Having the receipt of purchase is not enough at this store for them to process your return! You have to return the item before the time limit is up!! Makes absolutely no sense. I'll take my business elsewhere! No Stars is my real review!!

Great Store ! everybody is friendly but not overly friendly which I appreciate. Sometimes I have a hard time explaining what the hell it is I'm trying to figure out in my brain and what sort of gadget I may or may not need to look at or buy to try to fix whatever dumb thing broke at my house. handy I am not. they take the time to listen and for that I am grateful.

Honestly this place is the best! My dad comes in all the time and they've had everything we needed everytime! The staff has always been so nice and they're always willing and ready to help! Today, the propane tank at my house was leaking and a very kind gentleman named Kyle came by and fixed it for us! If I could give more stars I honestly would!

Always have no issues eventually finding what we came in here for but there us this one employee, not quite sure his name but he wears glasses and has brown hair. Anyways basically from the moment we come in the store he's following us around almost as if we are shoplifting and then will even come over and tries to get us to buy everything but what we actually came in there for. He truly makes us feel super uncomfortable from the first moment he notices us in the store. Can't even go down an aisle without him literally right there. Im sorry but my husband and I don't look like shoplifters and if he views all customers this way and this is how he treats customers then maybe a job in the public eye is not for him. Because of his actions we try not to go to that ace at all and that's sad because they are so close to our house. I'll try to get a name the next time i go in but pretty sure the guy is always wearing glasses. He walks around the store never seen him actually be a cashier. But if i decide i need to come and have no other option ill ask the guy his name that always follows us that seems to think we are stealing

A true down to earth local hardware store with sincere associates. I was greeted by the store owner as I walked in. The associate responsible for the plumbing department was busy with a group of customers but quickly assisted me anyway. The cashier was friendly and polite as well.

Horse and Garden is Always a great place to shop. The store is clean, organized and has a friendly knowledgeable staff. If they don't have what you want and you can give them a little time they can usually have it in a week or less. Their prices are competitive too!

My local store, always knowledgeable and helpful, I go there a couple times a week. Occasionally options are limited due to the physical size of the store, just call ahead and ask and they can order it if necessary

We are lucky that this store is about one mile from our home and the B&B we run. More than once in the last few months while in the middle of putting new plants, trees, and bushes into the ground, we ran out of MG Garden Soil. They are always there for us when we run out or need something special ordered or ordered online to be delivered there. They continue to go out of their way no matter what. I would recommend this store to anyone. Much rather shop here than at the Big Box stores.

I have been going to Horse and Garden more years than I can remember. Always a polite, friendly and knowledgeable staff to help you. They didn't have what I was looking for being a very specific Buck pocket knife. I had been carrying one for years that I had lost and wanted to replace it with the same style. They carry Buck knives so they went on line and we found exactly what I was looking for. They told me that they would order it and it would be in the following Tuesday, this being late in the week. All they wanted was my name and phone number and told me they would call and send me a text when it was received. I asked and they didn't want any money until I got my knife. Like clockwork I got a call Tuesday afternoon. It's so nice to shop with people who care about their customers like the staff from Horse and Garden. That's why I have and will always be loyal to them.

I have been shopping here for decades! I remember when Richard’s (the owner) father ran the store. The store is an icon in the community. I prefer to use them since I can walk in, show the item I need to any of the clerks and they can take you straight to the item. They have hardware products, garden plants in season, fertilizer, clothes and boots. They sell Stihl equipment and I have purchased a blower, chain saw and weed eater over the years. I love that they sharpen chain saws and it takes about 10 minutes and cost $ 9.00. This is better than my time and poor job at sharpening.Kyle has been there for years and is great. Tony is new and is easy to talk with and the register clerks are always courteous.As you may be able to tell, I love Horse and Garden.

I have been going it Horse and Garden for over 20 years. Sure some of their prices may be a little higher than the bigger stores but they more than make up for it in service. The staff is always help full and friendly. I like to give special shout out to Kyle the young man has been there a long time has always gone above and beyond the call of duty.

The store is nice, has a bit of everything. The prices are expensive. All of the clothes and shoes are marked with a bright orange tag that says Sale! but most of it is not actually on sale. We've been there about 5 or 6 times and have never once felt welcomed. The same woman has been the cashier every time, and I have yet to see her greet us when we walk in or smile. Ever. Isn't that their motto? "Ace, The Friendly Place"?? The last time we were there, her name tag said assistant manager. That's a shame.
