My pup Bentley just had the most wonderful experience with Sydney and Lindsay! They weren't just groomers, they were absolute dog magicians!Bentley can be a little nervous around new people, but Sydney and Lindsay put him right at ease. They were so patient and gentle with him throughout the entire grooming process. I could tell they genuinely care about dogs.The cut itself is fantastic! He looks absolutely spiffing (and smells amazing too!). Sydney and Lindsay clearly have a talent for dog styling, and they were able to perfectly execute the style I requested.

I took my yorkie puppy here to get groomed. Sydney was the groomer who took care of him and she was so delightful! She was sweet and very welcoming. My puppy was nervous at first but she handled him so well. When I picked him up, he didn't act nervous around her at all and was very happy. He looked so cute too. I had no issues at all and recommend them!

The store is clean and well stocked, I never had an issue until I tried the groomer. She made it as difficult as possible and when I managed to follow all of the rules and get her what she needed, she took her frustrations out on my dog and somehow made the cutest dog on the planet look very bad. I believe that they are understaffed and overwhelmed. They do not have the time it takes to properly brush out and actually groom a dog. What you end up with is a bad buzz cut that you will have to even out, it will take months and a professional groomer to straighten out. I probably could have done a better job myself. Longer where it should be short and short where it should be long, crooked. Not to mention a bit overpriced. I truly believe that she did it so that I would not come back again, and she would be right. I will also take my pet supply business somewhere else. Absolutely hands down my worst experience with a groomer in 30 years! My advice would be, go anywhere else! I have included before and after pictures for clarification, Koko is a 1 1/2 year old 12 lb. Schnoodle and as sweet as she can be. She doesn't have a mean bone in her body and this groomer did this to her. She has no business being a groomer in my opinion. Bad attitude, zero customer service skills, no passion or drive to be better, and very poor grooming skills. I will let the pictures speak for themselves.Update: Don't ever sign up for their rewards program because it is impossible to get off of it! I have tried the local store as well as the corporate office numerous times and I am still getting mail from them. It only serves to remind me how inept they are!!! Stop the junk mail already!!!

I called late in the evening and told them I didn't remember what brand of dog food I had purchased last. They looked it up for me and pulled the product. The next day they had everything ready for me. She young lady took the product to my car for me. Very attentive and nice people to do business with.

Always nice, fair prices AND price matches... literally the only place I take my dogs for grooming since the staff is always friendly, helpful, and a joy to talk to. The grooming staff aren't fiesty like petsmart or petco ones are and services are so fair priced! The DOG COOKIES AND DONUTS?! adorable! Fair price- like I can go on and on. Love this place! These people care about pets and it shows.

Live and Learn! I should have known better than to go to a chain retail store for grooming. It seems they are merely interested in quantity of work( grooming), not quality. They shaved both of my dogs instead of spending the time to demat them, and still charged a dematting fee even though they shaved them. Never again will I go to Pet Supplies Plus!

I used to order from Chewy because I can't stand lugging 50 lb bags of dog food and 35 lb cat litter. I get coupons in the mail from PSP all the time so I ordered from them and got free delivery and the coupon and I earn reward points. Not only that, if I order by 11am I usually receive it by 2 pm! How is this not the best thing ever? They have everything I need even if they are not a huge warehouse size store. Try it and you will love it too. When I do go in the store everyone is friendly and helpful.

Although I think the prices are very high, Carrie did a great job on my dog and my dog seemed very happy after. I understand that the prices have to encompass all dogs of all temperaments but my dog is probably the easiest dog to groom and I think Carrie would attest

Really nice! Very clean and well organized. That matters a lot to me in a pet store. We also happened to run out of dog food two days before Christmas, and the store was handling the busy season very well!

I love this location! Brightens my day every time I visit. The staff are friendly and helpful, and Lindsay in particular always greets my dog by name when we come in. I find everything I need for dogs and my aquarium, and they have great sales. Five stars.

I went yesterday and the staff greet my dogs first then me, which is fine since my dogs are their favorites, specially my 3.5 pounds Chihuahua that i carry in a bag.Edit: I added a picture of my dog checking on the food. He gets treats everytime

Always out of food bowls when I need to replace them. I have three dogs and I buy the same for each. The last time I had to drive to 5 Pts to get 3 of the same size. They do not reorder these on a timely basis. Long time customer. Rest is ok. 👍🏻

Store is always clean and very well stocked. The reason I gave a 4 start rating is I had a 25.00 of coupon and it only takes a certain percentage off of each item you purchase. Other than that I really like this place and they always have a lot of items on sale.

I have been a shopper at Pet Supplies Plus Irmo for many many years, and I always feel comfortable. I easily find what I need, and leave with a smile. I feel like this is a neighborhood "family" store. Any time I have a question, someone walks me to the place where that item is. I have started taking my pets there for baths, also, and really enjoy that service. I find the products I need, and always feel comfortable here. Thanks!

The groomer straight up lied to my face about an age cut-off for grooming. My dog is 15...they groomed her once before earlier this year when she was 14, and today said their age cut off is 12. However, their website FAQ says :"Is my pet too old to be groomed?No, we can groom pets of all ages. We take special care of our senior pets. A senior is defined as any small breed over the age of 10 and any large breed over the age of 7. The pet must be able to stand on its own throughout the service."Who discriminates against dogs for being a certain age?? Many, many dog breeds have to be groomed until the day they die...she just did not want to put in the patience to groom my poodle or to groom an elderly dog, and my dog does not have any major health issues - I was willing to get the vet to send over a letter to address all the bs she was asking me to prove. So she used the excuse that 15 was too old. People like that have no business grooming anyone's pet. Will not ever go there again and do NOT recommend!

I brought my dog in today to get groomed. It normally takes 40/45 mins to get there so I left my house an hour before hand so I would have ample time. Unfortunately there was an accident on 26 and I was to get there at 1:15 PM (because of the accident) my appointment was at 1:00 PM I called to let them know about this issue before 1 o’clock. They told me if I got there at 1:15 they would be able to take us. I got there at 1:15 and they told me they would not take us after I had already spoke with them on the phone regarding this. I am 6 months pregnant and drove over and hour to get there and they refused me service after I called to inform them. I would not recommend you taking your animal somewhere, where they don’t care about the customers.

They always have crickets!! Staff is very nice and prices are really good. They have a little doggie bakery stand and always have a doggie cupcake or bone that says happy birthday. Good selection of Beta Fish and stuff for reptiles.
