Good heavens, why do I love this place so much!? Maybe because I've been reading lots of books lately about farming and living off the land: (Little Britches, Grapes of Wrath, Little House on the Prairie, Anne of Green Gables, etc.) I walk in and feel like I'm connecting myself to my heritage. It's a great place.

Tractor Supply no longer Carries any prescriptions so I ordered through there prescription store ( find out they are totally unrelated and can’t speak English!!!!!!) the idiots that I ordered Bravecto ( simple flea medicine) from at “ Tractor supply Rx” sent my order to an unknown address. I called them and got another person with poor English skills and all she did was give me an overnight delivery charge free. The med was supposed to already be here!! Then she offered a 25 credit on my next PRESCRIPTION ORDER!!! What??? First off I won’t be using these inept people again and secondly I’d have to wait for ny dog to need a prescription. So now I’m out of my $ and had to pay AGAIN without my refund back in my bank! DO NOT USE TRACTOR SUPPLY FOR PRESCRIPTIONS!!!!! Totally wasted my time and held up money! Plus good luck understanding them Vice versa when you call. I went to tractor supply for years and they are losing me and everyone I tell this sorry story to. I’m shocked at how bad they were compared to what I had been used to…. Chewy has all of the same scripts for less money… do yourself a favor and use them. Plus they waive delivery all the time anyway.

My husband and I absolutely love this store and today Cory made me love it even more. I was shopping for a product and found it on sale at Northern Tool. I called Tractor Supply and asked if they would price match and Cory said absolutely come on down. I was there within 10 minutes, paid for it, received $30 off with the price match and Cory carried it to my car while friendly Ms Sandy took my payment. I was in and out of there within about 7 minutes. Awesome store and awesome friendly employees. I can’t leave out Peyton and Mike too. Peyton originally took the call and handed over to Cory and when I got there not only was I greeted with Sandy’s smiling face Mike gladly called Cory up front for me. Great people!

I have always felt welcome when I do go there. The young blonde lady has always been beyond friendly to me and very helpful. The lady at the front is so sweet. I do not leave my home much and those two ladies make me feel that I'm not being judged when I do go out. I have so many critters and they have a lot of good deals as well.

The store itself was fine, and the staff were nice. My issue came down to an item with a clearance tag on it for $2.30 or something, and then the item rang up at $39.99 at the register.I showed the associate where it was, and the tag had the exact item description and everything, and even had more of the item up there. And there was no other spot for the item.I ended up asking the associate if they could check in with the supervisor, and it turned out the supervisor wouldn't honor the tag price because she said it was an old clearance tag (there wasn't a date on it).I'm not Normally one to complain about these things, I've worked retail and I get how customers can be. But every retail store I have worked at would have taken care of the customer and fixed whatever their mistake was afterwards, instead of just ruining their entire (first time) shopping experience at the store.

There isn’t enough good things to say about the team at Irmo Tractor Supply. I’ve been a happy customer for years but today they all went above and beyond! I had a lot on my mind and left a cart full of needed pet supplies in my cart, in the parking lot. (It was a DAY.) I called in a panic when I realized what I had left and they not only went and found it, they put it back inside for me and I got nothing but understanding and compassion when I got back to pick up my purchases. Their smiling faces and understanding today was exactly what I needed. Thank you!

I visited Tractor Supply today. I am currently on crutches do to a bruised bone. I was looking for Friskies canned cat food for my kitties, they are particular, and it turns out there is a shortage. I was looking at the cat food aisle and everything I needed was in overstock. A young dark haired gentleman came up with a platt full of bags of animal food asked if he could help me. He brought out a step ladder and brought down the food I needed. He then walked it to checkout, waited for me to finish my transaction, and walked it to my car, all this without me even asking him to do so!!! You don't get help like this anymore, especially from our young people today!! He was amazing!! My check out girl Hannah was also so sweet, told me to be safe and take care. I told her I was sorry was taking a long time with my crutches and she told me " No" I was fine and take my time. I will return to this store because of them even though I paid about $10 more for my cat's food than I ever have before.The amazing customer service will make me come back over and over!! Please, give these 2 people a raise, they deserve it!!

I was just in to pick up some pet supplies today July 21 at 10:43 AM and the cashier was Taylor or Tay via the name tag and I just wanted to say they had some of the best customer service I’ve come across in a very long time and really brightened my day. It’s a shame you can’t clone Taylor for other businesses struggling to find great customer service at the moment because this was above and beyond. Thank you!

I've had the greatest help today from Terry. He heard my Son making a big fuss and he motioned us to come over to the baby chicks and my son loved it. I then told him thaty wife and I were looking to raise some chickens and goats and he assured us "This is what we do...we can help with anything from coops to feed for both your chickens and goats." This is our first time trying to raise farm animals and Terry made sure we felt comfortable. I'm going to be one of those "Is terry working?" Customers...so sorry in advance 🙂

Employees overall are nice and helpful. First time I ordered online, it was a bit rough but it worked out in the end. Only giving 4 instead of 5 stars due to the online order issue. The store itself is great.

Used to love this store until the recent change in management. Now it’s just disappointing. The place stays absolutely filthy (busted bags of dog food on the floor, sale fliers littering floor, plastic wrappings everywhere) and even when shipments have been in for days, they are slow to make it to the shelves.The only workers that know what they’re doing are the few that stayed from before the management change. The new employees seem utterly clueless about what it takes to run a feed & supply store. Very unhelpful people! I wish that there was an alternative store for all my farm needs, but unfortunately there isn’t. I hope the new store manager reads this and makes some changes for the better...

Absolutely love this place. Could spend hours in here just wandering, actually I have! Everything from boots and clothing to tools to baby chickens to candy.We go through copeuous amounts of birdseed monthly, in fact, I sometimes think my wife ensures the birds are fed better than I am! :) TSC is our go to store for anything bird related. Can not beat their prices or selections.

Our car battery died in the Chick-fil-A parking lot beside Tractor Supply Co. One of the guys working there went out of his way to get some jumper cables and jump our car. He insisted we didn't need to buy anything to show our appreciation, only if we need the item. We did buy jumper cables (which he also helped us find the appropriate size for our car. He said the ones he used were unnecessarily big and helped us find a functional, smaller, less expensive set) because they are just a good idea to have around and later bought a battery. Very, very kind and helpful man!

Went in to get two propane cylinders filled. Thought I'd go in the morning when they were less busy. Unfortunately, only two people were working at the time. The cashier had to page her coworker 3 times before he finally went outside to help me. When questioned about it he said he didn't hear the page. Then later said he was in the bathroom. Bad timing on my part I guess. I give them a 1 star on today's visit, but overall the store is good. ...and propane is half the price of your typical cylinder exchange. Suggestion for management...coach your staff to use the bathroom on their break next time or staff the store with more than two workers during the morning hours.

This place is a joke. Bunch of children playing shop. Told me " I am to busy to assist with your request" over the phone .. when I was inquiring about an online order. So busy , they don't need your money. Shop elsewhere . they are Okay with you doing so.

Was trying to buy a dog house which was located in a fenced in area outside that was locked. Couldn't tell what they had through the fence and returned inside the store to request help with gaining access so I could look to see what was there. I asked a young woman to help me and she said that she would be right there once she did a price check. After 10 minutes of waiting in the chilly temperatures, I contacted PetSmart and they had what I wanted and would match tractor supply's price. I left without buying anything. I'll return but won't ask for help again.

Megan, Mike, Chad are the best. Megan is always smiling and remembers you name when you come in. I bought a mower, Megan and Mike explained everything about the mower. They are great assets to tractor supply. Way better than big box stores.

Staff was disinterested. I asked for a 6 point, thin wall, 1 1/16 inch socket with a half inch drive. He and the expert looked at me as if had landed from outer space and then rolled their eyes. I then walked to the correct section and picked out the correct socket. Paid and left.

I went there to pick up a piece of lawn equipment. This was a large item that was stored Outdoors. The clerk and the manager came outside to help load it and we found that owner's manuals has been ruined by water and there was considerable collection of dirt and pollen on the machine. Ultimately the manager gave me a generous discount on the transaction.
