crew the day we got there. Additionally, Beachside Vacations was very accommodating with our request for extra cleaning and disinfecting of the home before we arrived.

Our seven-night stay at 15 54th Ave on Isle of Palms was very disappointing. We only received half of what we paid for, and Beachside didn't ready the home for our arrival. We booked this house for the pool, yard, stacked porches, and location to the beach. The yard, porches, and pool were a mess when we arrived. We checked in on Saturday and filed a complaint immediately. On Sunday, we realized the front door would not lock, and Beachside did fix that the next day. They also cleaned the leaves from the pool, but the water was still murky, and the pool was not treated and was unusable. Beachside blamed it on storms before our arrival, but we live locally, and there were no storms. Beachside lied and said the pool area and porches were power-washed, and cushions were removed and cleaned on Monday. Not true! The exterior needed a good power washing, and patio furniture needed to be cleaned before our arrival. This house was and is not ready for spring guests. The homeowners need to be aware of these issues. The wifi was in and out, and the cable was non-existent. I needed to be able to work remotely but could not do so because of bad wifi.The Vayk Gear credit was also disappointing because they delivered the wrong kayak that was too big for us to manage. We asked to modify the order, but it took over 48 hours to get customer service, and then they told me that our window to modify had expired. I have texts and emails that show we were within the window. They let us cancel the order, but we were disappointed not to have the $250 credit for the advertised beach gear.Worst of all, a kitchen cabinet next to the ice maker fell and landed on my friend's toe and broke it—no accountability by Beachside. Overall, the stay was not worth the price.We asked for a 50% refund, to be fair since we received less than half of what was advertised. Beachside denied any refund. All we got out of this vacation rental was a roof and a lot of grief with no resolution from Beachside. They also lied to us, stating that the porches were blown off, power washed, and the cushion covers were taken to be cleaned on Monday during our stay. The only cover taken was a slipcover on the living room couch because of the stains. Beachside's personnel never noticeably touched the porches during our stay. Porches were as filthy when we checked out as when we arrived.We never saw a pool company, the pool was not treated, and the storm they blamed it on never happened. We know because we live locally, and there were no storms that would cause the condition that the home was found. As far as pressure washing, that never happened! So, either Beachside lied to us or their personnel lied to them. It is sad that not only has Beachside lied to us, but they have lied to the owners because their so-called "quick response" was not at all the case. We checked in Saturday evening around 6 pm, and their personnel never showed up until Monday. That is not a quick response, and the issues were never resolved over our seven-night stay. We have five adults and three children who stayed/visited the home while we were there, and they can confirm all of these issues.It is incredibly disappointing that Beachside, not the owners, takes zero accountability for the lack of service to this home. Not to mention the fact that they never even acknowledged anything about the cabinet falling on our friend's foot, breaking her toe. I hope the homeowners see this review because 15 54th Avenue could be a fantastic vacation destination if adequately managed. We will never use Beachside Vacations again. Buyer beware!

We loved the quiet and peaceful location. The security of the resort was greatly appreciated. We enjoyed the convenient location of the pool and tennis courts. They were right across the street!!! The cart and beach chairs provided to us made our short walk to the beach very easy. And the close proximity of the beach was an added bonus. We were close to Charleston and were able to visit during our stay. We also appreciated the texts and emails that kept us informed of everything we needed to know. The use of codes instead of keys was very convenient for entry into the villa. It was a very nice Fall getaway.

We rented a 6br 6 bath house on the beach at Isle of Palms from Beachside Vacations. Everything was nice, clean and had a small issue and they sent someone out immediately to fix. Would definitely rent from them again! We recommend them highly!

Beachside Vacations does not live up to this 4.8 star google rating! I have rented many houses throughout my years and have never left a negative review for a rental company. We had some issues while renting a beach house from them in IOP which were not rectified in 3 days of our stay (AC not working and an ant infestation). They did move us to another house but it was not oceanfront which we paid extra for and we have been trying to get in touch with the manager Chad for 3 months now. He will not call us back to discuss the situation and is clearly avoiding his responsibilities and customers. Bad business practice! Beachside Vacations has several reports on the Better Business Bureau's website all claiming the same awful customer service from Chad and the fact that he won't return their calls. I also tried to leave a review on the house we rented on their website to warn others about the issues in this home. Beachside Vacations won't post it. In fact they haven't posted any reviews on this house since the summer of 2022. Huh? something fishy about that!!! We understand things happen in rental homes beyond your control sometimes, but you owe your home owners and renters the basics like running water, heating and air. And you owe your customers decent customer service like returning a phone call, not ignoring and hiding from problems. Do not rent from Beachside Vacations. If you have any issues with the house, they will most likely not get resolved and you won't be able to get in touch with management, ever!

My family has gone to Isle of Palms every spring break for years. This year we tried a new reality company and it was amazing! From the text that our house was ready, keyless entry to the house, beach gear that was delivered and picked up from our doorstep, the gorgeous house and the reminder texts throughout the week checking in and making sure we were doing well, I don’t think we’ll ever use another reality company. Beachside made it easy and our week was beautiful!

3704 Cameron Blvd, lovely house, pool is ice cold and they refuse to heat it under any circumstance(we offered to pay extra, like other houses in the area with heated pools). Considering we came down with kids, we would have rented another house had we known the pool was not heated. If you want a warm pool, try else where.

We spent a week at Wild Dunes and rented a lovely condo on the beach through Beachside Vacations. Their choices of rentals is extensive and their process helpful and efficient. I would recommend them and recommend Wild Dunes.

We loved our vacation at 114 Ocean Blvd! We had a perfect vacation and could not have asked for more! The house was amazing, the view was wonderful and being right off the ocean can't be beat! We highly recommend this house and Beachside Vacations and can't wait to return next year!

Working with Beachside Vacations was a great experience. From the start of the process they were amazing. I dealt with multiple members of their team and all of them were top-notch. I was able to plan an amazing Senior Trip for 18 students and 4 Chaperones in about 5 weeks thanks to Beachside. They were extremely helpful, flexible and very responsive as I worked through all the details. I couldn’t be more pleased with my experience working with Beachside Vacations. I plan to be back to Isle of Palms in the future and every trip will start with a call to Beachside Vacations

Beachside Vacations has some nice homes under management but beware, they are dishonest. We rented a home at Isle of Palms which was overall a nice home but we had some issues with amenities advertised in the online description being locked out or with signs saying they were not accessible to guests. I wrote a review saying that overall we liked the house but listed the few issues. Beachside published the review after heavily editing it to appear 100% positive. I'm not even sure that is legal, but why even have a review system if you will only publish positive reviews or heavily edit ones with some negative components. I depend on truthful and accurate reviews when choosing a vacation home. I wouldn't trust renting a home from Beachside unless you have seen it in person and found it acceptable. The reviews are worthless.

I am honestly so disappinted with this company. I vacation often and have used many different companies and have never left a bad review. I tried to leave a review in their website and because its a low rating, it wont let me post it.We stayed at a condo in wild dunes, 519 Seascape. The ad says that one side of the building is being "renovated" so rentals have been reduced. There is a huge difference between renovation and active construction. First, every morning at 745-8 am I was woke up by the loud construction. Second, you have to walk through an active construction zone to go to the pool or elevator. The ad makes it seem like one side of the building is being "renovated." I honestly have no idea how this company is renting condos in an active construction zone and there are a lot of safety hazards getting to your condo.You cannot access the bathrooms by the pool OR the shower to wash off your foot due to construction. Only one elevator is working, and it got stuck twice this week with guest on it. At one point the elevator wasn't working at all--thankfully, I am able to walk up 5 flights of stairs but my elderly mom cannot.The construction is outside of the building. So you cannot hear anyone talk even if they are 2 ft from you while at the pool.If I would have been warned about the fact this place is UNDER CONSTRUCTION and certain amenities are not available, I would have never paid $600 a night. I have never been so angry with a rental company in my life. I feel completely scammed.

Our family of three recently rented a villa at Wild Dunes on Isle of Palms through Beachside Vacations. The company was terrific to work with – very responsive, friendly and well-organized. The villa was clean, comfortable, well-stocked and beautifully decorated. The added credit for beach gear was much appreciated – we got three beach chairs, an umbrella and three bikes that we loved riding to the beach and around the property. We would highly recommend working with Beachside Vacations, and we will again!

Our family just completed our second stay in Isle of Palms and it was incredible. Beachside Vacations was so helpful from our booking all the way through our vacation. They ensured us that the house we rented on Grand Pavilion would be cleaned and sanitized with extra care and the home was immaculate. The accommodations were very well appointed and there was plenty of space for everyone. This is the second house on grand pavilion we’ve rented and it did not disappoint. We are looking forward to our trip next year!

My and I had a terrific week stay .One of the best vacations homes ever. The house had everything we needed for our stay. Very spacious 7 bedroom house on the beach. It was super clean and very up to date. Beachside made sure to keep us updated before our stay and during our stay. They are very responsive if you incur a problem with the house or grounds. We highly recommend Beachside Vacations. We love Isle Of Palms.

Port O Call F104 is a lovely one bedroom condominium right on the beach with beautiful views and sounds of the ocean. It has been beautifully updated with an especially nice kitchen and bath and lots of storage space throughout. We loved having ceiling fans in the living area, bedroom and porch. We thoroughly enjoyed our week here and have already booked for next year as it suits our needs perfectly.This is really a lovely property and it is obvious that the owners have worked hard to make it a special spot for their guests. I need to add that Beachside Vacations was wonderful to work with and very responsive to any questions. Their staff is friendly, professional, and very helpful and emailed lots of timely and useful information before our vacation. I highly recommend renting through Beachside!

This was the first time we had stayed in Wild Dunes on Isle of Palms and we have already booked again for 2021. 312 Seascape was just wonderful from the lovely ocean views to the amazing kitchen implements to cook fantastic meals! We loved the decor and appreciated the stack of books and games for rainy day reading. Beachside Vacations took care of sanitizing the condo, sending reminder emails and excellent notices about restaurants, groceries, and shopping. We had a super time and can't wait to return in November, 2021!

The condo we rented at Beach Club Villas in Wild Dunes was wonderful. There was plenty of room for our family of 6. Each bedroom as well as the common areas were well appointed and very comfortable. The kitchen was great and had everything that we needed. We were only a few steps from the beach which was so convenient. The views at sunrise and sunset were outstanding. Beachside Vacations made check-in a breeze too. Highly recommend this beautiful spot for your next vacation!

We loved our accommodations at Seascape - we highly recommend this property! Beautiful view from the comfortably furnished large balcony - great place for drinking morning coffee and taking in the beach and ocean views. The bedrooms were large and comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped and the living space was well-decorated and had everything we needed. Great location. Highly recommend Beachside Vacations and the Seascape property!

We enjoyed our stay in #5 32nd avenue which is a beautifully decorated home with a private pool in walking distance to the beach. The beds were comfortable and each bedroom has its own bathroom as well. The large kitchen was great for cooking and eating at home. We enjoyed our rented bikes that we rode to the tennis/basketball courts nearby and around the island. Beachside Vacations was very responsive with any questions or minor issues we had. We would love to rent here again!

Before my trip they emailed me info about the surrounding area, gave dining recommendations, and they sent a list of what was included in my rental unit, and what I needed to pack. I have zero worries with them when we are dealing with places that are thousands of dollars. So that says a lot!

We adored our stay in Wild Dunes and the service that Beachside Vacations provided.The unit we rented was perfect for our family and impeccably cleaned upon our arrival. The bike rental partnership they have was also a huge plus -- so nice to have everything dropped off/picked up for our stay. We decided to extend our stay by a night as well as book a future trip and the customer service for both of those requests were prompt and friendly. They made the entire experience smooth and hassle free. I highly recommend.

We stayed in a beautiful rental with Beachside for a girls trip. This home was gorgeous, well-kept, updated and so spacious. Beachside definitely made us feel welcome and they were super accommodating with a couple of questions/requests I had made. Plus, they were so responsive too when there were a couple minor things to address. Definitely recommend and would absolutely rent through them again!
