The manager here is one that is thought of highly at the local High School. The store is always clean, and all the employees seem eager and happy to help. My go to store!!!!

We need to shut down this Food Lion and put up a Lowe's Food Market. We are surrounded by three Food Lions within 5 minutes of each other but they always seem to have frozen stale bread that never comes into the store fresh, rotten, moldy fruit and vegetables that are disgusting and old. The problem is no one complains because we are used to it - well, now we complain. This stops NOW.

The buy one, get one free deals are one my favorite shopping experiences. I also receive coupons in the mail that are a huge saving when i grocery shop. Once you sign up for the "free" membership, it's all about savings from there. I've had the free membership for many years and use it every time i grocery shop.

Ignore the fake 5 star reviews here. This Food Lion is literally selling us expired vegetables and fruits. I am a vegan and you have no idea how many times I have to leave because the produce is expired or near expired. This is absolutely unacceptable and I have contacted corporate.

Very clean store. All registers being ran by a person and not self checkout. Checkout lines did not move that fast. Had to pay with a large bill and was ask for something smaller or another option to pay and had to wait for a manager to override my pay option which is only reason for 4 rating. Friendly cashier. Well organized/labeled/laid out store

The clerk Samantha always remembers me and makes me feel welcome. She is knowledgeable about her job patient and helpful. As a person with special needs it is a clerk like this that keeps me coming back to this location for my grocery shopping weekly.

Great store! Always well stocked! Staff friendly and helpful. Their deli selection is decent but their chicken salad serving portions are 1/3 container at almost 4$. Surprised if they ever sell anything that way.

My wife and I shop at this store all the time. It is very convenient to where we live. We both have had many discussions about this store. Almost everytime we go there one or both of us come out mad. The check out ladies are very short to the point of being rude! I was there this morning and the lady my wife complains about checked me out. This was the first time I have ever dealt with her but I saw what my wife was talking about. When she was coming to the checkout station she was smiling and joking with the other employees, when she saw me her entire demeanor changed. She was very cold and had a blank look on her face. I don't like feeling the way she made me feel. Like I was a disease. After the transaction I collected my bag and thanked her, she just looked away as if I didn't matter to her. My wife and I have seen her on several occasions just lite up around black people...but she is completely different when white people approach her station. We never treat anyone differently no matter who they are, everyone is the same to us! I don't like going to this store but it's on our side of town. I don't like the way I feel when I leave. She never even THANKED ME!

I love the updated look and feel of the store. It also seems better staffed so you don't stand on line for what seems like forever. The only thing I would like to see is a larger international selection to include produce.

Food Lion clean and well stocked! The aisles also wide enough for two shopping carts. Courteous staff and they keep the checkout lines moving along.

Food Lion is great store for,visiting I've shopped here yrs regular customer, great products and great customer service, I've experienced times 🤷🏽‍♀️only one staff member is totally RIDICULOUS w/checking out a customer, her customer service performance is extremely poor, nothing personal, she appears to be doing her best, but she takes Absolutely too long to check customers out, I definitely will avoid her line, because I don't even get what I asked for, I cashed in 2 tickets $14 total, I wanted that back for, which is 7 I got 5 I noticed b4 leaving I got more change back, because I didn't get what I for. She DEFINITELY doesn't need to be dealing with customers, sorry that's just the way it is 🤷🏽‍♀️🙏🏽

This place might be a small town store, but those are the best. Community is important, customers are family (even the neighborhood crazies), and the store is always clean! Aside from the occasional accidental customer mess. Good southern hospitality is housed here in little ol Hopkins, SC!

Food Lion is a very small store! As little as it is, it is still difficult to locate items. The set up doesn’t make a lick of sense! They are expensive with Walmart just down the street it doesn’t really pay to shop there. Also with Bo-Lo one can get decent fruit, veggies and protein that is fresh and of good quality!

Is a good grocery store prices vary you have to watch as you do anywhere else but it is a great place overall if you watch the deal there are always plenty of them most all of the people are very helpful

Store is kind of small and not much variety. They never have more than one or two checkout lines open, so the lines are usually pretty long. Some cashiers are also pretty slow. Not the cheapest prices either.

Usually it's a pleasant experience but today the cashier that cash me out wasn't pleasant she had No Customer Service etiquette, I said Hi she said nothing really Rude. It disnt appear to just be a bad day but it seem as if its her character. I've been shopping at this location over 10 years. Smh, I don't see her working customer service without training & wanting to be a Better employee. Will not change my 5 star rating on the count of one sour lemon

I went here to pick up some of the weekend sale items.i had a 50% success rate.i cover a lot of ground during the week and shop at certain store locations.this one was convenient to me at the time but not one I would repeat.i believe if you put items on sale you should have plenty of stock until the sale end date.not the most friendly cashier either.

I once gave this store a 5-star, but we went inside recently and literally the cashier did not speak one word to us as we checked out. No, 'Hello', or 'Your total is...' At one point, she was just starting off into space.My husband went to use the bathroom and decided against it because there was feces all over the stall - not just the toilet. Thankfully, there is another Food Lion not too far away that I think I'll choose from now on.

Food Lion is HORRIBLE. We have 3 stores on a stretch of Hwy no more than 2 miles apart and none of the 3 have the shelves stocked. The quality of groceries is horrendous . If Walmartcan keep the shelves stocked why can't 3 Food Lion grocery stores. I will not be shopping there ! It's Publix Lowes and Whole Foods for me!
