If I could give this place 0 stars I would. The employees are extremely unprofessional. I went in today and decided I’d buy my children each a toy. They were listed as buy 1 get 1 75% off. When I went to check out the discount did not apply. I asked the employee about it and he seemed to be aggravated by me asking about it like he just didn’t want to do his job. He then told me it was blue dot yellow star so I asked him how I can tell the difference of which toys and he sarcastically said “ones a star and ones a dot”. They have all the toys in the same area with a tag over all of them. As I walked out of the door I heard him say to a manager “how stupid can she be”. Not to mention he had hickies all over him. I have reported this to corporate. The employees name is Shannon Jones. Absolutely do not recommend going here.

I went here today the store is filthy nothing like the photos show of this store. Trash is Everywhere and has to search threw boxes to get what I need. One of the girls working there had her little children with her in a shopping cart while she works. They were crying . Poor babies. They need to close this Place down not only is it filthy and girls overcharging to pocket money it's disgusting. They should have left Tony the manager he ran it like a tight ship it was never dirty and everything was out of boxes and on the shelves. They need to fire EVERYONE in there and bring Tony back. It's like this all the time. How am supposed to shop if there are so many carts with stuff blocking the isles!

I tried to buy 4 flower pots (sign said buy 1 get 1 free of garden items). However cashier said they weren't included since only items listed in small print were BOGO). I tried unsuccessfully to explain that those items were the ones EXCLUDED from the sale since EXCLUDED was listed before the items. The lady behind me also said she had been to two other DG stores that day and had gotten flower pots for BOGO price.

This store is so filthy and nasty. Nothing is stocked and all you ever see pulling in is what I assume is the manager or lead outside vaping. Literally the only thing she knows how to do obviously..not running the store..or stocking...or doing her job.. she stays with a nasty unwelcoming attitude as well. Cashier was decent as least. I'll stick to foodlion or drive the few extra minutes somewhere else. This store screams disaster maybe get an employee that doesn't stand in front the front doors vaping all day and does her job.

Cluttered with merchandise in isles. Does not honor FedEx pickup or Drop-off. Sales prices are often old or wrong. Terrible Dollar General location.

9:30am and door is closed with no note explaining. Always a mess with carts in the isles. Came back at 12:35pm and associate was outside on telephone. She went in to wait on a customer. After she finished with customer, she went back outside to talk on phone again leaving customers unattended inside the store.Prices are not being changed and management or cashiers will not honor what the shelf tag says.I will not be back to this store.

Hit or miss. Sometimes the shelves are empty and others there are decent deals through most of the store. You have to know your prices on items in order to effectively ship here and save. Some things are good deals and some...not so much. Store is compact and has a lot for its size and narrow isles. Over all it's a decent quick stop that has a little of everything if you don't want to drive 30 minutes into town for it.

CHECK YOUR RESEATS! Iv now gotten double charged for things the last 5 times Iv been here and it’s always when the young female manger in working in the morning. They will “accidentally” scan it twice and call the female manger over to remove it and she acts like she does but you still get charged AND ITS ON THE RESEAT. then when you go back in to ask for your money and fix it she gives dirty looks or refuses. Iv watched the female manager and another girl (cashier) pocket money before when they didn’t give back the correct change and I’m not talking about some penny's, im talking about 20$+. Customer went back in to tell them she didn’t get correct change and they argued with her and I had just watched them pocket the 20$ right as she walked back in. I do not care if it’s 1$ or 30$ they double scanning when you only got 1 and pocketing the money customers work for.

Since their relocation, it's obvious the staff has been re-trained. Everyone is highly courteous, if they don't have a solution to your needs, they're patient and take the time to meet your needs. All the aisles have staff constantly down them and keep them looking wonderful including the toy aisle so many children love to destroy haha. Even during peek hours when things can become easily chaotic, the staff displays level headedness which in return helps to ease impatient customers.

I am tired of the Honea Path location having the freight sitting up and down the isles or blocking the isles. When I move them out of my way only to get something and the shelf tag doesn't match what I'm charged. They don't honor the shelf pric just give the excuse we are under staffed

Dollar General's corporate strategy is to move into smaller, poorer, areas, or locations with very little selection. The profit margins on the items they sell are exceptionally high due to the manipulative pricing and store name. You might feel like after seeing how low everything seems accompanied by the name: "Dollar General", that it is indeed good value. However, upon closer research you will easily discover that the price per unit, per ounce, is marginally higher than other local options. Do not buy food here, or if you do, do your research first.As for this local store and how it is currently maintained as of October 2020: Checkout has been slow for me and shelves can be very messy and unstocked.

To small dark bad lighting poor service and sticking shelves with products that are always in demand as it was at the OLD store BEFOR this one was built seems to me the management is not concernd of this store town growth in,ecconnomy. Also not all but most if employees do not greet the costumers I have only few that have and actually work but they seem,to not stay long as employed there at this store I'm not sorry for the company corporate this is one store poorly run and not excersis in customer service and sales I'm high demand and fave all time most purchased PRODUCTS hey you G/M STEP UP AND FIX THIS STORE AS IT SHOULD IM BY FAR NOT AS TO THE ONLY ONE THAT IS SAYING THIS TAKE AN COMMUNTY SERVEY AND YOU WILL SOON SEE THE COUPLE ISSUES THAT BEEN THE PROBLEMS SENCE THE OLDER STORE THANX

This DG could be way cleaner than what it is. The isles are usually blocked and it's difficult to get to what we need sometimes. There is generally a line of 5 or more people every time we are in there no matter what the time is. On the up side, the staff is helpful and very very pleasant.

“Mask Required” signs all over, but not enforced at all. Employees don’t wear them, and when they do, it’s usually on their chin. What’s the point of having a company policy if no one cares? I want to be able to go to my local Dollar General without having to be worried about COVID.

I always find good deals at dollar general but honestly the last 2 times I've been there I've been stalked and watched down every single Isle like I'm stealing. I really don't appreciate that. I always have money to pay for what I get, I don't have to steal and I don't think I should be treated like I'm a thief.

This is the worst dollar general I've ever seen. Everything is filthy. Boxes everywhere nothing is priced correctly and employees are standing around talking complaining doing nothing but hanging out.

While visiting today the store manager really let into the cashier until that girl started crying. Overall the store was stocked, clean, and even though the cashier was having a bad day, she was still very nice.

Dollar General, in Belton, Always has a nice staff and always has good prices. Right behind Hardees on Main Street and beside a great Chinese restaurant, Asian Kitchen.
