Honea Path has to have a grocery store for those who can't travel far for their daily needs. My dislikes of Food Lion are that the produce does last fresh long. Name Brand Products are being replaced by Food Lion brand, which are not as good. In order to get mediocre meats, you have to pay a high price for which the average individual is not willing to pay due to how high the economy is. My husband & I have traveled outside of Honea Path in order to get a better "bang for our buck." Being on a fixed income, we have to shop smarter.

I'm really happy they didn't close this location and have done a lot of renovations. For being in a very small market, this store is very well stocked and maintained, and the staff are extremely curtious. Prices are what they are, so you have to shop sales just like everywhere else. The self checkouts here are easy to operate, look up items, and overall some of the best I've used. This location does keep a couple of lines open with cashiers and not just express lanes; which for me us a huge help. Seeing smiling courteous staff has taken care of any problems including me forgetting a bag of fruits which they kindly put in refrigerated section and retrieved for me when I came back. Thanks.

I'm new to this small town but this little store is just too cute. Its a very clean store and I really appreciate that. They have a lot of young employees but they have been nothing but pleasant and always smiling. Makes me love being a part of this little small town. I like simple and easy. Thanks Food Lion!!!

We shop the Food lion for organic foods that we don't grow ourselves. This store always has a fresh supply of organic fruits and veggies at a reasonable price. The produce staff are very helpful and friendly as well. We can find other organic products as well, for instance, organic cocoa powder in the baking section and organic canned goods. The store is clean and the staff are great!

They are friendly and clean but I have to say they have done some strange things redo the store after shutting down for so long when they opened up and had sold all the stores inventory just a year before but no don't complete the remodeling job when they already had everything off the floor not waste more money and make things more inconvenient 1 Year later but taken one section out at a time and not have what you need for the customers because of your poor time and money Management. But my biggest problem at the store is every time there is a sale on drinks or anything they never have any to sell l you. Now is that the goal to get you there to buy other things or is it just bad you can call it smart Management but if you are so bad to not have enough even on the first day of a sale that last 7 days isn't good but the other option is you are that shady that you would do it on purpose to get customers to come to the store for these deals and not have any to sale you but know people are prone to still buy things while they are. Grant you when it BI/LO they had a rain check thing where if you wanted the discount and they didn't have any they would give you a rain check for the items you would've wanted to buy so if the sale went off before they had more in stock then you would get that many the next time at the same sale price even if the sale was done. No not now they gave me attitude and told me well go shop somewhere else if you don't like it but we don't have the same policies.

Always a great shopping experience! The cashier was courteous and great at her job! They had everything we needed! Their store was very clean! The cashier was fast too! It really was a wonderful experience, even with all three of our kids and one on the way. Thank you for keeping everything well run and safe! 🤗🤗🤗💖

This was my first time at a Food Lion. It was my lucky day. They had an unbelievable sale going on. I only went in for a few things I came out with almost a cartful. Everybody there was very friendly. The store was extremely clean. Everything was Super Fresh. This is my new go to store for grocery shopping. If you've never been there you got to try it.

Yikes!!!!!! We thought Bilo was bad. In their defense they are doing a lot of things to revamp the place painting, new signage, flooring etc. The problem is is we keep buying food and the food is spoiled which is quite aggravating when you have a long drive to get there so it's not convenient just to take the item back. There's a real nice and friendly guy back in produce who always says hello.

I really like the Food Lion in Honea Path, because I have found some really good prices there at times. I love the fried Chicken, and it always seems so fresh. The staff I have met are friendly and the store is clean. I wish they had hot deli items, and you could buy a plate if wanted. Overall, got to give it a 5... I like it.

We stopped here on the way to Hickory Knob State Park to pick up food for our weekend camping trip. This is by far one of the cleanest grocery stores we have ever shopped. The floors, restrooms, and such were very clean. The shelves were organized and well-stocked, and the staff was friendly and helpful. I don’t take the time to leave a lot of reviews, but I felt the management and staff of the Food Lion in Honea Path need to be commended for a job well done. Thank you for a pleasant shopping experience. It was a great start to our weekend getaway.

Pretty much all the Staff is awesome, friendly and professional, the prices aren't always that great but sometimes the sales help out. I gave 3 stars because lots of prices are higher then when it was a bilo. Also because some mornings when I go, the staff or delivery people that stock the bread are usually not that nice. Also because for the almost 16 years I've lived here, it is and always has been a known fact by almost everyone in town, that when you park in their parking lot, just be prepared for a possible dent on your car. They really need to redo the parking lot to widen the spots, and parking at the end of the lot doesn't always help. There are more issues, but they aren't that big a deal.

I have bought hamburger meat from the store several times and it has been old. I finally got tired of buying meat freezing it the day I buy it and pulling it out of the freezer for the second term after I spent $20 in this store in honea path sc. I called and spoke to a girl name Caitlyn. She was very nice and helpful and kept putting me on the phone to ask all of my questions to make sure she answered them properly. Her manager never got on the phone though for her and apologize for me unless she was the manager pretending like she didn’t know what the policy was. I let her know I was going to leave a review and not shop at Food Lion anymore because I cannot afford to buy meat and then freeze it The same day and then a week later it be old. Because it was probably not good to begin with. Hopefully Food Lion in Honea Path will get it together because when it was bi lo we did not have this problem. Since I did not keep the receipt and I did not have it in the original packaging there’s nothing they can do. If I ever have to buy hamburger meat from there again I will keep my receipt and original packaging in case there’s a problem but I don’t think I will be able to have anymore of my business go to Food Lion for their meat anymore. I have not had this problem at any Food Lion in Greenwood South Carolina only at the honea Path good lion.

The store was really clean & I liked all of the items up for sale. My one complaint was when I got to checkout the lady doing groceries was really unfriendly & rude. I will avoid her next time if she:s still there.

Prices were high. Not only that I wish there was a self check out. I pushed my buggy to the guy bagging up our groceries before the cashier even started scanning our items and he didn’t even put the bags in the buggy I had to put them in myself he didn’t even acknowledge us after he was done bagging our groceries he went to another register. The cashier was very friendly though.

Its getting better! Need special quality super foods & Diabetic no or low sugar items. I've just started going back in since the take over. I started shopping at Ingles in Belton. Food Lion purchased 5 major food chains & in Honea Path and sure of most, they were selling out-dated items from store to store claim 50 % off sales - thats why I left & returned to Ingles.....Being affiliated with Food Service, this is my opinion!Its all about money and not Customer Service these days.....

It's unfortunate the staff is always great but you have to check expiration dates... Their meat prices are very expensive and unless you cook the meat the same day you buy it, there's no point... because it spoils quickly.... I'd love to give them a five star rating... but the meat prices and quality alone just aren't there
