The people that work here are so kind .. on my last 2 visits I had a lot of groceries and the guy took my food out and wouldn't accept a tip for helping me, he unloaded my things in to the car as well .. great job guys bc this will keep me coming back

This store has a little bit of everything. It's the closest thing to having a department store in Holly Hill. Generally clean store. Seems there's always boxes of merchandise in the aisles waiting to be unpacked, but not a big deal. Good luck finding a business these days that is fully staffed, lol. I like having this shopping option in our small town of limited retail options. My only advise is the staff could be more friendly. They barely acknowledge the customer at check out, so I gave 4 stars instead of 5.

Have been here multiple times in the past few weeks and much needed items remain unstocked, literally nothing changes. The same boxes sit on carts for weeks at a time, not moving, the same drinks are unreachable, pushed to the back where I can’t get them. I wish they would go ahead and replace this dirty nasty store with something good, especially since the family dollar is now unreliable on when it’s open

This is the cleanest Dollar General store in the Tri-county area. I’ve seen the worst, and this one is outstanding compared to the others. Everything is on the shelves and neat, there are no boxes in the aisles, the employees are all working, not hanging around on their phones. They are actually helpful! I’m very impressed!

Last trip to this store for me. As all the rest of the Grocery stores in Holly Hill have been getting better at attitude and customer service/care, this one has gone way down hill. The prices are now higher than same type stores in town on many items (they started with very low prices originally), the selection has been dwindling and it has the worst staff attitudes that I've seen here in this town. No more for us here!

Went to this store to get a couple items. Had only 1 regular checkout. Slow and I got about sick, just wanted to get home. I had picked up a 6 pk of Michelob which I enjoy after yard work. Was asked for ID. Had just grabbed bank car so didn't have it. I,'m 82 yrs old. Left it right there. Makes no common sense.

Today was a very different store that I visited when it opened. Today the store was in sad shape. There were Iles of merchandise that had not been put up , you couldn't even get to some things on the shelves because carts were in the way. Mostly every Ile was empty of products. I did notice that the were very few workers on the floor. If I lived in this town and this store was in my neighborhood I would cry. Sad sad sad. 😔

Bargain and low priced thrill!! Craft and simple decor lover's HEAVEN!! Everything that your average local Dollar General carries + soooo much more!! Literally can get it all...from a Bag of Sugar, to a bag under bed storage. Not to mention the "you choose" bags that can be stuffed with 100's of different markers, pens, and pencil.

Though I rated it 3 stars, still the place I feel most comfortable doing quick shopping. The customer service is usually not great unless your related to someone there or know them. Usually only have two registers open but you wouldn't even think they had that because the regular one seldom has a light on. They do have pretty good deals, but in the past the managers special deals they would "forget" to enter in or just plain not do so I had to start watching my receipts like a hawk. They have gotten better but they have made me liery of trying to sale shop. Also keep an eye on expiration dates. They don't check them as much as they should especially on their almond milk. They we're about 4-5 days past sell by date.

Nice store. But, they need to be careful and not junk it up like so many of the DG's. The items at the entrance of the store, just inside, needed to be about one foot further from the door. Too close. Very good selection of items in store. Check out was FAST! No Wally World shenanigans.

The store is so well organized and eaay to navigate. Ive been to dollar generals in small towns and they are usually really cluttered and next to impossible to walk through. The staff is always very nice and welcoming they are also happy to help when needed. Great place to shop!

It's like if walmart and dollar general had a baby it would be this place. It is amazing I the atmosphere Is wonderful. I went in for lighters and makeup and found everything I was looking for. The service was great absolutely loved the place and people Darlington needs this wish they'd get one

When I got a fresh gallon of milk and opened it in the morning after sitting In the fridge all night it was spoiled before you jest selling it make sure it not bad 😊🙁 but the employees are super nice but Also make it cheaper please

It was my first time ever seeing a DG Market(fresh produce extended grocery options), so it was very cool. But employees were not so kind. The cashier didn't say a single word, not even hello or what my total was.

It was horrible, my husband and I are trying to fix rooms for our minor Granddaughters who have had to come live with us. We were seeking storage bins and containers,no one in the store would help us and they had no idea what was on sale.The store was a mess, there wasn't enough room for us to shop for the items we needed, with no one to help us. I live 7 miles from one store and 4 miles from the other. I will from now on spend a little more money and shop elsewhere.

I am a very day shopper at this store and I don't appreciate being told about other employees personal problems mainly by a certain young lady named Misty its very unprofessional !!! I come here to shop with my family I don't wAnt to hear that you hate your job or how much you hate your employees.And further more the upper management of this store is all so unprofessional I brought several issues to upper management with no results im very disappointed .. You say your customer's are #1 but yet you hire people who doesn't have great customer service skills . I've met some very rude people lately to be honest it makes your store look more like a daycare than a business , I was all ways told you done back ground checks on ALL EMPLOYEES but obviously you don't their Is a child molester working at this store, recently Dollar General Market here of Holly Hill hired a man named " Russell" I was in food section getting my grocerys. And their was a young girl maybe around 14 maybe 15 years old standing their talking to an employee when Russell said and I quote " I WOULD LIKE TO TIE YOU UP" this concerns me mostly because this is a family type store young children run about the store and this needs to be addressed the young lady was so upset she left something needs to be done before someone gets hurt 😡😡😡 ....This issue needs to be addressed ... Something needs to be done with upper management I feel like they don't care about this store or their customers ..I'm not very happy .. And after that day I haven't shopped their since they have defiantly lost my business !!! I'm one of many dissatisfied customer's .

This rating is specifically for customer service. I made a phone call inquiring of an item to see if it was in stock and available. A male employee answered the phone and after listening to my request he sounded confused. Instead of asking someone else or looking up the item he hung up instead. It MAY have been a mistake but after calling back a number of times with no answer I was convinced it was on purpose. Very disappointing

I do not like the way the digital coupons work. My total today was $50 + and I had the $5 coupon but it did not take it off. A few of my other coupons came off. Receipt said I saved $5 today.
