I had just moved here and didn’t bring a whole lot of stuff with me so it was like I was starting new. I prayed to God to help me to find a place that had affordable nice/ decent stuff for my home and every time I prayed he sent me to Haven of Rest in Honea Path SC and I was able to buy a great washer and dryer that works just fine, a couch and other odds and wends and a dresser and a bed and I was just in a Big Lay-off from my job and hadn’t totally started my unemployment yet but their prices are so reasonable and what they sale goes to help people get their lives back so I felt good that they were helping me and my money was helping others. Wonderful people there.

I shop at this store often, like every other week. The one employee has always been rude but I like going to this store because it's close to home. Unfortunately after today I will not be doing any business with them. The one lady is very rude and unprofessional. They had a sign up that said "ALL BOOKS 50¢". I asked the lady at the register if all books were 50¢ and she said yes. I then asked for the books that were in the display case and was told they were not included in the sale. I had also found 2 other books on a table but was told those are not on sale either. She got really upset with me because I said that's false advertising. Well needless to say I will never be back to this store.

Love the store and the help it gives people stock is really low lack of donations. No help or anyone to ask questions about anything. Higher prices. Hope donations pick up place was packed last time i.was there with nothing in stock.update no longer go here due to former workers telling of bedbugs everywhere. Be careful when you shop here.

GCD Solutions and Travel regret to write negative reviews but just shopped at this location. The cashier was very pleasant to talk to we were talking about church and what our business did... It is a Christian thrift store!!!! . . We went to personally give the cashier a business card to reach us for prayer needs.... When all of a sudden... the manager interrupted our conversation by advising us any of our helpful free advertising services has to be cleared the the store headquarters. However as a store manager, the lady refused to assist us and referred us to contact Headquarters ourselves.... The manager wouldn't even allow us to give the cashier a card for prayers.... hummmmmm... She was unfortunately very unhelpful to our staff. The lady at the counter, Kudos! I have stopped by this obscure store the people are really nice but I Have not seen anything here worth buying in three stops. Stuff is spread out because there isn't much to stock I guess .
